Good hotel only 4 blocks from train station. 15-20 minutes from sights. Some traffic noise in room during night. Needs a room safe. Room was good size and in good condition. TV included 2 English stations. Hotel is a little dated. WiFi but no computer for those of us who do not travel with laptops or notebooks.

its ok.bed was not comfortable. towels seemed like so old and not washed. we only stayed for one night. they were kind enough to pack a bag of food for us as we left very early for our flight in the morning.

Hotel furniture and design is old but not rusty, very clean, service is exceptionally 5*, room cleanless and hotel cleanless also 5*. very close to all attractions because it is close to termini station.

Near Santa Maria Magiore and Termini, this hotel offers a nice breakfast buffet and huge family suite. The friendly staff speaks beautiful English and is most helpful! Their transfer to FCO was cheaper & faster than taking the train!

The location of the hotel is good .. very close to the central rail station.. walking distance with your luggage. The showers a very small. Front desk was great.. very helpful and pleasant ... breakfast was good and the coffee was great. We had three rooms and we enjoyed our stay... Lobby is small and old fashion... but for the price, I would say good value

The room was adequate, nothing special. Clean enough; we also stayed at the hotel Napoleon which is very close by and for another 4 star we liked it much better.

We enjoyed our stay.

From the lobby to the rooms, all at this hotel needs a facelift. Everything a bit shabby. Linens need to updated. The a/c-heat control didn't work. The worst thing was the traffic noise. I got no sleep, it continued all through the night. I would definitely not recommend this place.

The rooms were not up to expectation, more shabby than chic. The walls in the room were grubby & one room smelled badly. The photographs do not represent the true "look" of the hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The Continental breakfast was typical of most hotels in Rome and Venice - no fresh fruit. This is not a 4* hotel and over priced - it needs to be brought up to standard. It is however within walking distance of most of the main attractions and Rome Termini

everything was perfect location, decor, service, comfort, cleanliness, price but if i have to complain about one thing that would be the shower. they have a 24 inch pan for you to stand in. I am 5'6" 125lbs and I barely fit in it after the curtain is closed. I also got the floor outside the shower very wet because it is just to small for a small person like me. Don't let this scare you because this hotel is really great.. maybe they can work on giving their breakfast more varity... other than that PERFECTO! Also this is not your Westin's, not even close to the W and not as cozy as some of the Hiltons but it's got a great 1970's italian charm. i just love it.

Hotel Commodore is a short walking distance to Termini (Central train station in Rome). Steps away from Santa Maria Maggiore, it is close to all pick up/drop off routes. Check in was breeze, hotel staff brisk but efficient. I'd booked single room, so the size reminded me of my dorm room in university. 4 piece washroom was clean but tiny. Once inside, access was side ways only. Towels just a notch above quality used to dry dishes. Breakfast area was clean and choice not bad for a continental menu. Overall a clean place, I'd say 3 star for North American standard...

Overall good experience at the Hotel Commodore. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. No internet in room. only seemed to work in lobby and not the fastest, but reasonable price for Europe. Great location, across from Basilica Santa Maggiore and easy walking distance to Rome Terminal Station. If you have a car you can get lucky and park for free on Via Cavour, just around corner from hotel entrance. About 10 spaces along curb to the North that don't require payment. Left the car parked there for 3 days and it did not get disturbed or ticketed City of Rome hits you with a few Euro per day City Tax that is not part of your bill until checkout.

I stayed here for one night. room was small but has everything that you need. its a bit expensive though. location is ok close to roma termini.

The hotel itself is in a great location (just a few blocks from the train station, and on two main roads that make it almost impossible to get lost in Rome). We were in an economy room, so it was pretty small, but very clean. The shower was really, really small, and tended to flood a bit. The biggest issues we had was the front staff person when we checked in (who was pretty rude and aloof), and our air conditioning that didn't work. Because of that, we had to open the windows, which would have been fine, except there is an awful sewage smell that wafts up in waves all night. I'm not sure if they were working on something or what, but it was awful! The breakfast in the morning was fine (nothing extraordinary, but got us going in the morning). Overall, great price for the location.

This place is great... and so is the staff... so close to the Termini and newly renovated... It's all what's good about Italy... Enjoy!

Dejlig hotel absolut super pris/ydelse. Rent og pænt med behjælpelig personale. Gå afstand til alle de store seværdigheder. Nem adgang til Rundturs busserne, der har stoppe sted 300 meter fa hotellet.

値段が低く、駅から近くなので満足できる。サービスも、お湯ももらえた。高い料金ではずれるよりずっといい。

A pochi passi dalla stazione Termini e dal cuore di Roma antica, in posizione ideale per raggiungere ogni luogo della città tra mezzi pubblici e passeggiate a piedi. Personale gentile e stanze confortevoli. Colazione abbondante.

Hotellet var billigt, rent, varmt och det gick att öppna fönstrena det var det som var bra. Förutom det så var det inte speciellt kul. Wifi kostade extra, TV'n minimal, utsikt mot en smutsig bakgård. Tipset på resturang som receptionen gav oss (Marina) var sunkig med tråkig mat, gå inte dit! Det finns mkt trevligar ställen i Rom. Resten av personalen sa inte hejdå eller tack utan verkade mest vara ointresserad av sina gäster. Det var ok för en natts övernattning, vi fick vad vi behövde för en billig peng men det är inte hotellet jag skulle välja för en längre semester i Rom.

