Milton Motel Hershey - הרשי

I only stayed a night, but it wasnt a horrible place for the price. There was a tile missing in the bathroom. I would go again for a night or two. I would stay there for a lengthy vacation. Just not that kind of hotel for that.

Very friendly and helpful staff. That makes all the difference.

Nice and quiet, staff very caring.

When we arrived in the room there was someone's hair all over the bed. There was trash on the nightstand. I picked the phone up to call the office and found the phone not working. No, towels were in the room but someone's dirty soap was in the bathroom. The TV was very fuzzy and the sound kept fading. Even the toilet paper holder was ripped from the wall. I was also told I needed to pay for my room which I told him that I already paid. He told me that I only gave my credit card to hold the room. The hallways had ripped carpet and you had to be careful that you would not trip. It was by far the worse place I ever stayed.

The location was ideal especially with the restaurant next door. There was a tile missing from the ceiling in the bathroom probably due to a plumbing repair upstairs but that was the only negative. The room was clean and tidy. Decent sat TV service but the wireless signal was very low. Probably too few access points.

the motel is set to be renovated soon. It was clean, right next to a great resturant and only about 10 mins from hershey park it had a fridge and microwave cable and dvd player. Heat lamp in bathroom. There was a problem with the air conditioner and the bed was hard as a rock. The staff was great. Friendly and entertaining. Coffee was great but plan on going somewhere else for breakfast as the continental breakfast left much to be desired, For the price...I would stay again but bring a mattress topper.

The staff was very nice. The location was great. The decor was old and outdated. The King mattress was very old and very uncomfortable.

We enjoyed being close to Hershey Park, but the motel itself was a bit of a dump. Not clean, smelly, with a dirty pool. Listed accomodations included DVD player, but none was provided. Refused extra towels to bring to the pool, had to haggle with the manager for them. Wi-fi did not work in the room. Unsatisfactory.

OK, I really wasn't expecting anything fancy. I normally stay with my kids at hotels in the La Quinta or Best Western range. And normally I am not the type to write negative reviews. But here are some of the things that bugged me about this place. They state in the office that they charge extra for children (but during online booking that was not stated). The plumbing in the shower was loose and wiggly and only semi-functional, there was no fan in the bathroom, there were only two bath towels provided (no washcloths, no bath mat, no hand towels, no Kleenex), and the office was closed when we arrived at 7 pm to check in. The key was left in an envelope with our name on it. By mistake we put the key in the room next door to ours, and it opened that room too. The TV only worked on one channel. (I'm not a big TV watcher, but for others this might be an issue.) The breakfast was minimal and only available for 2 hours. There are no pool towels. My kids called it the "Creepy Motel." The only thing truly positive I can say about this place was that the beds were comfortable and the location was convenient to Hershey Park.

It was brief yet pleasant. Office staff very friendly. continental breakfast was appreciated!

the motel was older it could use some TLC and updating but the location was good could get around easily w were right around a few good Diners I reccomend the Filling Station if your hungry locals abound and the prices were great skip the Hershey Pantry overpriced and the peach pie was lousy

I was very pleased at how accommodating the receptionist was for us. Any needs I had he was happy to oblige.

Overall it was just a place to sleep and shower. The room needed revamping and the ceiling tile in the shower needed to be replaced. Upstairs leak caused tile severe damage. Suspecting mold growing. There were some sort of peanuts under the bed which shows that it was never really cleaned. Wallpaper was peeling and there was a huge crack in the ceiling. The lamp shades were torn and there was a dead moth in the AC unit. For future, I will not be staying here as I didn't feel at all comfortable. I will pay the extra money for hotel slightly outside of town. The only perk was it was close to Hershey Park and Chocolate World.

It was a terrible hotel, dirty, tiles missing on ceiling, not mattress pad on bed, no fitted sheet on bed everything very very old. Asked for non-smoking room and wreaked of smoke, knob broken off (very noisy) air conditioner so couldn't control temp, it was either off or freezing. Did not want to have to stay there after seeing it, but since booked on hotels.com had no choice, there are no refunds. We will never book ahead again sight unseen!!!!

When we arrived, around six pm, the beds were not made, the air conditioner was put into the window with packing tape and cardboard and the dvd player had no wires or play button. They moved us to another room which was better.they had to get me a working dvd player. The ceiling had significant water damage. The mattresses were very comfortable, though the fitted sheets would not stay on. Towels were given at a minimum. If you are not picky and looking for a low price, then it is ok. My main beef is it does not live up to the reviews or the online pics.

not far from hershey park, not in the main part of town, more peaceful, nice pool, great hotel staff and service, would definitely stay there again.

i first stayed at this motel about 4 years ago and was very satisfied. but this time was the complere opposite. it said online we could check in until midnight. we got there around 10:20pm and no one was there. the key was in the mail box. in the morning we were ready to leave and went to the office to check out around 9:45am and no one was there again. in the room.....there was a piece of trash on the desk, mold on the shower curtain. we had a room with 2 double beds but only had 3 towelsand 1 washcloth. there should have been enough for at least 4 people.. only one small bottle of shampoo and dead bolt lock did not work. i will never stay at this motel again.

