Excellent rooms, I really recommend the executive suite on the 6th floor with view of the creek and Burj Khalifa. It really looks stunning at night. The hotel minibar is totally affordable and not your usual rip off, cans of soda were 3 Dh, they had Bounty chocolate for 4 Dh. The TV was excellent, the wifi worked throughout the building and was included with the room. This room had the fancy Japanese toilet seats and a bathtub that could fit 3 or 4 people. Water pressure in the shower was amazing, wish my apartment in Hong Kong had that pressure. I had dinner in the Chinese/Japanese restaurant a couple of nights, food was good, breakfast buffet was also good and offered Asian and vegetarian options.Overall I had a really great stay, the staff are all friendly and the room was great. Make sure to go out on the balcony, I didn't even know I had them when I arrived.

I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite and my bedroom (as booked) overlooked the Creek. For my short visits to Dubai (2-3 nights) this hotel is in an ideal situation, and I was pleased with every aspect of it.

I ENJOYED MY STAY AT THE HOTEL. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN IF I WAS VISITING OLD DUBAI BUT NEXT TIME I AM IN DUBAI I WILL STAY IN THE NEW PART OF THE CITY ONLY FOR PROXIMITY TO THIS AREA.

My room was clean, well maintained, and good enough. The hotel isn't five star but doesn't pretend to be... breakfast was excellent, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and everything was as promised. This was my first time staying at the Riviera, but I would stay there again.

This hotel and staff were wonderful. It was cleaner than hotels I have seen in the US. Great price and a great stay.

I really liked the service at the hotel. Their breakfast was absolutely excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's near by the Union metro station in Deira. As a minus, the hotel is pretty old and in need of refurbishing. Plus, the wireless internet will cost you extra.

it was ok but my girlfriend was not allows o stay there with me so I had to pay for another hotel when she meet me in Dubia

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Amenities very good. Room comfortable and pleasant. We used the Asian restaurant for our evening meal - the food and service were of very high standard. We enjoyed our stay despite the high temperatures outside (47C). Taxis readily available, very helpful porter. Will recommend to others.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to our final destination. Be aware that if your flight arrives before check-in, you may have to wait to get a room. We arrived at 1pm Friday and had to wait an hour to get a room, along with 4 other groups. I went to the front desk to get help with booking a Saturday morning desert tour. The staff was very rude and said a Saturday tour wasn't possible and the only way that I could find a tour was to extend my trip. I asked if there were any tour offices nearby that could help me and was told "no." That evening, I went to the Dubai Mall and found a tour office that set me up with a tour. The tour was great and everything worked out, but it bothered me that the staff told me Saturday morning tours don't exist. I only had 1 1/2 days in Dubai and almost missed going on this tour because I was given wrong information. Other than that, the hotel was pretty decent, but it's definitely not a 4-star hotel, more like a 3. The breakfast is decent considering it's included with your room and the bottled water in the rooms is very reasonable (< US$1) so you don't have to worry about finding a grocery store for water. The hotel will try to push the "hop on hop off" bus tour on you. The hotel probably gets a nice commission from selling tickets because 2 or 3 people tried to sell it to me. I ended up taking the brochure for the tour, finding the 4 places I wanted to visit, and took a taxi to each location which cost substantially less than the bus tour.

The hotel has good location and warm personels. However, the hotel does not have a local taxi service for transport. The breakfast was very good and palatable.

Very good hospitality. Lovely rooms overlooking the river. Good breakfast.

We stayed two nights and had a late checkout on our third day. The staff were all very helpful, especially the reception desk staff who assisted us with a tour booking. The hotel is straight across the road from the Creek and close to the airport, too. It was great value for money.

We enjoyed our stay, staff was very friendly. The hotel was close to all the must see sights. Good place to stay for a few nights.

Très bon accueil, professionnel, excellente situation de l'hôtel, au bord de la Creek et à proximité des souks aux épices et de l'or. De nombreuses possibilités de restauration à proximité.

Das Hotel liegt im alten Bereich von Dubai und in der Nähe zur U-Bahn Station. Dies ist gerade bei den warmen bis heissen Tages-Temperaturen sehr wichtig. Es gibt zwei Kategorien von Zimmern. Zimmer mit Blick zum Creek und Zimmer auf der Rückseite des Hotels. Wir hatten Zimmer Rückseite des Hotels. Sehr ruhig. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut bestückt. Preis - Leistung sind optimal. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Bra och prisvärt hotell om du vill bo i Diera, gamla delen av Dubai alltså. Nära till närmaste metrostation och några hundra meter till röda linjen som går mot Dubai Mall m.m. Bra rymligt rum med det som behövs. Utsikt över souk är lite felvisande då det var utsikt mot ett parkeringshus och några höghus. Bra frukost i asiatisk stil med gott om varmrätter. Stort minus för att jag fick vänta 50 minuter efter incheckningstiden innan rummet var färdigstädat. Receptionen var inte heller särskilt hjälpsam när det inte gällde att sälja.

