Friendly staff, room was clean if a little dated and had facilities such as a hairdryer and press as you'd expect. Parking was fine and its easy for getting to Manchester.

Very small rooms in comparison to Premier Inns, basic décor and more expensive - lighting didn't even have light-shades! Otherwise, clean, acceptable hotel. Food was good both portion size and meal preparation and bar/room for this pleasant.Was in busy traffic area,

A great hotel for a single nights stay. Free parking and clean rooms. Very close to the centre of altrincham and a metro link. Not the hotel to choose if the hotel is as important to you as the location it is in, as it is nothing fancy. For me it was a comfy and clean bed at the end of the night.

Nothing wrong

The only issue we had with the room is its sound insulation is poor. Our bed headboard was against the wall and right behind it must've been the adjacent's room toilet. You could hear its use and flushing as if it was in your own room! Very awkward. Had we stayed longer, we would have asked to change rooms. Other than that, the hotel was fine with an excellent location and great English breakfast.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to the Train station and bus terminus.

From the outside the hotel doesn't look inviting at all, especially for a best western hotel but there was no problems once inside. Friendly staff, good breakfast with plenty of parking and only a 5 minute walk to the town centre.

Good location in centre of Altrincham. Rooms are very tired and it needs some cash spending on it, but it's OK for a night or two at a push.

The hotel and reception staff were excellent in attending to my needs. The only thing I missed was a private lounge for hotel guests to sit in ,there was only a bar with tv which was also open to the general public and a seating area next to the reception desk.It was ideally situated for transport and I would definately stay at this hotel again.

Great location and service was great, near a good location in Altrincham. Only negative was the fire alarm rang 3times for no reason on 3 different occasions while I was there for two weeks. Would stay here again.

The room was very similar to travel lodge, small room, ok for overnight, not for longer, would not stay in again, as I expected more from a Best Western Hotel. Breakfast selection was very poor for a vegetarian. Hotel was spotlessly clean and staff very friendly.

Rooms fronting onto the main road are noisy, no tea or coffee facility in room.

Ideal central location for all amenities, family room very spacious and clean, hotel staff friendly and polite, delicious breakfast and lovely dining area. Only tiny fault was needed more tea bags in room but otherwise very happy all round with stay and would recommend this hotel.

Having stayed at this hotel many times before, it never fails to deliver exactly what you want when spending several days away on business. It's a major source of annoyance when there are no rooms free and I have to find somewhere else!

Nice staff, rooms need an upgrade though and shower pressure was poor.

- The only entertainment in the hotel is the Bar but it shut all the time during our visit. - No map provided in the hotel - The condition of the towel - torn towel should not distribute to hotel guest - No minibar - Staff should not use the same lift as hotel guest ie house keeping and kitchen/ restaurant staff. It's not pleasant for the hotel guest when we were in the same lift with their wirking equipment - trolley

Pleasant friendly staff. Hotel needs to find a better place than the front entrance to accommodate smokers.

Enjoyed stay and liked the area

Hotel and room better than some other reviews suggested. Free wi-Fi very useful. Noisy on Friday night until the early hours.

I stayed over night before and early morning flight. There is a shuttle service to the airport which was reliable and cost less than taxi. The receptionist that helped me was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel even looked after my luggage which arrived on site a couple days ahead of me. Value for money is great.

Central location for local shops but there is only a few but a nice old style high street .Close for visit to old Trafford for football and about 30 min by motorways to the Trafford centre which really was worth the visit . A train and bus station within 10 min walk so location and amenities good .But the bad bit would be the state of the room we were first put into which lasted 10 minutes before we complained . Dirty ,old and could hardly get the cases in as it was that small , not at all as was shown on the internet to tempt us in.The staff in the bar really were a bit couldn't care and on the first day the very first order of just sandwiches of 4 ordered 3 were wrong .After this all seemed to calm down and we were moved to another room which was much better and our stay was good and comfy .Room was a bit chilly at night and there was something spilt in the hall by the lift that made the floor sticky for all to walk through only cleaned when we told them about it even though there staff walked through it every day.We would stay here again as the value and all round situation was above average .

Stayed at the Altrincham Cresta Court overnight on way to Scotland. I did not know that the hotel was one of the main accommodations for the Manchester United football Club but found out as I was leaving when a Huge group came in...lucky me - I was leaving! But the hotel was good and the staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel could do with an update but was clean and comfy enough, and the bed was super.

Was in a convenient location for visiting family. We had a family room which was a great size and comfortable. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Sound proofing of rooms not great though, able to hear a lot of noise from other rooms, drawers closing etc. Also there was a wedding one night and we could hear the music and DJ quite loudly even though we were on the second floor!

Stayed for just 1 night, but had a horrible experience sleeping in the night. I could literally hear everything from the next room..not sure if the walls existed at all ! Finally had to call reception to calm the next room down. I wudn't stay again...

Stayed for 1 night 19.10 in an executive room which was very good, spacious, clean and had all we needed..... except a mini fridge which was a slight disappointment. Booked an evening meal in the restaurant but found the food was nothing special, and the service extremely slow. We would not return.

The room was clean and tidy,hotel reception were very helpful.Unfortunately,the bar service and lack of room service were rather disappointing!

Overall we were pleased. That being said, the first room we were checked into (a room for three) was somewhat beaten upon and directly over a party room. When we were unable to sleep because of the noise and contacted reception we were moved to a totally upgraded room in a quiet area of the hotel. TOP marks to the staff to prompt, positive action. Given the opportunity, we would stay there again but check the room before moving into it.

The room smelled of cigarettes, the heat didn't work, and the bed was like sleeping on a pile of rocks. The staff was very nice, but weren't able to fix the problems due to being out of extra rooms.

It was so clean and comfortable. Location was a bit inconvenient. It was worth staying there.

It is a good location with free parking but the rooms are tired and dated and far too warm.

Good value. Clean room. Great.