E' stato perfetto !

Vi var ialt 9 personer som hadde bestilt enerom. Rommene var av veldig varierende kvalitet. Flere av rommene var uten safe, og 3 av enerommene var svært små, mere som kott å regne. TV,ene var svært gamle, dårlig kvalitet, og med dårlig kanaltilbud.Gode fellesrom og god frokost.

Loistava sijainti keskustassa. Nähtävyyksiä lähellä. Samoin paikallisliikenne asemat sekä kaupat ja ruokailupaikat. Huone sijainniltaan vähän huono, näkymät sisäpihalle, ei parveketta, ilmanvaihto piti välillä outoa sirinää, johon jopa saattoi herätä yöllä. Hotellin henkilökunta miellyttävää paitsi vastaanoton ja lähdön suorittanut mieshenkilö oli ylimielinen ja vähän tympeä. Ei kertonut tullessa mitään aamupalasta tai mistään hotellin palveluista. alkoi palvelemaan sisäänkirjautumisessa välillä myöhemmin tulleita.

Et ganske udemærket hotel,god pris og rigtig god beliggenhed, det enste minus jeg har er badeværlset det er ikke godt indrettet og brusekabinen er alt for lille.

Mycket nöjd. Ett välskött hotell med trevlig personal. Rumsdetaljer med plusvärde: dubbla dörrar och AC som inte förvandlar rummet till kylslåp på nätterna. Frukostutbudet helt OK. Läget relativt centralt (15 minuters promenad till Colosseum) på en lugn gata.

Incroyable, service impeccable, très bon brunch, chambre avec tout ce que je désirais, très propre. Je recommandes

Hotelli sijaitsi erittäin hyvällä paikalla, lähellä Roma Terminiä. Hotellilta oli myös helppo kävellä joka paikkaan (nähtävyydet, ravintolat, kaikenlaiset putiikit) ja se sijaitsi rauhallisella alueella. Neljä tähteä hotelli ei mielestäni kuitenkaan ansaitse, koska ainakin oma huoneeni oli pieni ja "tunkkaisen" oloinen sekä aamupala oli vaatimaton. Hotellin henkilökunta oli kuitenkin erittäin avuliasta ja ystävällistä.

Helt greit hotell, men ikke noe 4*, heller nærmere 2*. Rommet lite og enkelt. Ganske håpløst å måtte betale for internett tilgang i 2012!?

beklager ,men dette var ikke etter forventningen på nettet,- hvor det er angitt 4 stjerner for dette hotellet. -etter min mening er det en standard på det rommet jeg fikk fra 2- 3 maks. Hotellet var under oppussing,- og i annonsen står det bla. at det er tekstiler som passer til antikke møbler osv. ,- men her er det billige kopier .Frokostsalen var ok,- maten sånn passe. Beliggenheten ok,- nær Termini.

Ett helt ok hotell. Ett mycket bra läge där det är gångavstånd till de stora utflykterna. Trevlig personal. Basic frukost. Rummen medelklass.

Fin beliggenhet med gangavstand til det meste. Colloseum, 10 min, den spanske trappen, 15 min, handlegater 5 min osv. Grei standard med ok frokost. Madrasser i senger ok, men heller ikke mer enn det. Det var store demonstrasjoner i Roma under vårt besøk. Hotellet var veldig behjelpelig med å få oss dit vi skulle selv om jernbane, buss taxi osv sto stille.

Ett okey hotell. Dock inte 4-stjärnors klass. 3 stjärnor skulle nog vara mer rätt. Äldre stil på korridorer och rum.Fint badrum. Läget bra,promenadavstånd till allt. Personalen bra på engelska och hjälpsamma.

Buena ubicación, recepción amable, habitación individual pequeña pero cómoda.

La verdad, nos trataron muy bien, eramos un grupo de 5 parejas amigas en rumbo a un crucero. El hotel esta muy bien ubicado, muy sencillo, no llega a tres estrellas pero es comodo y cuenta con un desayuno bastante agradable. No esperen lujos, solo estar comodos y a decir verdad bien atendidos por su personal.

Das Hotel liegt nahe beim Bahnhof Termini und wenn die Metro funktioniert, kann man alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichen. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, das Frühstück nicht sehr gross, aber das wichtigste ist vorhanden. Das Badezimmer ist nicht für Menschen über 1,90m geeignet, aber für Kurzaufenthalte kann man es benützen.

L'hôtel est situé à deux pas de la gare Termini de Rome. De plus, la Via Cavour vous emmènera directement à pied dans le centre historique de Rome (Colisée, Palatin, Forum, Capitole) mais à conditionne de marché un petit peu. L'hôtel en lui même, et bien c'est un quatre étoiles ! Donc tout le monde est à votre service. Les réceptionnistes sont vraiment très sympas, tout est très propres, bref tout va bien Je recommande cet hôtel si vous avez un bon budget sans trop abuser.

The hotel was pleasant and quiet, even though it is close to a busy main street. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for the price.
