Hotel is outdated,the beds were never properly made when room was serviced, the pool was empty and dirty,and to top it all part of the popcorn ceiling fell on top of me while taking a shower.

If you're not expecting much and just need a cheap place to stay, this is fine. We had some problems with the room (had to really crank the hot water up, heater didn't do a whole lot in the room), but it still was okay enough. One of the people who worked there, whose name I unfortunately didn't get, was one of the nicest people I've ever dealt with at any hotel, and she didn't even identify herself as an employee at first.

I had to attend a funeral of a beloved aunt and, needless to say, this was not a happy day for me. Yet the hotel--being a pleasant place to stay-- helped lighten the burden and ameliorate the overall negativity that always accompanies family bereavement.

Fine for what we needed. Convenient.

The hotel is close to Toms River, and it was difficult to find a hotel stay for just one weekend night. This Best Western was filthy. The carpet and hallways had trash scattered and the carpet looked as if it was never shampooed. We were traveling with two small children and requested a non-smoking room, but could see the smoke film haze upon entering the room. I would suggest this hotel as a cheap crash pad, I would not recommend this as a place if you needed to spend time in your hotel room. The morning staff was courteous and there was a good selection of breakfast in the morning.

The hotel was mediocre--the hallway and room were dingy. It was expecially unconfortable to pass through the laundry room to exit for the driveway. However, the breakfast choice was good.

This is a decent stop but nothing fancy. The pool was nice for the kids to swim. The breakfast was surprisingly copious with hard boiled eggs, a fresh bagels, among other standard continental fare. My biggest complaint was that non-smoking rooms are next to smoking rooms so the hallways smell. The place just needs a refresher in decor. Otherwise fine.

Near family, good value for the price. Will stay if again if prices are competitive.

For another hotel with the same amenities prepare to pay considerably more in the area. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. Usual hallway smell for a hotel that has smoking rooms but you couldn't tell once inside your room. ater pressure was good, sheets were clean, modern tv w/ on demand and plenty of channels. Wireless signal was strong but speed was slow but enough to stream a movie on netflix. There is a dunkin' donuts/gas station in the parking lot which was handy. The breakfast was comparable to a hampton or H express. Some rooms were exterior corridor but 2nd flood was all inside good to know if you have a preference. All told a perfect bargain for someone out of town for work or on a limited budget but wanting the free internet and breakfast. Its not flashy but definetly a good value.

ROOM AND BATHROOM WERE SPOTLESS, BED WAS COMFORTABLE, DESK PERSONNEL WERE COURTEOUS. NO COMPLAINTS.

The price was right and value was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable and easy to access. We used the complimentary WiFi but no other amenities during our stay. We would stay again.

Too soft bed and cricket sounds wake me up a whole night.

Stayed for a two night weekend. I usually stay at the Hilton Garden Inn up the street, but they were totally booked. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and there was a microwave and fridge in the room. I was concerned because the common areas smelled of smoke, but you could not smell it in the room at all. The complimentary Continental Breakfast was better than most I've experienced. Coffee, 4 kinds of juice, boiled eggs, cereals, fresh fruit, bagels, rolls and muffins. Last, but not least, make-your-own Belgian waffles! The hotel was very quiet, even though it seemed pretty full. The only minor complaint that I have is that when checking out, the clerk did not ask me how my stay was, nor did she thank me. She just gave me my receipt and said "There ya go!". Ooookay. Um, you're welcome. Little stuff, but it still peeved me. So to recap: 8 miles to the beach, clean, fridge and microwave, comfy bed, good breakfast, shoddy manners. All in all, a good experience.

nice room, clean, great continental breakfast. i could not use the pool because it was in maintence =(

Bed very uncomfortable(too soft). Even basic toiletries not provided. Bar soap only. Had to call for more towels (only one set provided). Had to call for morepillows (only two provided). Pillows brought to room had no pillow case on them. Seems like there is no evening housekeeping staff. Front desk attendant delivered pillows and we had to go to front desk to pick up extra towels. Pool opens too late. (10 am)(with 11 am check out)

Overall good stay but lack of hot water on first night was annoying.Only other complaint was the lack of t.v. channels. They need to add more to their cable line up.

Pleasant stay. Would recommend to others. Deluxe Continental breakfast was enjoyable. Very nice overall experience.

this motel is awfull snd no one should ever stay there

The overall Hotel was in great condition. There was only one thing that we could have done without. The rooms that designates smoking, does smell bad. Other than that it was clean.

+ I got a good room with nice view over the pool, the pool were clean. It was easy to get some sleep. - The door creaked, the flush function didn`t work so good, the window got stuck in open position, the breakfast were very simpel. It´s still a two star hotel so I didn´t expect more exclusiveness, I give this a four star.
