I would definitely recommend this hotel in Key West. The location, staff and room were great!!

Room needs some updating and is very small, but reasonably priced for Key West. Front desk staff was awesome.

Nice small hotel with plenty on space for your stay. Our room was a mini suite and was very nice. I would stay here again. It is centrally located and an easy walk to downtown. The staff was excellent and served a nice continental breakfast.

My husband and I loved the location of the Heron House Court. It was a bit of a walk to the main attractions and party area of Duval St but we liked wandering around the neighborhood and discovering the places that locals go. Roman from Heron House was very helpful and gave great recommendations for restaurants in the area. I would stay here again.

I booked this hotel based on price and number of good reviews. I have to say that almost all reviews were very accurate, especially concerning the manager Roman. He was one of the nicest, most helpful hotel managers I have ever dealt with. His attentiveness and friednly attitude made up for any shortcomings the hotel may have. The surrounding neighboorhood is nice/quiet and close to Duval St and other attractions. My only suggestion to the hotel would be that my room did have some maintenance issues like paint/drywall repairs needed, but the room was very clean and comfortable. Overall a great experience and would go back for sure. Thanks to Roman!

Good location - quiet near good restaurants. Rooms need attention and updating. Bring your own toiletries, only very small soap and shampoo in room. Between 7 pm and 8 am nothing available ( no microwave or coffeepot in room or lobby). Roman, the innkeeper, was very accommodating, pleasant, and helpful. If it were not for Roman I would have rated this B&B a 2.

One of the smallest rooms I have stayed @. Parking is biggest frustration in this residential neighborhood . Room was clean no doubt but needs to be upgraded. Bathroom floor linoleum not tile and wall paper peeling off ceiling area n bathroom. Between the parking and small space on room compared to thers will probably not stay here again too many other B&B Moreno and spacious. Get ready to park far away and walk bike or moped .

we had an awesome time, the hotel is a perfect and quiet place for a romantic getaway! the host Roman makes the guests feel welcome. the rooms in front of the whirlpool are fantastic!

Very convenient for walking to wharf and other sites. Roman was very helpful and friendly.

Roman was wonderful! He went out of his way to help schedule acitivties and to make you comfortable. He made you feel like you were staying with a friend. If we return to Key West, we will definitely stay there again and will recommend it to other..

I booked a room with a king size bed. I got 2 twin beds pushed together with a king size sheet on them. The mattresses were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. You could feel the springs even though they were covered with a blanket. We had one small window that looked directly at the house next door that was about 4 feet away...so there was no view.

Friendly atmosphere. Roman was very helpful/knowledgeable. The only negative thought concerning the room was that ti only had one chair. Since there was two of us, somebody had to sit on the bed. Of course, you really don't spend too much time in the room in Key West.

We had a very nice time at the Heron House. Breakfast could have been a little more but would still stay there again.

Nice hotel and staff was very helpful. It was a bed and breakfast, breakfast very simple, I don't require bacon and eggs but would of been nice if they offered fresh fruit.

Perfect location, easy to walk to all the attractions! Great room. Enjoyed the hot tub. Breakfast was just OK. Good value for the price.

The location is excellent in the old town and is very walk-able to all major destinations. There are several excellent restaurants nearby. Service was excellent and Roman was a superb host. The condition of the rooms and exterior could use an upgrade but all was clea.

The room we stayed in needed some updating in the bath but the room was quaint and the amenities lovely. The innkeeper was right on with recommendations for dining and definitely rent bikes for getting around!

This is a wonderful place to stay in Key West. Convenient and comfortable. Needs a few updates, but the staff (Roman in particular) make up for it all by sheer strength of personality and friendliness. We appreciated the small size of the Inn which gave it a home away from home feel. Upon arrival we found a nearby *on street* parking spot, left the car parked and walked the days we were in Key West. Helpful friendly staff made this so much more inviting than a huge resort. We loved the Heron House Court!

We had a fantastic time! Parking is a challenge, but as others have noted Roman is very helpful in finding a spot. Leave the car parked and just walk around town. Many restaurants are nearby including on the waterfront. Duval street is a little more of a hike, but not a problem if you are healthy. It helps walk all that food and drink off! Many areas around property to relax. Pool and spa in separate areas. Quiet residential area. Average continental breakfast. Staff extremely helpful. Enjoyed thoroughly! Would return in a heartbeat!

We’ve stayed at the Heron House twice in the past 2 years and both times have been a pleasure. Comfortable, lovely and conveniently located. We’ll stay there again.

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival by Roman who was also extremely helpful in directing us to the "must do\see" in Key West.