Situé en bordure de la Creek, je recommande particulièrement les chambres avec vue sur celles-ci. Les Souks de la vielle ville sont à proximité. Confortable et bien entretenu, cet hotel dispose d'un personnel courtois et serviable. Les chambres sont impeccables et sont équipées de tout le nécessaire de bien-être. Le metro est à 200 mètres de l'hotel et les taxis, bon marché à Dubai, sont toujours très nombreux le long de la Creek, de jour comme de nuit. De petites embarcations locales font la navette pour traverser la Creek et se rendre dans l'autre partie de la vieille ville. Les moyens de déplacement proche de l'hotel sont donc très nombreux et variés pour se rendre dans n'importe quel endroit de la ville.

Das Hotel Riviera ist sehr zentral am Creek gelegen und in wenigen Fahrminuten vom Flughafen aus mit dem Taxi zu erreichen. Hinter dem Hotel befindet sich direkt eine Metrostation und die Altstadt. Im Hotel arbeitet sehr freundliches Personal, welches sich jederzeit um die Wünsche der Gäste kümmert. Besonders zu erwähnen ist das große und reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet, welches keine Wünsche offen lässt.

ドバイには沢山のホテルがあり、選択に悩みましたが、初めてのドバイ訪問のため、日本人スタッフがいるというこのホテルを選びました。出発前から、日本語のメールの遣り取りで、色々教えていただきました。ホテルは、家庭的な感じです。日本人スタッフ以外の方でも、日本語が少し出来る方がおられたり、日本語の現地案内がフロントに置いてあったりして、日本人でドバイに不慣れな方には、是非おすすめしたいホテルです。朝食に、和食もあったのは、嬉しい驚きでした。

Sehr schönes, etwas älteres Hotel an zentraler Lage im traditionelleren Stadtteil Dubais, direkt am Creek. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

もう何度お世話になったか忘れるくらいリピートしてます。目の前はクリークで眺めもよく、アブラ乗り場に近いのも魅力です。建物は古いですが、お部屋も清潔、スリッパ、歯ブラシなどアメニティも充実してます。朝食には、ご飯、味噌汁、漬け物もあり日本人にはほっとします。なんといっても、日本人マネージャーさんのサポートにいつも助けられています。ドバイの最新情報など教えていただけますよ。

Schönes, altes Hotel mit sehr gutem Service in Toplage am Creek. Erhielten ungefragt kostenloses Upgrade (kleine Suite und Frühstück incl.). Hatten Zimmer mit Balkon zum Creek, wie gebucht. Problemloses Einchecken nachts um 2.30 Uhr. Creek, Altstadt und Metro leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wer, wie wir, alte Hotels mit Flair liebt, ist hier bestens aufgehoben.

スパイススーク、ゴールドスークも歩いてすぐ。ＢｉｇＢｕｓの乗り場も道の反対側で歩いて数分。アブラの乗り場も徒歩５分。２４Ｈｒスーパーの直ぐ。ロケーションは抜群です。日本人のスタッフのいらっしゃるのは心強い！部屋にはホテル周りの地図、スーパーや地下鉄の乗り場等が入ったの手作り地図がおいてあります。ベルボーイの方も部屋の使い方、説明は丁寧にしてくれました。（英語です。）アメニティー、スリッパ、バスローブも完備。さすが！　ホテルのレストランでの朝食は、日本食が食べられます。たくあん、柴漬け、梅干しはありがたかった。残念なのは、インターネットが有料なのと、ホテルでお酒が飲めないこと。レストランもお酒はありません。ネットチェックインした後、ＵＳＢにデータを入れて渡したら、ちゃんと印刷してくれました。ハガキの投函もお願いできました。日本人の団体さんと朝食が一緒でしたが、ツアーでも利用されているようです。

Fint sted å bo i Deira når en ønsker å komme nært det opprinnelige Dubai, dvs nært mange av soukene (gull, tekstil, krydder) samt fisketorvet. For en vestlig turist er det uvant å ikke få kjøpt alkohol (øl, vin) på hotellet, men nabohotellet hadde servering. Billig med taxi (maks 60 Dirham) som førte deg lett til Palmen, Burj Al Arab, Burj Kahlifa og Madinat Jumeira. Anbefales!

