Holiday Inn Express London Chingford - לונדון

I was in Walthamstow for a business event and booked the hotel based on location, price and previous stays in similar hotels. The room was very clean, large and comfortable and facilities were good. I would stay here again.

I stayin holiday inns worldwide so they are pretty much the same?

Really nice hotel. The rooms were excellent, cleaned every day really well. The only issue we had was with the shower but otherwise we were happy with the room. In terms of location it is a good distance from a tube station if you are travelling without a car. However there are regular buses accross the road and the receptionists were helpful in telling us what we needed to know. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would come again!

Hotel location was ideal for us even though it was on what seemed like an industrial area. Hotel it self was lovely, clean and comfortable. Staff were very polite and dealt with any issues we had swiftly. Only down side was the lack of hot vegetarian food at breakfast. We could only have beans on toast. All in all we enjoyed our staff and would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Stay was great, and the hotel was in close proximity to public transport which made travel around London easy to do. The fact that there was a large Sainsbury across the carpark was excellent. The rooms were extremely clean and daily housekeeping ensured that the room and facilities remained clean. Breakfast was in abundance and served hot. An iron in the rooms would have been a bonus, rather than having to ask at reception and queue for the use of an iron.

I found everything to be very clean , friendly and satisfactory. Would stay again

Overall very good hotel, quite satisfied, I would have rated it 5 stars if it wasn't for the air conditioning which only blows cold air no mater how much you increase the temperature it stays cold, had to switch it off completely to be able to sleep, it felt a bit cold at night 18*C!

I chose this hotel as I was going to a match at Spurs. The hotel is clean & comfortable, and if you don't mind curt staff it's fine. If you want anything to do near the hotel, though, you are restricted to the neighbouring Sainsbury's or getting minicabs.

Considering it's next to the A406 North Circ, it's reasonably quiet. My only concern was the heating/cooling - the rooms have a combined heater/aircon unit which is a bit noisy for my liking whether it's heating or cooling. Breakfast nothing to write home about. These small points would not stop me from staying again.

it will be advantageous if there is no charges for the WIFI at the room.breakfast is very basic. But over all it is good value for money

Perfect location for trip to Spurs. Close to bus stops and rail links. Clean hotel very relaxing with a good breakfast.

Could of done with a slightly bigger room for a family of 4 but overall the staff were very helpfull and the hotel was clean

The Hotel was lovely and clean and staff were very helpfull and friendly. The breakfast was not very nice where was the bacon?

We were put in a disabled room without explanation. Then when we tried to ring reception we didn't get a response- twice. Room and holiday were very clean and pleasant on the whole..

Stay was perfectly fine, but there is no restaurant working there on a friday night. They do however let you order a take-away and have it delivered to eat using their plates and cutlery (in the bar area) which is a good idea. We had chinese and it was lovely. The take-away menus are in the reception. There's no-where else to eat within walking distance around the hotel, so this is the best option if you don't want to go back out in the car again. It's close to Walthamstow dog track, but tha's about it. No problems in general - as expected.

Functional, basic hotel. Expected three beds, got two doubles. Didn't make an issue of it but should have, after bad night's sleep.

Hotel was clean, near to a supermarket and in a location that was easy to get to where I was working - Cant really fault it, Breakfast was OK too

Working in Walthamstow for two weeks - chose this hotel as not much other choice in area. Fantastic location just off North Circular, but once you're in your room you wouldn't know it. Very comfortable, reasonable rates, but you will need to drive to get anywhere! Plenty of breakfast, not a fantastic choice of cooked food (sausage, beans, scrambled eggs) but decent range of drinks and continental selection. Evening meal was disappointing - cost quite a bit for fish and chips and a beer. But, if you're prepared to do it, Sainsbury's is just across the car park which has a fantastic cafe with a decent range. To be honest, evening meal was the only downside to the hotel. Friendly staff, check in and check out very efficient, clean, modern, comfortable - would not hesitate to stay there again!

The hotel has plenty of onsite free car parking, which is a major plus for hotels around London. Staff were always friendly and helpful, quick check-in. Selection for breakfast was good, (hot option included scrambled eggs,beans and sausage). Rooms were spacious and clean, and quiet. What did let the hotel down was the range and price of evening meals, there wasn't much on offer, and it looked like it had come straight out of the freezer into the oven, and the price for the level of quality was over the top. There isn't much in the way of restaurants around the hotel (I wouldn't walk around the area at night), but there is great Sainsburys Supermarket Cafe next door, with cheap good quality meals (about 50% of Holiday Inn prices), which is fine if you're on a budget and not too picky about eating at a Supermarket.

