Hotel was clean and very nice. Stayed in a bungalow with nice trees hiding it. Staff all friendly and easy to talk to. Enjoyed it alot wish I booked earlier so I could stay my whole trip, I know for next time. Only bad thing there was the stairs. No elevator so older people may have trouble but I'll recommend this place to my friends.

Nice pool, restaurant has many options, room has a few little issues since it's old. NO WIFI sometimes, even though they say they have. My TV was really fuzzy bad reception, never got fixed. I think some rooms might be nice than mine but I won't go back. Pretty close to beach and touristy places but I will go more into the nature next time. Shuttle service good. Air conditioner leaked water onto a daybed. Door didn't slide well to room and key was tricky, it's an older hotel renovated. Shower good but small, I got the floor all wet.

It was sucks because we had to pay additional of 2000 thai bath for n xtra person but it stated ther that the room can accomadate 3 person.

my worst experience ever

Worn out hotel, terrible bed, noisy room, ours was below the gym, we only noticed at 7:30 am when some guy working out kept banging the weights on the floor (not his fault, that's the purpose) so it seemed like the roof was going to collapse on our bed. The breakfast was correct but don't expect anything from it.. On our cheek out, the staff could not find the blank visa deposit which I had signed the night before, because their papers were a total chaos, it took them more than half an hour to find it, so we nearly lost our boat to phi phi. And we asked them to call a taxi, and the one they called did not show up, although I found one on the street straight away. Do your self a favour and stay away from this hotel.

I like the like hotel but the problem there is... the neighbourhood room and sorrounding is very noisy and I ask the hotel management to change a room but unfortunately they are able to change for me. I cant totally sleep.

I stayed at Club Bamboo for 9 weeks, #1 staff, #1 rooms, #1 service, inexpensive 5* Hotel. Great food & room service. Many thanks to Yut and all the staff and management for giving me 5* service. Thanks Dean

If you know you shoulden't expect to much of the hotel, it is a great place. It very old, and very shabby. But the staff was nice, and if you are not there to be in your room, it is great for the money you pay. The poole was awfull maintained and the sunbeds asswell.

i found the hotel cosy n boutique like,not too large a hotel that you dont feel warm n cosy,just nice for a couple,the hotel is also close to patong,but not that close that you get the noise.rooms were comfortable for the pice.

I stayed here for two weeks and on the whole was very pleased with my circumstances. Yes there are steps, yes when walking there's a small hill to negotiate , but for the price I was delighted with my room. It was quiet enough to sleep well at night but not far enough out of town to be a bother. Sometimes I walked all the way, sometimes I got a taxi bike for 50 baht. I didn't like their restaurant but ate frequently next door, all meals $3 and down the hill, a meal with a drink for under $3. Never got ill. I would definately stay again, depending on the room and would recommend it. I also had frequent massages there that were great. Just be mindful that the whole world doesn't speak English and be patient and polite. If you are allergic to cats the pool area may be an issue.

I am travelling for 1 year from the UK, so money is important. I found this place to offer excellent value for money, and I will be coming back again! Flew in from Koh Samui on the Sunday. They organised a tranfer for 600 baht - good value I think. Arrived at sister hotel - also called Bamboo, because my room wasnt vacant at main hotel due to somebody being ill. Sister hotel is not as good. In the morning got a free transfer to main hotel. So nice! Very peaceful, but only 2 minutes by scooter to the noise of Patong and the great beach! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! I received a free upgrade to my room for my earlier inconvenience. I found the staff excellent and very friendly, the facilities are excellent - including an under used gym which has very expensive and modern equipment, and a peaceful pool. A spa/massage center is on site, and I am about to use it now! Wifi is free and can be connected to in most rooms. Pool is a touch on the small side, but still lovely. Lots of stairs, but will be fine if you are physically well. Very peaceful and quiet, excellent bed and pillows, and only 2 mins from the party!

This place is a run down resort. The AC didn't work in the first room we were placed in. The AC in the room we were moved to was leaking and they never bothered fixing this one or the phone that was broken. A few days later when I went to get some more money to exchange from a case that was hidden well inside my bag, I felt like it was a few hundred short so I made sure to count what was left. I spent all day trying to figure out how I had spent so much money, but the only conclusion i could come to was that $300 or $400 was missing. So when we got back to the room after being on a Mini Safari booked by the Resort a few hours later, I went to count the money again and there was another $100 missing. When I approached the Staff at the Reception and told them what had happened. They questioned the cleaning staff about it and after the cleaner denied it they told me they couldn't do anything about it. So the only thing i can say is that they must rummage through all of your belongings and steal any cash they can find but leaving enough so that at first glance you think its all still there. I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone.

The superior room I was staying in was large, clean and pretty nice in my opinion. Although because the hotel is located on a mountainousness location there were very steep and very many steps which provided daily exercise. Also the location is a bit far away from the beach, but the hotel has a pick-up service. The positive point about the location is that it was very quiet as there are no night activity near. Although it did not operate on the mentioned intervals instead if you were going out you had to stay there 3-4 hours minimum. Taxi rate is 200 baht and became quite costly on regular basis.

