Our room was very cozy and comfortable. The bed, pillows, towels, carpet...all of it was comfortable, clean and in great condition. Glad we chose this hotel.

Hotel staff was warm & inviting. Super clean room. Quick check in & out. Great restaurants in the Irvington neighborhood and right on the rail line to downtown , train station, or airport. Will stay again.

The Double Tree by Hilton Portland is located downtown and is convenient to get to. The room was small, but very comfortable. The service from the staff was amazing, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only negative remarks I have is that our room was located near an elevator so it was pretty loud (especially if there is a convention in the hotel). Also, you can hear water running when other rooms take showers. Overall, it was a good room for the price and location.

Very nice - a 9 block walk o my conference through a lovely neighborhood of office buildings, beautiful landscape, shoping & restaurants. Very good public transportation if I had chosen to visit places further away. I would definitely stay there again.

We booked for a quick family getaway, and I was so perplexed by design elements of the room. The hotel is older, and the doors have at least a full inch gap, through which not only light but every sound from the hallway comes all night long. I've never stayed in a hotel with that much space beneath the doorways. Secondly, there were no towel racks. There were only two hooks in the bathroom -- thick hooks on which the towels wouldn't stay. So if you hung up towels, they stayed wet. And the shower door swung open *against* the hook instead of opening toward the hook (where you could reach out and grab the towel). It was just weird and completely illogical. Also, in this day and age (and for those prices) wi-fi should be free. I couldn't believe they charged per day for wi-fi in the rooms. Unfortunately, our stay coincided with a junior beauty pageant, so the hotel was swarming with skinny, tall twelve-year-olds in makeup to look 18. But that's not the hotel's fault.

We only stayed one night to attend a concert at the Rose Garden. From the moment we arrived and were handed the warm chocolate chip cookies, we felt at ease and welcomed. Our room was facing the park so it was a nice view to have, the room was clean and had everything we needed. The walls are thick, we never heard anyone with the exception of the repair guy who started working on the room across the hall from us and woke us up at 8am...that was pretty annoying, couldn't they schedule him to start working at 10 instead? Anyway, the MAX line goes by right in front of the hotel and that's how we moved around Portland that day, so convenient! overall our stay was great, the bed was comfy, the room quiet and we will definitely stay there again when we travel down to Portland.

Comfortable, spacious rooms. Great hotel lounge. Right across the street from the Lloyd Center. Would definitely stay there again!

This is a great hotel! I stayed here overnight when I was in Portland for a concert. Very convenient to the venue, neat place to stay. Loved the cookie at check-in, and my bed was so comfortable! I'll be back!

Our room was appropriate for the price range we paid; however the location of our room was subpar. We were given the room at the end of the hallway right next to the ice maker and elevators. There was a beauty pageant going on in the hotel-the hallways were loud with the families of the pageant contestants-wonder why they werent given one of thse rooms?

Right off the red line, easy access to airport and downtown. Shopping across the street and plenty of good local eateries a couple blocks away. Hotel staff were very helpful and the cookies upon check-in are very tasty. Downside, room with only queen bed was small. Traveling with an infant and very little room to setup her crib. No refrigerators in room either. Overall satisfied and would stay here again.

Place was good for one day get away. I book for a regular queen size bed. The bedroom door looks old and so was the bathroom door. Over all the room was neat and clean. You could hear everything that was outside the door kind of hard to sleep. I would come back again but maybe I'll book for a bigger room. So the bed wouldn't be too near to the entrance bedroom door. The park near by hotel was kinda of creepy. We had a guy came up to us trying to sale us drugs. So we left the park and Google a different location for park.

A great place to stay while in Portland. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, service was excellent. Convenient to public transportation, or a 5 minute drive by car into downtown area. I would definitely stay there again.

They went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable

My only complant would be that one of the pillows for the bed looked moldy and stained.

great clean pace to stay. not far from down town. Cab only $7. the room smelled great. beds was comfy

I stayed here and I felt like the hotel was too much for they gave me. There was no fridge to put my dinner and no microwave. The trashcans had no liners which made it inconvenient to throw sticky things away. Parking was 9 dollars a night and I had to put a $50 deposit on the room when I checked in. But hey free cookies!

Love the Double Tree!!! Yes, the room was small, but for two people is was perfect! Bed was completely comfortable. The only draw back was there was no hairdryer in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Coffee cart was excellent!!! Will definitely stay here again very soon.

We stay here almost everytime we come to Portland. We have ventured out and stayed in a couple other hotels but we keep coming back to this one. It's quieter than the downtown hotels and close to the max that will take you downtown. The surrounding neighborhood seems great; we like to walk around and there is a lovely park across the street. Parking is more reasonable that the downtown hotels that we have stayed in. Staff are helpful and all the rooms we have stayed in have been warm and comfortable. I love this town and love staying in this hotel :)

It was lovely. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Great fireplace and food in the lobby. Would have liked a fridge in the room, but other than that, it was perfect!

From the second we checked in to the moment we left service was that of a much higher priced hotel. My wife and I felt like we made a wrong turn and ended up in Vegas. Kudos to the staff. Super.

Convenient to meeting location and major freeways. Price was reasonable, but paying $9 for parking was outrageous. The staff checking us in were very helpful, but the process and parking while checking in was a fiasco. The bar help was awesome, friendly, knowledgeable and funny. The desserts were great after a yummy dinner out at McMennimans.

Was a most enjoyable stay. The bed was comfortable. Very low water pressure in the shower. The staff was very friendly. We asked the front desk person about getting around downtown and she gave us a map with the train lines marked on it. She should have told us that the downtown area is no longer a free zone as it states on the map. So my suggestion is either get new maps, or tell guests that it is no longer a free ride.

It was a great stay, recommend this hotel.

This is a nice property, but it is surrounded on two sides by the MAX line. Be prepared to hear the trains come through every ten minutes from 5:30 am to 12:30 am the next day on weekdays. We could hear them clearly on the 10th floor and could even see a vibration in a glass of water. They nickle and dime you for everthing - wireless Internet has a fee unless you are in the Hilton Honors program, parking has a fee which is doubled on Friday & Saturday nights, and breakfast was not included in our rate (apparently it may be in some, but not what was offered through Hotels.com reservations). This is approximately a ten minute brisk walk to the main convention center, but it is just across from the Lloyd Center mall. Overall I was disappointed and will not stay here again.

we got the room for our Bob Seger Concert and had a wonderful time...we would stay here again....very nice... =]

Super clean and nice and modern hotel. Everything was great. Parking was a little bit expensive and no free valet though.
