Best Western Hotel Orion - בודפשט

המלון ממוקם בין הטירה ובין Gellert Hill. הרחוב שהוא נמצא בו אינו במצב טוב, אבל המלון עצמו גדול ונקי. זהו בעיקר מקום לשהות בו - לא לגור בו, ויש מאחוריו מספר מסעדות שאפשר לאכול בהן ארוחת ערב או לשתות.

שהינו במלון הזה מספר ימים בדצמבר, והוא היה מושלם עבורנו. המנהל והצוות היו יוצאים מן הכלל, ולא הפסיקו לעזור. הם היו אדיבים מאוד וסייעו לנו מעל ומעבר. המיקום שלו טוב מאוד, מעבר לנהר מבניין הפרלמנט עם תחנת חשמלית כמעט מחוץ לדלת, שמגיעה אל כל הנתיבים הראשיים. אני בהחלט אשמח לשוב לכאן!

מאז שהגענו, התרשמנו מהצוות ומהשירות. שירות החשמלית קרוב מאוד ומספק תחבורה מצוינת או קישורים לכל האיזורים בעיר. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה טעימה. צוות המלון מועיל מאוד ועזר עם הסידורים בעקבות בעיה עם כייס בעיר.

המלון קרוב לדנובה ולגשר אליזבת. הצוות ידידותי ומסייע והציע עצות שימושיות לגבי מסעדות ומקומות ללכת אליהם. החדרים בגודל סביר והם נקיים ללא רבב. הייתה לנו ארוחת בוקר טובה בכל בוקר. מיזוג האוויר היה מעט רועש אבל נדרש לעבוד שעות נוספות בגלל גל חום של 41 מעלות. אני לא מצפה שזו תהיה בעיה בדרך כלל. אל תצפו ליוקרה אבל למלון יש את כל מה שרוב האנשים היו רוצים - חדרים נקיים, צוות ידידותי ומיקום טוב.

המלון הזה היה מעולה מכל הבחינות, חוץ מאחת. כשהייתי שם היה חם מהרגיל בבודפשט, והמזגן התאמץ כדי לשמור את החדר מספיק קר. חוץ מזה המלון היה נפלא. הצוות היה מאוד מועיל.

זו הייתה שהות מאוד מאוד נחמדה במהלך ביקורנו בבודפשט. הבעיה היחידה שאיתה התמודדנו הייתה שלא מצאנו את המלון כשהגענו. היינו צריכים לקחת את האוטובוס הנכון ולרדת במקום הנכון. צוות המלון מאוד מועיל ומנומס :) לחדר האמבטיה הייתה בעיה קטנה שכן לא הצלחנו לסגור אותו כיאות אבל סך הכל מצב החדר היה בסדר. ארוחת הבוקר מאוד נחמדה גם כן. מאוד מומלץ.

מלון במקום מאוד מרכזי קרוב לגדות הנהר. הדיור היה מושלם בשביל הפגישות שלי במסעדת taban terasz שבקירבת מקום ( 20 מטרים ). למרות שלא מפורסם, ישנם מספר מקומות חניה בטוחים ממש מול המלון. מרקו.

Orion הוא נקודת מוצא מצוינת, סופר יעיל, נקי, נוח, ארוחת בוקר טובה, ממוקם מרכזית בשביל סיורים באזור, במיוחד אם אתה מצטייד בנעלי הליכה טובים ( הוא עצמו לא במרכז הפעילות, למרות שישנם מספר מסעדות וברים לא רחוקים ). הבניין עצמו ותוכו יותר פונקציונלים מאשר מקסימים, אבל סך הכל אין בשום אופן תלונות עם מלון Orion כנקודת מוצא בשביל לחקור את בודפשט.

מלון עם קבלת פנים חמה וצוות מועיל. החדרים קטנים אך נקיים ונוחים. ארוחת הבוקר טובה מאוד, קפה ותה זמינים 24 שעות. מיקום ליד גשר Elizabeth. קל לחקור את Buda מהמלון. אמליץ בחום על המלון וצוותו.

שהות מאוד נעימה במלון זה. הצוות היה מועיל וידידותי במיוחד. החדר היה נקי ומאובזר היטב. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה טובה מאוד עם בייקון מטוגן וביצים לפי הזמנה טעימים. המיקום טוב בשביל המרכז ההיסטורי של Buda אבל רוב המסעדות, פעילויות, וכו' הינם ב- Pest, מעבר לגשר כך שאורחים צריכים להחליט באיזה צד של הנהר הם רוצים להיות. 15 דקות הליכה לספא Gellert שעליו אני ממליץ בהחלט.

Fantastic location if you want to explore the city on foot. Staff very friendly andd helpful.Only downside is there is no bar in which to sit and unwind in the evening after a days walking (but there is a bar just around the corner!)

It is a well located hotel with friendly people and great location close to castle and thermal spa. I appreciate small scale of this hotel, as different to most chains.

Hotel security SUKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! They compromise your stay and they don't care about your security!!!! I do not recomend this hotel at al!!!!!

The only concern is the size of the bathroom.

The only concern was the size of the bathroom and no space to put your clothes while you take the shower.

Great base to explore numerous landmarks! The only thing they could improve is to provide air freshener in the bathroom

Nice rooms and clean with friendly staff. Less than a block from the Danube and close to Buda Castle and the Chain Bridge. Some but not many restaurants in the immediate area but 15 minute walk over the Chain Bridge to the Pest side of the city and you will find numerous restaurants. Would return to stay at this hotel.

Nice hotel with excellent staff

Unfortunately it is not possible to open the windows. Air-condition is set in winter and summer month to a standard and centrally distributed degree, for me it was too warm and therefore uncomfortable in the night. Would have returned if this issue would not exist.