When I first got there, all was well the location was alright and it seemed safe. Then I got to my room where I had no towels, the deadbolt was broken so my door wasn't secure, and there was trash in my room. The staff was very friendly and gave me towels. I could hear everything that was going on in the room next to me. The bed was incredibly comfortable however. To be honest, I would probably stay there again because for the cost and the location it was very good.

The desk clerk was preoccupied. We had to get another room because water was leaking from the ceiling into the bath tub. Thankful the window opened so we could air the smelly room out.

The hotel was in a great location near Hershey park. Rooms were small but neat. Price was great and located 2minutes from Hershey park. Room had coffee maker! Big plus

Good for overnight stay

nice and feel comfortable close to Hershey park and Outlet stores etc.

We were awaken by sqealing tires and a lady of the night being persuaded out of a room by a pizza.

this was an older hotel with small rooms. it was just my husband and I so the smallness of the room was not that big of a deal. It is an old hotel and the bathroom needs updated. For the price it was clean and in a good location. They guyat the front desk was friendly.

We stayed here for two nights while exploring Hershey. The reception staff were not very polite but we got a room fairly quickly. After lugging our suitcases up the stairs we found that the room was clean and tidy but in poor repair. One of the blankets was ripped and there was a very old rubber bath mat in the bath that should have been chucked out. The coffee maker in the room had coffee, but no cups. There was no wifi that we could use, no breakfast and the parking spots fill up quickly.

The Milton Motel is a quaint little place to rest your head. The price was very reasonable and the facility met our needs.

You get what you pay for. I just wish the hotel room would have been a little cleaner.

No comment, I will not go there again, even with the low cost.

The only thing that this place had going for it was the convenient location. I'm not discriminatory when it comes to hotels/motels, but this one was dirty and run down. It did have a mini fridge, microwave and dusty coffee pot. There was also bagels for breakfast, but I didn't like the looks of the other guest skulking around the motel and didn't sleep well in fear of bed bugs. :( The wifi didn't work also. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to others.

Cheap, clean & friendly

We were greeted and checked in by a woman at the front desk dressed in a blazer - it made me feel like she cared about her job. Our room with a double bed was clean. It was small and simple, but it had everything. I especially enjoyed the heat lamp in the bathroom for my cold morning start. We had shampoo with conditioner. Our shower had great pressure with two settings. Also, there were craisins as a free in-room treat. I would definitely stay here again.

For the price I paid it was great!

We were able to check in early no problem. My husband and I stayed only one night and it was an easy drive to the Renn Faire. Only complaint was being wakened up by voices of people outside on the balcony a couple of times in the middle of the night. Apparently the rooms aren't very soundproof. The restaurant right next door called Dukes is excellent!

THIS MOTEL WAS VERY CLOSE TO HERSHEY PARK, THE ROOMS HAVE EVERYTHING YOU COULD NEED, SUCH AS: CABLE, MIRCOWAVE, REFRIGERATOR, AND A COMFY BED. ONLY THING I WOULD SAY I HAD AN ISSUE WITH IS THAT THE CEILINGIN THE BATHROOM SEEMED TO BE COMING DOWN, BUT OVERALL THE STAY SERVED IT'S PURPOSE...

While I realize it's not a 4-5 star hotel, I still was not totally pleased with the room. We had a no smoking room, but the odor of smoke was VERY heavy when we entered the room. I had to air out my suitcase and bags for a couple of days upon my return home. The continental was about what I expected -- light -- but no covering on the breads provided (bagels, donuts, etc.), so there were flies on those items.

The Motel was under a flood stage at the time we stayed. Despite the flood, the staff was very nice and they made the stay as best as it could be under the circumstance. I wish they had more fruit available for the patrons. If you weren't up very early you missed out on the fruit. I wished there was more parking up front. Otherwise the stay was not bad. The price was affordable. We were able to purchase more products at the expo.

If you overlook the mismatched light bulbs, peeling lamp liners, 1 bag coffee and no cups the room is ok. Upon checking out, the office floor was extremely sticky. Outside of juice and coffee don't count on anything else to eat unless you are there when it is put out.

You could tell that the owner wanted staying at this hotel to be a pleasant experience, but it wasn't. It was inexpensive and convenient, but not clean or kept up well. The breakfast was pitiful. Only stay here if you are really on a budget and need to be in Hershey. Would not spend more than one night.

I liked staying there and service was good but internet connection was practically missing. I don't blame them for it though. I think it had something to do with local internet provider. They might think of changing it - unless there is no choice in their area.
