Hyannis Harbor Hotel - היאניס

Bath robes were a nice touch. Room was clean if in need of some updating. Balcony was awesome for enjoying the morning coffee.

The hotel had just opened, and was short staffed. Melissa at the front desk was great; the room cleanliness was not as good as it could have been. Towels had stains, floor was not vacummed etc. I called the front desk three times before I got an answer because Melissa was the only staff available and she had to go to another room. The location is very pretty though and I'm sure once they are fully staffed these problems will be resolved.

Housekeeping must have been off the Fri and Sat we stayed there.Don't get a first floor room with a family of kids above you. (Especially if they're running and bouncing balls all night long).

Overall I would rate my experience below average. The service at the front desk was good, and the bed was comfortable. I did however notice a lot of dust in the bathroom vent while showering. The other main issue with the room is the fact that the windows do not open... they are screwed in shut so the room was very stuffy and I had a difficult time sleeping since I like fresh air when sleeping.

The hotel served our purpose perfectly. It was central to all that we wanted to do in Hyannis. It was a huge advantage to have the Ferry Terminal to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard just across the road. The Hotel staff kindly allowed us to leave our vehicle in the carpark until we returned. The building and decor is a little dated but it was clean and comfortable. We Would recommend it to all.

The hotel was was in a very good location, right across the street from the ferries, good resturants. It was near the beaches and easy to get to. The room that we had was across the parking lot from a very noisy bar. We had to run the AC all night as to not hear it. The AC also helped with the heat, we were right above the laundry. I guess the better rooms go to the ones who booked through the hotel itself.

Hotel is near great restaurants (Black Cat and Albertos) and across the street from the Ferry to Nanctucket and Martha's Vineyard which is perfect. Room is somewhat musty but confortable.

Cape Cod and Hyannis is beautiful, the hotel was within walking distance to everything. The food in the resteraunts were wonderful. The Hotel was another story. We were there for our Honeymoon. The first night we were there, we called and complained about the room above us, from midnight until the wee hours of early AM, it sounded like a heard of cattle above us, we thought they were going to come thru the ceiling. We complained at midnight and management did nothing. We were woken up early every day because of the pounding on the floor from above us. We complained several times, only for the front desk to do nothing. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was because of the outdoor fire place, when we asked about the night time fires, we were told it was broken and there wasn't going to be any fires the rest of the season. Needless to say, we were very dissapointed at lack of involement from the management and staff. Next tile we go to Hyannis, we will find another place, we were not happy at all.

Hotel was clean, location couldn't get any better. Right downtown Hyannis, everything is walking distance. The private balcony off our room seemed a little old and rickety.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the outside pool & hot tub and restaurant were closed for the season- and let me tell you, that pool was beautiful as well as the landscaping & all the seating areas throughout the yard. We walked across the street for breakfast, walked along the pier & checked out the fishing boats which the kids loved. It was lit with lights around the poles and trees at night. We were about a 2 blocks walk from the shops on Main St. Had lunch at a place called BBC- it was a British Pub Styled place and the food was fantastic and reasonable with a huge amount of options. We were about 2 miles from the beach which was also closed for the season, but we walked the shores in the pouring rain and picked some of the most beautiful seashells. It was a slow rainy weekend so it wasn't crazy busy, the front desk at check in upgraded our room at no additional cost to a beautiful suite with & upstairs with a spiral staircase & a deck on both floors, tons of room. It seemed like there were thicker walls because I didn't feel like my neighbors were sharing our room, it was pretty quiet. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the indoor pool, it looked like a prison pool, it was dark and had a tall iron fence closing it in, but it served it's purpose on a cold rainy fall day. It was fine but compared to how beautiful the rest of the hotel was it didn't seem to fit. We would definitely stay again!!!

Big Motel at the Hyannis harbor. It's rather quiet there during the night time but not easy finding an open restaurant as soon as the holiday period has gone. Rooms are clean and spacious. Pool (in & out) available.

Overall, it was ok. Lots of rif-raf hanging out behind hotel late at night. Room was on main road and traffic was loud. I think they were doing construction @ 8am in the room above me.

Queen at front desk is robotic in her speech n talks over the guests, like she just wants to get thru her speech. When asking about directions she is useless. Another hotel staff who was leaving for the day helped us out. The maids are friendly n hard working. We've stayed there once before this time with no issue but this time ruined it. We will book elsewhere as we love Hyannis n Cape Cod.