Originally we were going to stay on the other end of the island. Decided instead to stay in the old section as long as we were going to be there for 3 days.. Searched the internet a lot and came up with Heron House Court. It turned out being a fantastic choice and would go back tomorrow if we could. The bed was very comfortable, the ground floor room opened right out to the pool and hot tub, there was unlimited ice available, a little fridge in the room, a continental daily breakfast was just enough to start the day. A couple warnings: the TV in the room was small, but we were not there for TV. Our room opened right out to a common deck. There are other rooms that are on the 2nd floor that only have windows. be sure you know what you are reserving. There is a great Irish bar 2 blocks away and a pastry shop just down the lane. It's a little walk to Duval St. but next time we'll rent bikes to go all over easily.

Richard and Roman run a top-notch, professional B&B at Heron House Court. Breakfast offers several tasty choices, and the guests who come down to dine are friendly and open. There is a very open, welcoming air to HHC. Very safe and *quiet*, too! Your room will be cozy, but even if you have to work, there is free Wi-Fi. Pretty grounds; clean establishment; a lush, historical neighborhood...you will feel welcome and well looked-after at Heron House Court. Highly recommend!

ROMAN!!!!! What a sweetheart! The best part about our stay here was the personal service we received from Roman at the front desk. Each day of our stay he went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. The inn is beautiful, in a safe neighbourhood, and only a short walk from Duval St where everything happens! We would certainly stay here again and hope to see you again next year!

I will never go there again

Great place to stay. We will go back. Roman was great. Very nice and courteous and always trying to make our stay more enjoyable.

Keeping in mind costs of Key West in general, this property is fine. Don't expect luxury, but staff is very helpful (Roman) and it's nice getting to talk with other guests. It's a good 15 minute walk to Duval, but neighborhood is pretty and safe. I don't recommend having a car. Very hard to find parking spaces in area. Less than 10 minutes to ferry, which is a great way to get to area from Fort Myers, Florida.

Stayed at this B&B for 2 nights. It was a very pleasant experience....it's a lovely, cozy place with a warm, friendly and helpful manager. Finding a parking spot is tough in the neighborhood, however we could walk to Mallory Square, which was a big plus.

We have stayed at Heron House Court twice. On neither trip did we use our car. We could walk any place we wanted to go from the B&B. Roman, the manager, is very personable and knowledgeable, and will get any information you need for a wonderful vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at Heron House Court. It is what I consider to be a small bed & breakfast that is not to close or too far away from Duval St. The staff is very friendly and really takes pride in their job, especially Roman! He makes an effort to get to know you, when we arrived he gave us a tour of the house and made us feel right at home. Really such a nice guy! There is a good assortment of food on their continental breakfast buffet too. We would recommend Heron House Court to anyone and will definitely return!

What really made this place was its host, Roman, who was charmingly nice and ready to help with any questions. I really felt he was there to make my stay its best. Many thanks. I also loved the location, close enough to walk but far enough to get out of the crowd. My room could have used a few cosmetic upgrades but was clean and adiquate. Thumbs up

What can I say Roman makes this place a have to spot to stay. He really goes out of his way to make your time a great one. When we arrived at the B and B the parking was tough. My wife met him at the front desk as I waited outside in the vehicle. He came out and actually walked two blocks to find a spot for us as I drove around. Who does that? Needless to say that from there on out our time at the Heron House Court exceeded our expectations. I told him that we had read the good reviews on TripAdvisor and Hotels.com. As Roman told us you cant avoid him and good thing because our stay might have been different.

Roman was the most personable, sweet, helpful staff member. The outdoor space was adequate including the pool but the rooms were small. Location was close enough to walk or bike to Duval.

This was our second stay at Heron House Court. We love the location and walk to all sights. Our room was very comfortable and quiet even though it was just off the lobby. I think the breakfast could be a little better but it's ok. One of the desk clerks is very helpful and professional. There were guest from Germany and Brazil and we enjoyed the interaction with visitors from overseas.

Roam greater us with a smile and a tour. He was very helpful with suggesting excursions and offered to book for us. Are room was an unexpected surprise. It was two story with a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was older but did the job and was bigger than most B&B pools. The hot tub was huge and the perfect temperature. There was cute sitting areas in the breeze way that would have been perfect for some board games with friends. The room was clean and "homey". Location was closer to where the ferry comes in. There are cool restaurants and bars in the water there and a great Cuban coffee stand. Duval was a hike but we did it so we Gould burn off the daiquiri's and conch fritters. Also, nice that even though there was a poker run the weekend we were there it was quiet at the hotel so

Service was very good. Breakfast is basic. Building is old but clean. Good value for the low price and close to downtown. My wife and I rented bicycles that were delivered right away. All we had to do was leave them chained to the bike rack out back when we left and they picked them up. If you want good food at a low price, eat where the locals eat over on Stock Island at the Hogfish Bar & Grill. Excellent fresh fish and teriffic lobster bisque soup.

I would highly recommend Heron House Court as the staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help you as best they can. All the comforts of home and very quiet and respectful clientel.