Bed isn't most comfortable bed ever. But I am here again tonight after staying 5 nights last week. It's so cheap and just make sure if you have breakfast included you eat it once. Otherwise you will be charged. Other than that I really like this hotel. For little $ I am top floor looking at water and some of Patong. Definitely a good deal

Well this hotel is very good if you compare with the price it is in.. Over all good place to stay staff is very good food spl. the breakfast buffet was good... over all nice place to stay but quite away from airport but u can be in touch with good places of potong beach such as bangla market over all i enjoyed and next time if i m going there i will prefer to stay in this hotel..

the hotel was great however, there was a million stairs and if you hurt your ankle like i did it is not possible. the hotel did set us up with their sister resort, which was gorgeous they even sent us there via shuttle

The room was nothing like the pictures. The beds where hard and uncomfortable, and all the sheets smelled of bleach. There was as well a smell of chlorine in the entire room. The hotel restaurant is one of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten inn, tasteless, salt, dry and boring. Breakfast was okay however. Club bleached is located more then 20 min waking from the beach, meaning its one of the hotels farest away from the beach i Potong. The only plus side is that the hotel is cheap and the staff polite. We paid for 4 nights, but changed hotel after 2 nights.

definitively not recommending anyone. The hotel is just awful, mold is probably in every room and the hotel is located very close to something that looks like a sewage plant. Very noisy as well. The pictures are not the pictures of the hotel.

The images on the site about this hotel are entirely misleading. Although it wasnt the worst hotel I have stayed in, it was far from what the pictures lead me to believe in/expect. The given photos only apply to a VERY SMALL amount of rooms they have. Further the free internet was spotty and often wouldnt connect me to the internet. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they informed me they were aware of the situation, but they were entirely apathetic.

The staff were superb and friendly and the onsite food was excellent and we ate there mostly.The onsite spa was amazing and very professional and good value. Transport from clubbamboo ran approximately half a dozen times a day to patong ,or you could walk there took about 15mins.There were also taxis accross the road which took you for 200 baht . Though a little way from town we would stay again for sure.

Hotel is OK, and staff is very friendly. Our room was muffy, but fine for a short stay.

Aside from needing a bit of paint I enjoyed my stay here and will, without a doubt, stay here again. Staff was friendly and readily available. Grounds were well maintained and the location is great if you don't want to be around the noise and seediness of Patong which is about a 20 minute walk or five minute ride away,

it's great vacation for me. staff was nice and helpful. and room was clean and nice to stay. also has nice pool. but it's little far from main road of patong. it took 20min or more by walk. i always use free hotel shuttle and taxi. taxi costs THB 100 - 200 you can also rent the scooter easily. except distance i totally satisfied compare with how much i spent in this hotel. it's worth it :)

The bed was terriblly uncomfortable and when we complained it took the staff a whole day to show us other rooms. Those rooms weren't much better. The bathrooms all seemed to smell of mold. I understand that Thailand is hot and humid but you should be able to keep a bathroom from being moldy right? After showing us a couple rooms that were about the same we just gave up on trying to be satisfied and sucked it up. This is a cheap option if going to Phuket, which by the way is super touristy, but it wasn't the romantic getaway I was hoping for!

Staff was great, but a hotel with no hot water isn't a good place to stay. There were other small issues that made me unhappy but nothing too bad.

It was excellent trip & about the resort was very good & the way the treated was also good. The rates are reasonable.I wish to visit the same place once again in my nearer future

Friendly staff, beautiful ambiance and great facilities. A bit away from the beach but you'll have a free shuttle every hour

Good clean rooms, friendly staff, nice pool and peaceful hotel. Would reccomend Club Bamboo to all.

Hotel staff were very friendly. rooms were clean, our room was nice but the villas looked lovely. food was great and cheap in hotel. only short walk or taxi (200baht) to busy areas (bangla rd, patong beach) taxi from airport should only be about 600baht, we paid double we had a great holiday and would definetly stay here again

The rates were great for what you get. Look it is not a 5 star hotel but it is a really great deal for the money. They offer a very decent free breakfast everyday. The staff was really great. I had just got married so at 9 pm at night my husband decided he wanted to give me flowers and breakfast in bed....so he contacted the Mgr....who with such short notice arranged to get flowers delivered that had four of the staff show up with breakfast. They were really great........The rooms are very decent and very clean. If i had any complaint it would be that the bed was to firm for me.....but that was it........The hotel had a very decent gym with modern equip and it was very clean.......The hotel is about 15 min walk to the beach and the hotel offers a free shuttle. If your someone who all all about spend gobbs of money on a flashy hotel this is not for you.....but if your looking for a great deal and to stay at a place that is very decent with great service then I would recommend this hotel you might be very pleased ....I was.............On my next trip to Patong I have every intention for staying here again..

This was a very nice stay we had here.. Very good rice, very friendsly staff always ready to help you out! Lovely hotel... perfect welcoming.. I would stay there again!

とても快適に滞在できました。部屋も綺麗で広く、プールも快適でした！！また泊まりたいです！！

Отель очень понравился! Каждый день была уборка в номере, приветливый персонал всегда помогал, если были вопросы. От отеля на пляж Патонг и обратно ходил несколько раз в день бесплатный транспорт. Единственный минус-при отеле дорогой ресторан, цена на порядок выше, чем в хороших заведениях Пхукета. Но на пиво существует акция "Счастливый час" и его можно взять по нормальной цене. В остальном все понравилось!

dejligt hyggeligt hotel. er er meget søde og hjælpsomme vi blev der i 3 uger.. ville helt sikkert vælge samme hotel igen pga servicen

Hyfsat hotell om man vill bo på den lugna delen av Patong. Rummet var helt ok. Vissa rum låg nära träden vilket gjorde att man stördes lite av små-mygg. Poolen var inte så mycket att hurra för pga att träden runtomkring hade vuxit sig för höga så det var skugga över stora delar av poolområdet. Stort plus att de hade ett gym. Frukosten var godkänd också.