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is beginning to look tired - especially the bathroom. The thingy that opens/closes the plug is loose and the towel rail next to the washbasin is in poor condition (room 41). Breakfast was fine - remember to ask for eggs and bacon to be cooked for you. No noise from outside nor the lift next to the room. For most of the time the wifi connection was very poor and slow but was ok on the last evening. Position is fine - you'll pay more to be in the middle of Pest.

This was an awesome location. The price was very reasonable and the rooms were very nice. Everything is walking distance. No wifi in the 5th floor, but not a big deal.

Location on the Buda side was okay, not a bad walk to center but did have to cross the bridge or take a bus. Hotel was very nice. Friendly service. Room was comfortable, bathroom was small with a very good shower.

I really liked this hotel. You are very close to the Elizabeth Bridge to get to Downtown Pest, and you are just a short walk from Buda Castle. The room is big by European standards and I think if you book early enough, it is very affordable. The staff is nice and if you need water or a soda, the mini-bar is relatively cheap.

Nothing to complain about...the room was a little tiny but comfortable and clean. Perfect location to walk and visit the cty.

It was a nice stay and good value for the money. The staff was very kind. The walk from the hotel to the dead center of the city is quite okay.

well located on the Buda side. Less than 100yds to the Danube. Easy walk to the Pest side of the river. Friendly and attentive staff, nice breakfast. Only real complaint would be the a/c.It was barely able to keep the room tolerable. Would not recommend staying here in warm weather.

The exterior of the hotel could do with a bit of face-lift, however the interior of the hotel is spotlessly clean and whilst the room and in particular the bathroom was small it was more than adequate for a sightseeing break. The hotel is very close to all the sights of Budapest and we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The continental breakfast was very good and there is someone to cook your eggs for you, which is nice. There is no facility to make tea or coffee in the rooms, however, the dining room is available all day where you can make tea and coffee. There is no bar in the hotel but the rooms have a mini bar. The hotel staff were very friendly and pleasant and had good English. All in all this hotel is great value for money and whilst it is not a luxury hotel it is a great base for seeing Budapest. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a central, inexpensive and clean accommodation for a city break

Nice boutique type hotel. Clean and well maintained. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Great restaurants close by. Within walking distance of downtown, turkish bathhouses, the citadel, buses and trolleys. A good deal. .

I'm a single female who doesn't mind walking, so it was perfect. It's located about 2 miles from the Keltic station on the other side of the Elizabeth's bridge. Every day, I saw the river, the bridges, the Gilbert Hill. its' within walking distance of EVERYTHING, including the Szyechi bathhouse and Castles. The breakfast is amazing- fresh eggs, fresh juice, tea selection. The staff is so friendly. The rooms are big, tvs, radios, free internet, large bathrooms. Its near a church so there are some bells, but they arent too disruptive. It's close to a trams stops as well, if you don't want to walk.

Clean. Modern. Comfortable. Accomodating Staff. Tea at anytime. Great Breakfast and nice room. They'll make you an egg dish of your choice. Maids were outstanding. Quiet at night. Two trams converge outside. Easy and quick to Pest. (If you are only staying a night or two, you should book in Pest unless its Buda you really want to see.) For the price, the amenities and location can't be beat.

The hotel is located in a great location, within walking distance of most anything you want to see. The bathroom is very small but functional, staff was very helpful and pleasant, location, again was great, and will go back there if ever in Budapest.

visited nov 2010. i found the hotel very clean,room was spacious and comfortable,breakfast good and the staff friendly and helpful .located on the buda side of the river and in walking distance of the castle and the ciyt centre.over all this is a small friendly hotel in a quiet location but close to all amenities with frequent trams and buses running with stops less than 50 metres away.i give it ten out of ten and fully recommend to anyone.

All in all an excellent choice for a short city trip to Budapest: friendly and competent staff, great filling breakfast, clean rooms, convenient location in walking distance from major attractions (bus and tram stops are also not far away...). The only negative point are the maybe somewhat "thin" doors and room walls: if noisy people arrive late it wakes up the whole floor... We would choose this hotel again if we ever come back to Budapest.

I really can't fault the room, which was comfortable and spacious, or the breakfast which had choices for all tastes, but the location in Buda isn't ideal. There are bus and tram lines close by, but only two or three restaurants and those at the expensive end, and few shops south of the chain bridge. The hotel also backs onto a church with a bell which chimes the hours, which may not suit everybody.

An enjoyable place to stay. Relatively inexpensive, friendly staff and excellant location

The Orion is a small hotel 1 block from the Danube and tram stop and walking distance to the Citadel, Liberty Monument, Taban Church and Museum. The staff is friendly and trilingual (English, German and Hungarian). Rooms are small but clean and modern. Breakfast was GREAT.

Location was excellent for accessing the Buda Palace, museums and Fisherman's Bastion. Easy walking distance to sites in Pest via either the Elizabeth or Chain bridge. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast options; loved the cheese omelets and selection of breads.

Dieses Haus kann ich für eine Budapestreise bestens empfehlen. Es liegt verkehrsgünstig zwischen Ketten- und Elisabethbrücke auf budaer Seite. Viele atraktive Ziele können von hier zu Fuß erreicht werden. Das Empfangspersonal sprach deutsch und war sehr hilfsbereit bei der Suche nach einer Atraktion. Bei einen erneuten Besuch würde ich es wieder buchen.

Номера в отеле тихие и уютные. Окна некоторых номеров выходят на уютный церковный дворик. В номере есть чайник и кофе. Вход в замок Буды прямо за отелем, до Пешта 15 минут пешком по мосту с прекрасными видами города.
