Enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful with any query we had. Location pretty once you knew your way around. Room was a bit small and walls were thin. Could here people in hallway and adjoining room.

Location within easy walking distance to nearly everything. Staff very helpful and obliging.

We stayed for nights at Hotel France Albion & were very happy with our choice. The hotel is a very short walk from a metro stop, which meant the trip from the main train station was easy. The staff were cheerful & helpful for all our questions & needs. The location suited us perfectly as it is close enough to the city for a metro ride, but not in the centre. It meant we could explore our neighbourhood on foot, but still get to explore the tourist spots with ease. A good walk to us to Montmatre. We had supermarkets, chemist, church & a good range of eateries within a block. Our room overlooked the street to a delightful view of a typical Parisien street & our window opened to allow fresh air. We found the room to be quiet & slept well. The surrounding area was quite safe, even though there were the inevitable few beggars within the next street, especially at the metro stops & the church steps, but they didn't bother us after a firm 'No.' There is also a laundromat 2 blocks away. Downstairs is a secluded, private courtyard for smokers. There is a lift for those who can't manage the stairs & an excellent bistro right next door where we received a warm welcome. We would gladly stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay at France Albion. Being only 2 stars I was expecting it to be tattier and with more basic rooms but this was not the case. I found all the staff friendly and helpful - they all spoke excellent English and didnt appear concerned by my lack of french. My single room was bigger than I expected with comfy bed and spotless bathroom with a powerful shower. The location is great too as the hotel is not on a really busy street meaming sleeping was easy, the metto station was aminute up the road, it only took about 15 minutes to walk to the lourve. They also loads of restaurants on your doorstep of every nationality - French, Italian, Japanese, vietnamese, Thai, Greek, american, lebanese, chinese. I can reccommend the cafe Bo Man just beyond the st georges metro station - excellent food and great value for money (I had escargot, confit duck amd creme brulee with 2 small wines and it came to under 30 €) I got this hotel on a deal when I stayed 4 nights so for me I found it excellent value for money.

Very small rooms. Excellent buffet breakfast. Near to two metro lines. Grocery store across street. Staff was nice and helpful.

this hotel was a good value and well maintained...the breakfast offering was quite good and good service in the breakfast room...the desk staff was helpful and knowledgeable..the neighborhood was safe..but i have been to paris many times and i thought this hotel was a little closer to the shopping area and it was not..a little off the beaten path.

We spent 19 days at the Albion and it was a great time, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was perfect, between two Metro Stations and within walking distance to a great many attractions. I will recommend the hotel to anyone I know heading for Paris.

This is a clean friendly hotel located in a good quite neighborhood. Restaurants in the immediate area. The room was good for me, the staff was a big help and very friendly. Can't say anything bad about this place.

Very friendly English speaking staff. The hotel was clean and in a good area of town close to 2 metro stations. Very nice breakfast in a beautiful cellar type room. My bedroom was a single and quite small but had everything I needed.

It was exactly what we hoped: simple, affordable, fantastic location and free internet. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

discovered that by booking on line I had to pay a considerable more rent than I would have it made directly with the hotel. other members of family received a much better rate and I brought the business to them. not fare.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel France Albion, the room was clean, excellent shower, toiletries, free safe and clean towels everyday. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, even when we locked ourselves out of our safe! The breakfasts were more than adequate and we enjoyed breakfast in our room at no extra cost! The hotel was 2 minutes walk from the Metro and also within walking distance of Gard de Nord and Sacre Coeur. I would recommend the hotel to friends and definitely use it again. Check out time was 12 o'clock which was helpul, they also let us check in earlier than stated in the booking details.

Was so overly impressed by this hotel, I must say i was not expecting much as it was only rated 2 stars but everybody that served us were super friendly and helpful and our room was clean with lovely interiors, there wasn't much of a view but that was not an issue for us. We would definatley stay here again for the same price!

I spent just two nights in Paris before heading south where I'm spending a couple of months. I don't need luxury in hotels abroad; I'd rather spend money eating and shopping. What I do want in a hotel is cleanliness, decent (safe) location, close to transportation, and friendly staff. And the France Albion was a winner on all counts! The room - a "Simple" single - was tiny, with just a twin bed, but it was clean, the window opened with ease, and the hot water was hot. The elevator worked just fine. The staff were, to a person, cheerful and helpful. The hotel is one very short block away from the Metro (the stop is "Notre Dame de Lorette"), and from there all of Paris is accessible. The neighborhood itself, though, has plenty of restaurants and grocery marts. All this would have been enough for my 5-star rating, but one desk clerk made herself a superstar in my book by agreeing to engage in a long, aggravating phone conversation with the railroad about a piece of baggage I was shipping separately from myself. She never seemed bothered that I'd asked in the first place, and she made it through with aplomb. This was Four Seasons service in a 2-star hotel. I would definitely go back to the France Albion when I'm in Paris again (which I hope is soon).

