We enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed three nights. The location is convenient, it is on the Beach! The grounds are gorgeous, and very mature, flowers everywhere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We could walk down the beach, and connect with different resorts that are located next to the Plantation.

The garden view and lanai was nice. I was expecting two double beds, they had only a King. I had to use the sofabed in the Living Room. We were given a "quiet' room far from the street because I requested that for the baby, and they assured me the bar closed at 9pm, however, they didn't mention the noisy bar (sounded like a sports bar) across the street with people cheering late into the night. Luckily it was cool at night and we were able to close the windows, there was no A/C. I was also expecting a washer and dryer in the room, but there wasn't. We had to walk or drive our dirty diapers regularly to the guest laundry at the other end of the complex. The pool was not at an easy walking distance, we had to drive across the street to it away from the beach. The beach area did not have restrooms and we had to change the baby's diapers in a public restroom on the concrete floor. They didn't mention there were steps to get to the room which was difficult with the stroller. They only did the beds and exchanged towels twice in a ten day period and did not do any vacuuming, (that srvice was extra) we had to borrow a vacuum from housekeeping. Given what I have experienced at other places nearby (Sheraton & Marriott), I think it was overpriced.

With a 3 star rating, I was expecting a somewhat tacky resort (similar to the 3 star hotel we stayed at in Waikiki) but I was pleasantly mistaken by the Outrigger Kiahuna! Our condo was tastefully decorated and clean and the resort grounds are perfectly manicured and beautifully situated on the beach. My only complaint would be the construction work that was happening in the condo below us.... Fortunately, Kauai is so beautiful that we were out of the condo most morning before 9am when they started their work and they were done by the time we were back for dinner. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay very much, we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom condo which was amazing! Very clean and comfortable space. Easy access to beach. Exceeded expectations. Only thing we didn't care for was the pool being across the road. Expected more than one pool with so many buildings. But were usually at beach so not a big concern.

When I called two days before my arrival to comfirm the reservation they had me worried, the person at the desk couldn't find my reservation. After a few minutes of fumbling around he told me I was good to go. It was past 7:00pm when I arrived, the property was not well lite at all, couldn't see anything, the whole resort was almost pitch black. Internet connection was terrible, most of the time I was there I had to connect to someone elses Wi-Fi signal in order to get my lab top to work. I did alot of sight seeing, engaged in many other activaties on the island and didn't spend alot of time at the resort, there mostly during the evening hours. The beach area was nice but I later found a location where the locals hung out, the beach a Port Allen, It's worth the trip. Overall It wasn't a bad place to stay, would I come back, probably not many other nice reosrts to choose from in Kauai.

Clean, comfortable, well stocked w/kitchen supplies, everything working, nice surroundings, quiet. A bit of a walk to the beach and swimming pool. Not too big of a problem though. Renting a car was helpful. Grocery store was a bit of a drive but local general store had some food, though not too much. Staff friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay there again!

Very comfortable and upscale accomodations. The beach on the property was great and offered surfing lessons for the kids ($75). It was a little too challenging for me to swim, but the Poipu Beach is close by and very calm. Don't forget to kayak Wailua and drive up Waimai Canyons

far more than i expected for the price, as far as the room and privacy goes. The restaurant was very good, and many good ones nearby. Great amenities- full sized fridge, dishwasher, micro, toaster, coffee,etc- and granite counters = great room - bdrm, living room, large balcony, excellent bathroom - all very clean, nicely appointed. Serious attention payed to massive amounts of gardened grounds. Beautiful grounds. great beach. pool was far away (but who cares?). Only thing needed was bar and restaurant to be open more hours.

Very nice hotel with immaculate grounds. The rooms are nice and spacious. The pool is a bit remote but a nice pool. The pool temperature could have been a little warmer. Happy hour at the pool resturant/bar was nice.

The Outrigger Kiahuna is amazing- fantastic location, amazing amenities, great staff and east access to the whole island. We will be back.

Kiahuna Plantation is a beautiful property with lush well maintained grounds. Walking through the property I was struck by the beauty of the enormous specimen trees and the orchid garden. This is not a sterile corporate style resort, but more, "Old Hawaii". It is the only condo resort on a swimmable beach in the Poipu area. We stayed in a two-bedroom townhouse style, (upstairs and downstairs) unit. I highly recommend these 2 bedroom units, as the one bedroom units are quite small. Our unit, (#64), has a very serene view of the gardens, tulip trees, plumeria trees, palm trees of course, and the beautiful white wooden footbridges that lead to the main lawn and the beach. It had two balconies upstairs, and a private patio off the master bedroom downstairs. (Both bdrms are downstairs-kitchen living, and dining are upstairs with an incredible vaulted ceiling and large private deck with lounges and a dining table). The kitchen is well equipped and includes dishwasher, micro, coffee pot, stove, oven and full sized fridge w/freezer. There is also a stack washer & dryer. The condo, especially upstairs, has a very polynesian feel with grand vaulted ceilings of dark wood, and plantation shutters and wooden louvers on windows. I love it so much, I wanted to buy it. (Can't afford it.) The onsite beach is a crescent shaped beach backed by the lawns and palm trees of the plantation. Beach chairs, drinks and water toys are available at the towel hut next to the beach. The beach is known as a good swimming beach. Our 12 year old, who isn't a strong swimmer, had a blast bobbing around in the water with small waves. The ONLY negative to the property, is that it doesn't have it's own pool. The Kiahuna swim club across the street is included in your stay, but it isn't as nice as most hotel pools for properties of this caliber. It does have a water slide, and our 12 year old didn't care that the pool was surrounded by a chain-link fence, but the pool seemed a bit tired to us. Still, the

