Super 8 Motel - Carson City - קרסון סיטי

The interior of the buiding is in serious need of repair. The carpet in the hallways is disgusting with stains at ever room entry. The bed in our room was worn out and very squeeky. The bathroom had torn linoleum and missing edges on the sink counter.

For the price we payed and the services they offered was excellent. I really liked this hotel. Recommend to my friends.

Great place for bachelors or friends hanging out. I cannot expect it to get any better for the price I paid.

the staff was very friendly, there is a restaurant in the same parking lot (very convient) just overnight stay but room met needs for our trip.

Pleasantly surprised!!

We stayed overnight on our way home, and it was your average, older motel, with good size rooms, wrinkly linens, refrigerator and a non-working air conditioner.... Breakfast was a joke, they converted one guest room into a "breakfast room", you could barely turn around in there much less sit down. We stayed Sat. to Sunday, all rooms were booked, and guests were lined up outside in the hallway. No decaf coffee, juice machine not functioning, the one waffle maker so old and sticky, that it produced just crumbles. They ran out of fruit before we got there at 8:30 and my request for a bag of reg. tea was met with : "We are not required to offer that"..... says it all.

Got exactly what I expected for the price I paid. Service was good, room was decent. Bathroom was clean. Would have rated it higher if I didn't find a brownish stain on one of the towels.

Just by the title...does is make you cringe? I know the minute I walked into the motel that every room (even the non-smoking ones) were going to smell like cigarette smoke-sure enough, they did. Our "non-smoking" room even had an ashtray on the table and cigarette burns in the carpet. When returning from dinner the Sheriff's Dept Gang Squad was out front and a group of people were out by the back entrance smoking weed (the Gang Squad was obviously not "after" these people-LoL). The rooms are old and NEED to be updated. My husband wouldn't take a shower because he was so grossed out and when it was time to take mine I put a wash cloth on the shower floor and stayed standing on that. There was a musty/outhouse type smell in the bathroom and the linoleum was rolling up on itself because of previous water damage. There were rust stains on several of the surfaces. The A/C was a joke-very temperamental. Housekeeping keeps all the doors open while they are cleaning, so I walked into 3 different rooms that were open to see if any of them were any better-they weren't. The room was already paid for so we stuck it out. But we do not recommend this place until they give it a complete facelift or invite Anthony from 'Hotel Impossible' to come help them! The only positive is that the staff is very polite, friendly and helpful (as much as they can be).

Good budget hotel. Did not like that the central hallway was inside the hotel and you could hear everything echoing down the hallway. We had the room next to the stairs, so we heard everyone exiting and entering. Other than that, it was a comfortable room. Would have preferred a first floor room, we had so much stuff with us and had to carry everything up and down the stairs.

Rooms were quiet and clean and the staff was very helpful.

Didn't use air conditioning as the unit was tatty and unreadable, bed base could do with changing as well

The best thing was the price: low. The not so good things - just about everything else: very small room, poor repair (for example, bathroom sink missing stopper and control mechanism), sheets too small for bed, minimal breakfast (no yogurt, fruit, muffins, or rolls), inconsistant internet service, limited TV channels (just reduced from a better set). May still be worth the low price. No pool, no hottub, no business center, not even a computer or printer.

Water in shower took a while to heat. 3-5 min. Had great experience with Motel employees very prompt response on lost pillow... Would stay at Super 8 again.

Wireless internet was available only in the lobby. The front desk said the signals don't penetrate some of the rooms and they asked me to come to the lobby for internet access.

Stayed here for a night. An upstairs room on a non smoking room with an indoor hall (this time of winter that is nice). The bedspread smelled slightly of smoke but besides that I was very pleased with the room, especially considering the price. Would stay here again and might soon.

If you just want to stay for one night it's ok.. but if you're like me that I travel a lot to Carson City for business and need Internet access then consider another option. They advertise free wi-fi and once you're there they tell you is not working and they'll get it fixed next day.. well it's been 3 months since last time I was there and they still "working on it"..

The hotel was convenient but not much more than you can expect out of the price.