Lovely friendly clean hotel in a good location to explore Paris with 2 metro stations within 3 minutes walk.

i would say this is a decent hotel for this price. everything is not bad but nt too gd. however theres no mini bar n kettle provided

We had some difficulty locating the hotel when we first came out of St Georges train station but after we found it, it was not too far from the train station, about 60m away. We had a comfortable room with two single beds on the fourth floor. It was clean and cosy and the room was cleaned up well each time we returned from our day trips. The receptionists were also very helpful. I remember asking for hot water from the front desk and they offered us a kettle! The room also comes with a safe, free wireless internet and a bathtub, all in all - a very homey place. It was also very accessible by train and is a ten minute walk from Moulin Rouge and Galleries Lafayette. We felt safe even while coming home late, at around 11-plus pm. There is a carrefour supermarket right in front of the hotel with a wide selection of food so it was also very convenient for us to get groceries. The hotel also helped us to arrange for our transfer back to the hotel - 18 Euros per person at a time that we requested for.

Me and my wife stayed for one week at the France Albion. The positves are the location is really good with Metro really close as well as most of the popular monuments and museums in walking distance. Breakfest was just ok, there is no professional cook just a really nice girls who treat you really well and make you feel welcome but the limited hot food made us get tired of eating there. There is a grociery store right in front of the hotel so you can shop for drinks and snack. Price is good for a hotel in central Paris. Our room was always cleaned every day and after a busy day out it was really nice. Most of the staff was nice. WiFi worked really well. Now the few negitives. The bed was very hard and the bed is only like 180x140cm and im 187cm tall so my feet where standing out of the bed. We tought the woman in reception that was there on dayshift made us feel like we where not welcome. One time we came into the reception and no one was there and since you have to leave your key when you go out you need to get it when coming back, we waited for few minutes and we gave up and went behind the desk and got the key ourselfs but that made us fell more unsafe leaving our laptop in the room since people from the street can just walk in and take our key and help them self to our stuff. All in all we went there with a little high expectations but overall we liked my stay and would stay there again.

Hotel was lovely, staff VERY helpful, could not help us enough, breakfast was always superb and again, staff always greeted you with a smile on their face which is all you can ask for. If you are going here on the Metro, use St George station rather than Notre Dame de Lorette as it is nearer.

Hotel is located within a few minutes from Notre Dame de Lorette and Le Pelletier métro stations. Near to many cafés and restaurants as well as a few supermarkets. The hotel staff was friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again

I would have given this place all fives except that when I was saying there, their wifi went down and all guests had to congregate in the lobby to use a local hotspot. Needless to say, for those of us who were on skype with loved ones and or business calls, this was not a pleasant experience. Also, the beds are VERY firm (depending on if you like that it can be a pus or minus) On to the Pros: 1) You should buy the breakfast, it's worth it. 2) Great location, it's about a three minute walk to the metro and one minute from a grocery store. 3) Helpful staff. 4) Air conditioning! 5) Modestly priced.

It was a good value for the price. The street is under construction with jack hammer at 6h am. If you are on the 1 floor you will hear the noise of the entry door of the Hotel. beside that is was very good.

Our stay was comfortable. Small neat and clean room. Located close to two metro stations making traveling In Paris convenient. This is a great place if you are just looking for a clean and comfortable place to spend the night within a budget.

Love the place, very close to the Metro station, quiet and having a carrefore nearby!

Our 4th stay at the Albion. Next street over has many vendors for cheeses, patisseries, fruits/vegetables. Very close to 3 Metro Stops/2 Metro lines and to Paris Opera House (Palais Garnier) and shopping (Galeries Lafayette). Nice neighborhood of families with young children, as we see them going to school in the mornings. We will choose Hotel France Albion again for our next Paris Opera Ballet event.

Would stay again; is in a convenient location, travel here with hand carry, no room for large bags in the room.

First of all, it is near Metro station, easy to reach. No lift in this station, difficult to take my baggage to overground but it is not hotel's problem. Hotel service is good, they are able to speak in English, friendly and helpful. Room is big, much bigger than the one I lived in England and it is clean. Hotel has lift, nice. However, not many restaurants can be found nearby. When I back to hotel at night, say 21:00, all restaurants were closed.

Very reasonably priced hotel in central Paris. Room was small (on par with most European hotels) and furniture slightly dated but bathroom and appliances very modern and the bed was comfortable. Decent location - about a 2 min walk to the tube/metro stop, 20 min walk to train station, 10-15 min walk to Opera and Lafayette Galaries and if you like walking, then say 25-30 min walk to The Louvre (we walked all over from this hotel). Overall affordable, clean and comfortable.

