I have stayed at this hotel many times and have always been treated very well. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate their guests. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Only one waffle maker - long line - spent 3 nights never got a chance to eat one waffle. Room was very beat up and not updated. Heater had no temp auto shutoff - would run constantly and get hot - had to turn off and would get cold at night. however Staff was very nice.

If possible take a room on the upper floor as noise from upper bedrooms carries through to the lower level. The continental breakfast comprises an adequate amount of the usual offerings abnd was efficiently managed by the lady who keeps the breakfast room clean and tidy.

Good Continental Breakfast. Very courteous staff who gave good recommendations where to stop in Door County. Clean room and hotel.

Hotel is very mediocor, but the staff went out of the their way to be accomodating. Our reserves got a bit messed up, but the front desk clerk worked to clear it up. Breakfast was good - lots of options and they started it early due to the start time of the bike ride. I will stay there again for the convienence of the hotel and the friendly staff.

It was nice, except I was in a handicapped room. If I was a special needs person, and they generally have a harder time sleeping than a typical client, I would not have appreciated my room being right next to the breakfast room and pool with the added noise. In addition, the shower sprayer when in its hook went towards the back of the shower, making it difficult to get under the water. I was able to stay in relative comfort, but since the room was fitted for someone who has difficulty with normal daily activities, I think these should be addressed. Thanks!

We were a late check-in and it all went very smoothly.

good location to start our exploration of Door County. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I wish the smoking area for staff was not right outside the front door! Had to pass by the smokers everytime we left or returned....Seems they should be required to smoke out the BACK door, not in the front....Breakfast was good, but should have sausage and eggs available everyday.

relaxing and very nice, it was clean with just enough ammenities. Morning breakfast had good selection and well presented. No complaints

overall it was good the room had a little musty smell but air conditioner took care of it

I'm a repeat customer at this hotel, and will probably use it again when visiting Door County. It's a great place to start from when visting all the sights in this beautiful area. Breakfast was good, and we appreciated the early start time with this meal. But, as I've read in other reviews, why is the pool positioned next to this breakfast area? No one seems to want to swim early, to be the featured entertainment for the other guests who are eating.

I have stayed in this hotel before. Both times we very much enjoyed the spa & pool. Only problem was that the breakfast area is right next to pool area and you can smell the chlorine while you are eating. It was nice that the room I had was furnished with microwave and fridge.

The hotel was fairly clean and the service was good, but not impressed with the cleanliness of the hot tub. I went in the hot tub Friday and the following Tuesday ended up at the clinic. I got a bad rash on my body and the doc said it was from the hot tub!!!

A bit inflated prices due to Packer weekend, end rooms closest to pool smell like chlorine. Breakfast was pretty good. Neighborhood Pub (you get 10% off with hotel key) is not very good

This hotel seems to be run well. Bathrooms are in need of upgraded toilets (bigger & higher). Plumbing takes patience and several flushes! Desk staff is pretty nice. Housekeeping does a fine job. Pat the breakfast lady is a dear and works her tail off!

We enjoyed our stay at the Maritime Best Western Hotel in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. The breakfast menu had a good variety of food from which to choose. The room was comfortable, neat and clean. The location of the hotel was within easy driving distances of the activities on the peninsula. The staff was very helpful and well organized.

Extremely friendly, helpful staff, not a new facility but obviously in the process of being updated. New, beautiful, fluffy white towels & sheets. Breakfast was yummy. Given the amount of noise we could hear in our room, the place should have been empty but it was quite busy. We are already planning on a return trip!

This Best Western needs to spruce up the rooms a little, but the beds were very comfortable so we enjoyed our stay. It is very easy to find and close to a main road.

Convient location. Not as nice a place as previous Best Western in Ishpeming Mi. Cigarettes and beer cans remained on the scene at our entrance door for the entire stay. Otherwise comfortable place.

The place was clean and quiet. Not much service needed but seemed good. Breakfast was ok. A bit difficult to find with street signs not consistent with the directions we were given.

This hotel needs some updates. For the price you can't go wrong, but there are nicer places to stay.

This hotel is somewhat dated and could use remodeling. The beds and pillows were terrible and should immediately be replaced. The mattresses visibly sagged and were obviously very old and worn. The pillows were not comfortable at all. Bring your own pillows if you are dumb enough to stay here. The shower water was lukewarm at best even with the hot water completely on. The toilet had a mildew ring despite being "sanitized for our comfort". The staff was friendly, the location was decent, but the overall condition of the room left us decided to never return. Stay away!

Hotel is older but kept well. Rooms and bathroom very clean and well kept. Coffee machine in room and continental breakfast on main level available in AM. Beds very comfortable. Did not take advantage of pool but looked good as well. Would definately stay again when in area. Locals very friendly, fun pubs to hang out in on main street downtown. Thumbs up!!

We stayed in Sturgeon Bay because it was close to everything. The hotel was satisfactory and it was nice to have breakfast included. It certainly saved us some money each day for 6 days. The staff assisted us with places to go that were really great; i.e. Junction Restaurant where the train circles the bar area and brings your food to you; an excellent winery with free wine tastings; several lighthouses, caves & parks.

Before we booked, we wanted to stay further north up the penisula. Sturgeon Bay was just OK, but almost anywhere further up would have been better. Hotel is in sort of commercial area (eg near Walmart), but had an excellent pub just over the road which made up for that somewhat.

This is an old motel that has not had much updating. There was mold in the bathtub but the rest of the room was reasonably clean. Breakfast was ho-hum. Front desk staff was very responsive and helpful.
