Best Western Cottonwood Inn - קוטונווד

We are quite pleased with our room for an overnight stay. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Recommended a nice restaurant for us to go for supper and mentioned we should not miss the free breakfast in the morning. It was quite good especially with the u-can make your own fresh waffles. Thank you.

Nice staff, great breakfast, shame about the online booking agent who classified this as Sedona and made a lot of work for us. Heard it happens often.

I think our stay was nice. The staff is super helpful and friendly.

I don't know what the other reviews are talking about. I loved the place from time we checked in. The room was quite lovely, the breakfast great and swimming pool was clean. Would definitely go back.

The air conditioning did not seem to be working in the breakfast room. It was very hot in there. The hotel was clean and comfortable given the star rating.

Can not say anything bad about this place. The pool was great and the laundry near the pool made it easy to check without leaving the pool area. The young lady behind the counter was very nice and made my check-in easy and enjoyable.

That's was o.k. for only one night on our way to another town. Small problem, the device to be used for the door opening magnetic card was out of order, so every time we wish open our room door we had to go to the desk and ask someone to come to open our door with the master card.

Hopefully this was just a temporary problem and the A/C got fixed but it was very warm in the breakfast area and also very small. It would seem like a good idea to expand the seating into the lobby area a bit to accomodate busy times. We could hardly move once in our seats and gettiing in and out was difficult. All in all we have stayed at this BW twice and it is a good value for a place to stop overnight while traveling.

Excellent resort, lots of activities available. Try the houseboat 101class where they train you on how to operate a 70 foot houseboat. Excellent class if you plan to rent a houseboat. If you don't plan to rent a house boat the class still gives you the chance to go out on the lake and drive and practice with the houseboat and a speedboat. It was a great day on the lake and we made some new friends. Great pictures are just around every corner of the lake.

We just needed a place to stay one night between a memorial service & Easter celebrations. My husband is disabled & we received a ground floor room as requested. However, path to the room from the handicapped parking wasn't the best & sidewalk to the office was very narrow. The place is a little worn, but everything was very clean except for the long black hair found under the bedspread. All the staff we encountered were cheery & helpful. Ice machine only gave us 3 cubes, but the breakfast lady filled our bucket for us. Breakfast was a little crowded, but the lady kept everything well stocked & clean. Waffles, eggs, sausage, muffins, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, toast - no complaints except the coffee wasn't the best. Could've made our own in the room. Room was spacious except couldn't open the bathroom door while on the toilet. Nice counter space & wifi was good. Central location close to lots of restaurants. Didn't use the pool. Overall good value. Would stay again if we ever needed a room in Cottonwood again.

I would recommend the hotel for its location and service. Everyone was very pleasant.

Overall condition of the facility was good. Good choices for breakfast (complimentary). The jets in the hot tub were not working, and although housekeeping did make the bed between our nights, there was NO soap and such left beyond our initial check in!

Overall good value in location that allows for easy access to the areas many wonderful sites.

We had a good time.

We have friends that live in the Cottonwood area and wanted to stay nearby. The hotel was close to local attractions and easy to get to. We enjoyed our stay. The pool and hot tub were close for maintenance when we were there. The breakfast was good but the dining area is really small. The desk clerks were very helpful. Great stay otherwise.

The bathtub was dirty. The television had lines in it. We tried to check in early, they said there were no rooms available. When we came back 15 minutes before checkin time, they still wouldn't give us a room. At 3:00, they finally started to check people in. By then we had to wait in line. We like best western in other areas in Arizona, but we won't ever stay at the one in cottonwood again.

I wish I could give this hotel better reviews. the woman who is attending the breakfast area was fantastic. at check in the night desk agent Pilar was great. Kind, helpful, smiley informative. But after i checked out , and went back to retrieve my sons blanket that he had left in a chair in our room.... even though I was there before several others came in she assisted the n ew paying customers instead of myself. We waited 45 mins (5 year old boys.... Need their car blankets!) For her to tell me she couldn't reach any of the house keepers on the phone... and there was nothing in the computer about a left item. So there was nothing she could do, because het lobby was full. I took my son in tears back home to tucson. additionally my other comment is about the hot tub/pool. it should be noted on the website that the pool or hot tub is not open. when we arrived we were told that neither 1 opened until March first. our room was clean.... but smelled rather musty. Great to have a fridge in the room! I was checking out this hotel while doing some research for my upcoming wedding. the location is good for travelers in the area, I just wish the customer service has been is good when we were departing as it was when we arrived. I understand the importance of taking care of your customers. I also understand first come first served..... I guess they dont. certainly my son doesn't understand anything except they have a blanket of his and didn't want to helo get it back

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Property was sold out, but we could not hear any guests in any of the rooms around us which is something we strive for in a hotel. Breakfast was good but crowded on a Saturday morning. Our friends had issues with lack of hot water in the morning, but we did not.

