Hotel was fine, clean, but old. The staff was unprepared for our visit but did his best to accommodate us. We passed on the free breakfast.

We recently checked in late, a stop over on our trip. It was a 95 degree day, and our room was sweltering upon arrival. The air conditioner blew cool air, but not cold enough to cool off the room. The room remained hotter than the hotel hallway our entire stay. Also, there is no elevator so if you have a lot of stuff like we did, you might want a first floor room. Otherwise, the room was clean, and the breakfast filling.

Great value for the price. Excellent breakfast is included in price.

The staff was great...especially the lady cleaning the room and the maintenance man ( He brought a refrigerator and microwave to our room when we ask him if he thought we could be moved to a room with those amenities!) We booked 4 nights there and prepaid so had no choice to stay but the room was very uncomfortable. Old stained carpets, looked like mildew om the mattresses, old musky smell, etc. We will not be staying here again and it really is a shame because the staff was very nice and the location was perfect! They did have Wifi!! Lots of pillows with nice white sheets and pillow cases!! The parking lot was empty all 4 nights we were there!!! Again....LOVE THE STAFF!! :)

I just stayed for 1 night and it was a plesant experience.

Ice machine was broken and no available ice.

the ice machine was not working on either floor..very inconvenient. Thank God it was not summer!

good location

Clean, Quiet, close to activities

Needed to stop for the night on my way to the Outer Banks for business. Couldn't have picked a better place. Very safe, clean and comfortable. Just the perfect distance between home and NC. Great rate and diner next door for breakfast. One stop and on the road again. Thanks, I'll stop again.

Out of the 6 days of traveeeling my Wife and I had done that week, this was undoubtably the best hotel we stayed at that week. Very friendly reception and the room was very clean and the beds made feel like I was on a cloud. Great stay !

clean, well maintained, comfortable bed. Would recommend to anyone.

The first room I was given felt wet and smelled moldy. There was a water stain and mold growing on the bathroom ceiling The air conditioner didn't seem to take any moisture out of the air. I immediately went to the front desk and was told they were completely booked. In the morning I went back to the front desk and magically, when they found out I had booked through Expedia, another room was available. Since I was staying multiple nights, I was more than willing to move my belongings. The second room was updated, clean and up to the standard I would expect.

Hotel was clean, quiet (even with a full house) and had a good continental breakfast.

OK but A/C on full and room too cold when arrived. Handle for sink faucet loose. Bed was comfortable. Clock was unplugged. Shower was good but shower curtain not the best at keeping water contained to inside the tub. Musty smell to room. Desk clerk was friendly and professional. Breakfast was adequate although larger coffee cups would have been appreciated. The facility served my needs.

Spent a night en route south. Clean and quiet, had coffee and continental breakfast in the morning. Decent price, on par with other Best Westerns we've stayed at. Just what we needed for a quick overnight on road trip.

location is ideal, right on rt.13. room was clean and i could park right in front of my door. friendly staff. excellent diner (Sage Diner) next door.

Very comfortable, clean and quiet with helpful staff. WiFi worked extremely well. Complimentary breakfast OK for the price. In the morning, however, there was no hot water so showered and shaved with luke warm water which is why I gave a 3-star rating. Did mention the issue to the lady at the front desk.

We enjoyed the hotel, it was clean and nice. Unfortunately there was no WiFi available that day.

Motel room smelled very musty. Staff was nice. Breakfast was ok.

Mrs. Yvonne was great at the front desk. It all went well.

The entire staff were exceptionally nice and efficient, particularly the woman in charge of the breakfast. The room was very clean, although the carpet could use a shampoo or replacement. And the breakfast was very good for this level of hotel. BUT I could have gone across the street and paid the same money and been in a very up to date room. The internet is not wireless and requires a cord, which they will provide upon asking. But it was still difficult to connect with because of the antiquated wiring system. The shower had very little pressure and was difficult to control the hot/cold. The room was also either cold with the air on or warm with the air turned down....It was hard to find a comfortable, happy medium. For my $ I wish I'd been across the street. Oddly, one of the reasons I chose this hotel was so I would be driving in the correct direction when it was time to leave.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. EVERYONE IS VERY FRIENDLY THERE. WE HAD DOUBLE BOOKED ONE OF THE ROOMS. THE CHECK IN CLERK HELPED UP TO GET IT ALL STRAIGHTENED OUT. THANK YOU SO MUCH. ALL OF THE STAFF IS SO GREAT.

The wall paper was coming off one of the walls in the bathroom as well as a hole in a wall.

Worst hotel ever, room was smelly,damp, and the pool was empty and dirty. Very outdated hotel. Had to access room from outside nowhere near our parked car. Should have been cheapee than it was not what they charged. We booked it because of the pool. Very unhappy. Bad way to start our vacation on the way to OBX

Room had everything I wanted for a one night stay. Room was clean and well kept. Front Desk was fast and very helpful about the area places to eat.

Great hotel with all the accomodations i needed to make home away from home comfortable. Staff very pleasant, quiet hotel in a nice neighborhood. Plenty of eatery and shopping nearby, also has restaurant next to hotel. I will definitely stay again.