I had read guests reviews prior to booking this hotels so I had some idea of what to expect. The most disappointing things were that the Restaurant & Bar had closed as of Labor and we weren't aware of that. Also the fire pit was "having mechanical problems" on the chilly night we wanted to enjoy it. Other that that the location is great, right across from the harbor & ferries and a few blocks from Main Street which has great shops & Restaurants. Our room did not have a "water/harbor view" as we requested however we did have a balcony with a nice view overlooking the courtyard/garden (Room 409-two queens w/balcony). FYI the only rooms with partial harbor view are the rooms on the 2nd level overlooking the pool at the front of the building. Our room was nice, comfortable, and clean. For the location and reasonable price, I would stay here again.

This hotel filled our needs for a 2 night stay for a visit to Martha's vineyard couldn't get any closer to he harbor. I rate our room as a deluxe motel room and a dissappionted hotel room.

Stayed at Hyannis Harbor over Labor Day weekend and it was a nice hotel, but not the best value for the amount of money we paid. Clean, very friendly staff and close to restaurants/bars.

The staff was very friendly however, for the price it was quite expensive for the condition of the hotel. The rooms were large however it shows it's age.

We were so satisfied in our stay in Hyannis , cape cod . The weather was awesome , we went to craigsville beach , and we went to Martha's vineyard .the food was fabulous , we had only seafood , the food was great actually . I recommend everybody to go in Hyannis . The place is a peace of heaven .

Please be aware that this hotel charges you a daily rate to park but does not inform you of this until checkout. The hotel overall was adequate but more of a motel than a hotel. You are strictly paying for location on this one. The surrounding restaurants were nice but a bit overpriced. A nice little feature they had was an in ground kiddie pool that was perfect for our 2 year old. We had a nice stay overall.

Excellent location, has everything you need, nice pool, restaurant & clean. The hotel views are for the front only. Our room was way in the back & was not very nice looking.

We reserved deluxe king bed waterfront view not available. N The young man at desk said do not even have a waterfront room but they could up grade our room to two queen size beds with bay view. We took the room and when we got to room there was no bay view. We went back and she said it was called a bay room not bay view. We left our bags in room and said no more. We tried to get another room at Hampton Inn but it was full. We stayed only one night but we will never stay there again. Front of facility looks good but rooms are old with wall paper coming off walls.

On the outside the hotel looks beautiful and they claim to have remodeled rooms. However, adding a granite counter top to the entertainment center and a flat screen tv, is what they consider remodeled. The room was stuffy and felt dirty. The towels were well used. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Loved the size of room. The location was perfect. Would definitely return but would prefer a room with a better view.

My stay at the Hyannis Harbor Hotel was lovely. I absolutely loved the area and the fact that we could walk to everything. The resort was very beautiful and comfortable inside and out! We loved the fire pit at night. Although we loved the hotel, we did not care for the staff. I also didn't appreciate paying for parking. We already paid a lot of money for the room! We were told to park in a specific area and there was not always spots. One night we parked int he wrong lot (because there was no parking in ours) and got a ticket . When we approached the manager, he was extremely sarcastic and unprofessional to me and my friends. Overall, it was a nice stay and I believe I would book again.

The hotel was nothing like the pictures.. It was very outdated the bathrooms were falling apart the rooms were dark there were no harbor views... They also showed sliding glass doors in the rooms yet there were none we were very disappointed and will never stay here again!

The room was decidedly NOT romantic. Carpet was very old and while I don't think it was dirty, it appeared filthy. King bed was fine, not as uncomfortable as other reviewers experienced. Good flat screen TV. Good prompt cleaning, staff was efficient and welcoming. Great location, can walk to the beach. This is a good place if you just need a place to crash when you're not at the beach/exploring/whatever. But for the money we paid, yikes, definitely motel accommodations at nice hotel rates. Lobby and outside area are very modern and lovely, apparently some of the rooms have been renovated but ours was not one of those.

It is not a perfect hotel, it is a 3 star and there is only one 4 star on the whole island. For a 3 star it is fine....it was comfortable. Interior needs updating. Bed was comfortable and TV was very nice. I would stay there again. Located near a couple of good seafood restaurants, across the street from the ferries.

The hotel is comfortable and clean. Their on site restasurant was very good too! The loction is right across the street from the Ferry boat dock which was what we needed!

The hotel was fixing the stairs right outside our room. The workers started pounding etc just after 7:00am. I guess the construction workers think that we don't care to sleep in while on vacation. The rooms were very old and smelled like a locker room. The bathroom was very small and the door would not completely close. There was not enough parking spaces so I went up to the office to inquire about other areas to park. The front desk told me to go ahead and park in the handicapped parking. There was no way I was going to do this! I waited in my car until someone left so I could have a regular space. Also, my key would not open my room the second day. I went to the office to get them to get me a new room key. The employee at the front desk tried to tell me it was me and not the key but as I found out while in the office, I was not the only person this happened to. Overall, I would never recommend this property to anyone. The restaurant and bar was great!

Personnel at the hotel very helpful. Great location. Would be great if you could charge things at the restaurant to your room.