Hotel was great, we were almost 2 hours early for check in which was not a problem and was immediately given a room key and clear directions to get to the room. Bar and reception very clean as was the rest of the hotel. Receptionist very helpful and called us a cab with very preferential rates to THFC (£5-£10 less than other firms I'd checked with). Bed extremely comfy and nice sized room. Bathroom a bit bizarre, I lost my partner in the loo, the door closes in 2 positions and I was unaware!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was brilliant for what i needed and paid and I certainly will stop here again!

If you're counting on a wake up call from this facility, I suggest bringing your own alarm clock. I received only 50% of the wake up calls requested. Thankfully I was on holiday and not due to be at a major deal breaking meeting! Otherwise, friendly enough staff. It was clean. Good complimentary breakfast. Large Sainsbury within walking distance.

Hotel was clean , breakfast excellent , large grocery store close by , staff great , pull out sleeper sofa 3" mattress , not to comfortable . 10 min cab ride to tube , only 5 pounds . 40 min train ride into heart of city . If u don't mind commute , the hotel is great !

The room was just sufficent for self and two grandsons but smug. Also asked for a move and nothing arranged alought stay three night. No nearby resturants and hotel a bit isolated alought the neighood a safe one with good bug service to Whathamstow Tub Center.

The hotel's location close to Walthamstow Central‎, the end station of the Jubilee line on the London Underground, makes this an excellent choice for a family visit to London at a reasonable rate. Day tickets to the TFL for zones 1 - 4 will take you to between the hotel and all of central London. Compared to London prices in general, the prices here are very reasonable. You get what you pay for, and unless you want to spend all day at the room, the comfort is fine. A host of reasonably priced restaurants can be found within walking distance from the hotel.

Room was really tiny for the four of us (wife + 2 teenage boys). Reminded us of our room on a Royal Caribbean cruise we had taken few years back. It's not that we had a lot of luggage either. Just one 25" and two 21" suitcases. Breakfast was fine. Location from central London was OK. You can take a local bus or taxi (5 pounds) to Walthamstow Central tube stop. The bus stop is conveniently located and really there to serve a super market that's right behind the Holiday Inn. The tube/metro pass we purchased also covered usage of the bus so no extra expense there. Allow about an hour from the hotel to central London.

nice hotel-near the road, but surprisingly quiet. HAs a microwave aND ICEW MACHINE FOR GUESTS USE- SO CONVIENT- AND A WELL STOCKED BAR, AND FRIENDLY STAFF

hotel has microwave for guests use- and as next to sainsbury, makes for an easy and cheap evening meal! broadband only free in lobby area, and of a poor quality comfortable bed, and very quiet in the hotel. hotel staff with one exception very helpful and friendly

really helpful staff. room is basic/minimal, noisy- neighbours partying til 3am and paper-thin walls. breakfast was value brand type food, but plentiful wi-fi was not working

we went to the theatre in wimbledon on the friday night and wanted somewhere to stay that was near to a tube station and the m11. considering the hotel is based just off the A406 there was no noise from the road as the hotel has been well sound proofed. The beds were very comfy with a choice of pillow type (soft or firm - this was a nice touch!). The breakfast was continental but sausages, scrambled egg and toast was provided - all very tasty. overall very happy with the hotel and will be booking again in the near future.

Fint hotel. Venligt personale. Placeret lige ved siden af en stor dagligvarebutik, som har åben til kl. 20. Venligt personale på hotellet, men der var lidt langt ind til centrum af London. Nemt at komme til med bil fra Stansted airport.

Zeer net hotel. Uitstekend prijs/kwaliteits niveau inclusief ontbijt hulpvaardige vriendelijke medewerkers. locatie vanaf london centrum goed te bereiken via metro tot waltham station daarna vanaf dit station met de bus naar de halte waltham stadium. (hotel ligt aan de overkant). Hotel ligt op ongeveer 45 minuten reistijd vanaf london centrum.

bon ensemble , trés bon petit déjeuner ,copieux , personnel sympathique un petit bémol , un peu loin du centre de londres bus 20 minutes + métro 30 minutes au minimun