We stayed three nights at France Albion, Paris. The atmosphere of the hotel was very friendly and welcoming already at the beginning. You can speak english - and be understood! The double-room was big with double bed and great bathroom. The hotel is very nicely located, two metropolitans within 100 meters. Good neighbourhood. The best hotel I stayed at in Paris. Two stars but should definitely be three!!

Cons: The room is very small and the heater doesn't strong enough to warm the whole room. And it will be quite noisy when there is someone outside speaking at "normal" voice. but fortunately, the ones live near my room kept quite for all the nights. The hotel reception is quite friendly, but not professional enough. I asked the gal how to make he long distance call in my room, she gave me the wrong instruction. Pros: Although the room is small, but it's quite tidy and comfy. The hotel is very near to the metro, with some supermarkt /convenient store around you where you can buy some cheap food and drinks. Overall, with the discounted price I get from booking 4 nights, the quality of the hotel/room is overall okay.

This is a lovely hotel... Breakfeast is really nice... Staff were very helpful and friendly... Room were small but cosy and nice and warm... we would definetly stay here again...

The location is great. It is close to Montmartre, Place Pigalle, Grand Boulevards, shopping and the Opera house. Metro station is literally a one minute walk. Very clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Would definitley stay there, again.

hotel was average and lots of miscommunication with staff

I have mixed opinions of this hotel , Its a nice hotel given its proximity to St George. There are cafe 's nearby and Metro is really close. The Hotel is not far from Garu Du Nord, with constant buses running in the direction. Hotel rooms by itself is really small , We fortunately had only a 25 inch luggage , i am not sure if you could roll a larger luggage in the corridor. The rooms were tiny ,but nice in its own way.The disappointment was the bed , i found it uncomfortable and decided to sleep on the floor(what ever was remaining) in the second night. Thankfully they were neat. Will i stay again? i could if i cant find la defense hotel for the same cost.

This will be my first review I've wrote for a hotel which goes someway into saying how much I enjoyed the stay. I travelled with my girlfriend and we were both pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful, even inviting us to join them for drinks and food celebrating the hotels birthday. We had the top room, no. 61 which wasn't huge but was more than adequate for 2 adults and cosy. Booklets were provided on destinations to visit and restraunts, there was also a handy fold away map which was my trusty aide through the 4 days. The location was excellent, about a 5 minute taxi drive from gare du nord or 15 minute walk, with 2 subway stations north and south of the hotel only 3/4 minutes walk. it proved only to be a short walk to the opera house and galleries Lafayette, a bit further south was the louvre, probably a 15 minute walk. Moulin rouge was about 10 minutes walk north. There is a small supermarket south from the hotel about a 5 minute walk and the staff were more than happy wih us taking drinks to the room, although I'd suggest taking a corkscrew! In summary the room and hotel were very well kept and cleaned everyday, the bed was firm but more than comfortable, there was a hair dryer provided, shower gel, 26" tv and small desk. There was also free wifi as long as you provide your email address you get free access. The only missing item was a kettle/tea making facilities for the room but apart from that the hotel is great value for money, cheap cheerful and clean. If you want a room to call home for a few days that suits your basic needs, ie sleep and shower, then I can't recommend this hotel enough, if you want the luxury amenities such as gym, spa, sauna, built in bar/restaurant etc and slippers/bath robe then look elsewhere. Grab a bargain you won't be disappointed!

Hotel in superb location, convenient to the Roissy bus stop which is a non stop service direct from the CDG airport or, you prefer to travel by train, there are 3 different metro stops close by. Situated near to the large designer stores but also lots of bargains to be found in the local surrounding streets. Our room was compact and quirky but comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was also tasty and the price was competitive for the area. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

I really recommend this hotel. This is a two stars hotel that deserves to be at least a 3 stars. The hotel is clean, well structured, rooms with individual bathroom, excellent breakfast and all the employees speaks english, are friendly and try to help whenever you need. I've booked this hotel a little bit afraid in what I would found because it is a 2 stars. But the hotel surprised me with all it presents. This is on of the best value-to-price. The only concern about it is the noise on the street by the morning, because the deliveries on the market nearby. But if you sleep as stone like me, it's not a such problem. The location is also excelent: 5 min by bus from Gare du Nord (15 min walking), 10 min walking from Gare Saint Lazarre, 15 min walking to Louvre, there are 5 subway stations nearby walking 5 min (2 of then half block from hotel), 10 min walking to Moulin Rouge and 20 to Sacre Coeur. In my opinion, the best choice in Paris for a reasonable cost.

Stay here! Walking distance to a few metro stops. Good service, clean room and great prices. What more could you want?

The single room was miniscule with a very narrow single bed, but the interior room was quiet for the most part. There is air conditioning in the room which allows you to keep the windows closed when the outdoor temperature is uncomfortably high. The breakfast was very good and the dining room uncrowded.