The bed was the best! Everything else, it was not worth the money. Pool was closed; spa was closed; breakfast was ok; the door on the room was not secure; the bathroom light was out, no switch; heater took a long time to heat the room; walls were thin-noisy. We've stayed at better hotels for this price! Won't be staying here again!!

The person who welcomed us was a bit rude and impatient. The wireless internet was not working. There was no internet at the business center.

My husband and I stayed here overnight on Thanksgiving Eve (2012) while visiting friends on our way across the country for a move. The motel was clean, new-looking and quiet. All we needed was a good night's sleep. It also had a laundromat on site which was great, although the machines were very old. We didn't try the breakfast so I can't comment on that, but overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

Located on major intersection. Good breakfast included. Fine family Mexican restaurant on same property, Staff friendly and helpful.

Centrally located to Jerome, Prescott, and Sedona. Personnel at hotel friendly and helpful. Room comfortable. Close to restaurants.

Rooms were clean, very easy to find, a lot of variety for breakfast.

This hotel/motel is a typical 1970s/1980s construction. The beds were nice, as were the showers (no issue with hot water running out, and the water-flow was nice). The staff is very nice and helpful. The downside is that the ac/heater is LOUD, and the WiFi are located inside some rooms, so when the room's resident thinks they need to plug something in more than they need WiFi, you lose your connection and have to go the lobby to get online (unless you're in the building attached to the office -- rooms 101-112/201-212. The breakfast also needs to drop the pre-prepped cheese omelets (only cheese) and either go with just scrambled eggs, or allow the attendant to make omelets to order. It's very close to Sanoma. All-in-all, though, it's well-worth the price.

The hotel was okay, worth what we paid, but the service was awesome! The breakfast was delish and the lady who served it was fantastic!

We had a great experience staying at the Best Western in Cottonwood. The staff was friendly and the room was clean...and the location was fantastic!

The hotel was ok, but just as my wife and I were just about to fall asleep, another couple burts open our door only to be stopped by the security latch. Seems the desk clerk gave them our room key instead of the key two rooms down. When confronted the desk clerk didn't think it was any big deal and she told me that she straighten it all out. Yes she did, because she canceled the room key and also canceled our keys. So when Ii went for coffee in the morning I couldn't get back in and had to wake my wife.

First impression..... the girl at check in. Very friendly and helpful. The room was okay. Could use some updating. The pillows were awful. Each bed had four and they were square and reminded me more of sofa throw pillows than bed pillows. The light in the bathroom was weird. It wasn't very bright but the longer I sat there, the brighter it got. All in all, we needed the room to sleep and we slept. We would stay there again but I would bring my own pillow next time.

Excellent stay! Enjoy our trip very much. Great breakfast at the hotel. And highly recomend the mexican restaurant next to it, plaza bonita!

No elevators so request a ground floor if you have lots of luggage. Nice views from the back building. Restaurants are walking distance.

The bed was great, big and firm like I like it. The water pressure was good and the room was clean. We enjoyed the spa a lot. The TV reception has issues. Fuzzy and snowy for the most part. PPS was the only clear channel. Other than the TV thing, this is a great hotel.

This was a wonderful place. We where doing a two day raod trip to Prescott, Jerome and Sedona. Clean friendly and a great location.

The hotel met our needs. The reception staff was very friendly and make a good recommendation to a nearby restaurant for dinner.

Every day starting with check in there were problems. Staff was not friendly and made you feel as if they did not care if you were there or not. Everyday we had to request shampoo or tissues, etc, They provided breakfast but the food was cold and had no taste. We went to other restaurants instead. We won't stay there again and it gives Best Western a bad name,

We enjoyed our stay as it was close to where our family lives and our stay was comfortable. However, we did not have a roll in shower for my disabled husband and it was too dangerous for me to try to put him in the tub, there for I had to give him sponge baths while there. The breakfast was very nice and the room was very clean.

We have stayed at the Best Western before and like the location. So far it is a little better than another brand name lodging establishment nearby. Cottonwood's Old Town is really blooming and it would be nice to have some nicer, up-to-date lodging to look forward to as we visit the wineries at least 4 times a year. The Best Western could use a makeover; it is sufficient for a 1 night quick trip.