This is a great place to bring the kid(s). Easy walking distance to great pool and beach, especially nearby Poipu Beach Park. The play structure there was awesome, and allowed my wife and I to take turns snorkeling. The restaurants are good (stick to the fish entrees, though) and service is warm and friendly. Convenience is this place's middle name! We will be back.

This was our 2nd stay at the Kiahuna Plantation last week. To me, it's a pretty good combination of vacation rentals by owner with some of the conveniences of a hotel. Since they are individual condos, you don't really know what you're getting. On the plus side, the layout of the unit is uniform. The one bedroom condos are nicely laid out maximizing the living/dining area. I don't know if all units adhere to some standards. But, the two times we've stayed (different garden view units), they were both nicely updated with nice kitchens. Also, they did service the room with fresh towels and making up the bed. The unpredictables are that each unit owner equips their place differently. In our case, there was a small closet that had a beach umbrella, a boogie board, a croquet set. The kitchen was fairly spartan with basic dishes for 4. In the cabinets -- not even salt and pepper. So, that's something you can't plan for until you get there. The beach at Kiahuna is a narrow strip, but a very nice beach nonetheless. We also enjoyed the pool that is across the street. Our unit was actually fairly close to the pool. It's a small pool, but our 9-yr old really enjoyed the small waterslide. I recommend the Plantation to anyone who wants to stay in Poipu.

1 ベッドルーム ロイヤル ガーデン ビューに泊りました。１階でしたのでリビングからの庭の景色がとても素敵でした。癒されます。ポイプビーチまで少し距離はありましたが歩いて行けました。施設内のレストランはおいしく、価格も比較的リーゾナブルで雰囲気もいいと思います。ポイプショッピングヴィレッジまでも歩いて行けます。施設の敷地が広いので海側だと少し遠く感じるかもしれません。難点は二人続けてバスタブにお湯を入れると二人目のシャワーの時にお湯が出ず水になってしまったことでした。間隔を空ければ大丈夫そうですが、２日目は一人はシャワーのみにしました。

An diesem Appartment-Hotel gibt es wenig auszusetzen und ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen: Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Appartments sind sauber und voll ausgerüstet für Selbstversorger, der eigene sehr schöne Strand liegt perfekt und am Beachhut bekommt man bequem Sitzstühle und Strandtücher, Schnorchelequipment und Sonnenschirme können gemietet werden. Nebenan liegt das Sheraton für einen abendlichen Cocktail. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen: wenn man ein Appartment in der Nähe der Strasse hat, dann ist man wg. der offenen Fenster nahe dem Strassenlärm. Ansonsten ist die Lage perfekt, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Mycket bra och fint lägenhetshotell, mycket välskött och välutrustade lägenheter. Bodde här med min dotter i 5 nätter och gjorde fina utflykter. Bra med gratis parkering och en liten affär tvärs över gatan. Vill man inte laga maten själv så finns det bra resturanger inom gångavstånd. Detta var vår 3e resa till Hawaii och har aldrig blivit besviken på Outriggers hotel och deras lägenheter.

Très bonnes, si nous retournons au sud de Kauai, nous retournerons sans hésiter.

Vi är familj med två barn 6, 9 år. Mycket nöjda med en vecka här efter att ha bott på 5 andra 4-5 stjärnuga hotell under en månad på Hawaii öarna. Hotellet har absolut bästa läge i Poipu på mycket fin trädgårsomtåde precis vid stranden. Poolen besökte vi aldrig, den ligger avsides. Finns även mycket bra barbecue mökligheter på området, mycket väl underhållet. Bälj om möjligt de dyrare lägenheterna närmare stranden.

Das Hotel ist toll und wir würden es jedem weiterempfehlen. Anlage ist wunderschön, Zimmer 77 gross, sauber, perfekte Meersicht. Es gibt nur zwei Punkte dies negativ waren. 1. kein Sonnenschirm auf Terrasse, deshalb konnte diese nur früh morgens oder abends gebraucht werden. 2. Zimmerreinigung nur alle drei Tage und die zweite Reinigung am Tag 6 von 7 Aufenthaltstagen haben wir nicht bekommen. Abgesehen davon war alles perfekt.

Poipuのコンドには何度か泊まりましたが、このコンドはいい部類だと思います。 しかしLAN環境には不満が残りました。有線のみでしたし、それも1-2度繋がったあと、1週間使えない状況が続きました。近くのスタバのWIFIでなんとか凌ぐことはできました。フロントは接続業者のせいとして、自ら対応することはありませんでした。