Flott hotell like i nærheten av gull marked og havnen i Dubai. Litt langt fra det "nye" Dubai hvor strand og uteliv foregår. Men det koster nesten ingen penger å ta drosje i Dubai; vi betalte aldri mer enn NOK 60,-uansett hvor vi skulle. Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening på hotellet som hjalp oss med alt vi trengte - info, bestillinger og service! Godt hotell til en grei pris.

アフリカから日本へのトランジットで朝、７時から夜１２時までの滞在で利用しました。早朝にもかかわらず、チェックインさせてもらい、翌朝はいないので、朝食もそのときにいただきました。ビュッフェスタイルでしたが、日本食もあり、ひとつひとつがとてもおいしく、たくさんいただきました。チェックイン後、シャワーを浴び、出かけたのですが、夕方帰ってみると、タオルが代えてありました。さらに夜でかけて１０時頃帰ると、ちょっとしたお菓子もおいてありました。細やかな心遣いに感動しました。ツアーなどの予約もしていただき、大満足でした。今度は、ゆっくり滞在したいと思います。

Hotellets personale var generelt meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Morgenbuffeten meget spændende, men mange forskellige retter. Beliggenheden er god både ved BIG BUS stop og tæt ved stop for vandbusser og abraer der sejler på tværs af creekén. Bestemt et hotel jeg gerne vil besøge igen, hvis jeg kommer til Dubai en anden gang.

年季は感じますが、部屋(W)もバスルームも1人利用には充分な広さで、バスローブやスリッパもセットされていましたし、とても寝心地の良いベッドでした。 日本人Mgrがいらっしゃるホテルなので、日本語のホテル案内、周辺MAPや地下鉄案内が用意されていたのが良かったです。朝食ビュッフェには私は他を選んで食べませんでしたが日本食もあり、部屋の無料ティーパックにも煎茶がありました。 気温35℃以上の季節にはユニオン駅までの徒歩7～8分も日中はキツイでしょうけど、アブラ乗場くらいなら歩けると思います。タクシーでホテルに向かう場合は、英語も諸々の場所もよく理解していないドライバーが多いので、このホテルに限らず超有名ホテル以外は名称で分かってもらえないことも多いと思いますので(発音したうえでホテルのカードキー入れを見せても現地語も英語も読めないようでリビエラホテルと把握してくれず、住所の通りも読めないまま。何度もリビエラと強調しているのに、ラディソンの前で「このラディソンか？」とか言われました；)ピンときてくれない場合はデイラでゴールドスーク近くでクリークやアブラ乗場の前、くらいは伝えないと近くまでも来れないかもです。私はそのうえで自分で窓外を見て、勢い良く通り過ぎられそうになるところを「あった！止めてー！」となりました。深夜到着・早朝出発し、深夜に預けた荷物を受け取りに戻った時で、周囲の状況とかホテルの位置なんてほとんど把握していませんでしたがなんとか見つけました。 老舗ホテルでもこうなので、これはこのホテルがあまり知られていないとかではなく、あまりに広大な都市で諸々把握していないドライバーが多いということです。「オールドスーク前のアブラ乗場」や「ジュメイラ・モスク」でさえ、言っても書いて見せてもなかなか分かってくれなかったりこっちが諦めたりしたので(といっても、ドライバーは皆きちんと制服を着て礼儀正しさはありますし、ボラれたり危険を感じたりはありません)ホテル名だけ連呼してもダメな場合は周辺や位置を具体的に伝えてみて下さい。フロントやベルは普通に良かったと思います。

Het personeel was echt vriendelijk en probeerde ons zo vlug mogelijk een kamer te bezorgen. We kregen zelfs een executive room vermits het ons eerste bezoek was. We mochten ook iets langer op de kamer blijven vermits we een nachtvlucht hadden geboekt. Internet was ook gratis per dag ongeveer 15 minutes. Metro is ook dicht in de buurt en geeft de mogelijkheid om op goedkope manier Dubai te verkennen. Bij een eventueel volgend bezoek aan Dubai zal ik zeker dit hotel terug boeken.

Sentral beliggenhet med direkte utsikt til Dubai Creek der man kan booke deilige dhow-cruise med god mat og underholdning. Utsikt tilBurj Khalifa, verden høyeste bygning, 832 m. ( Husk å booke inn billetter online i god tid på forhång !). Hop on-hop off bus rett utenfor hotellet. Lett å catche taxi.

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr zu empfehlen und lässt keine Wünsche übrig! Das Personal war stets freundlich.

We hadden het hotel geboekt op basis van de recensies op internet - goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding, vriendelijk personeel, uitstekend ontbijtbuffet (inbegrepen in de kamerprijs). Dit werd alles bevestigd - we hadden een mooie ruime kamer, het personeel was zonder uitzondering zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en het ontbijtbuffet was van zeer goede kwaliteit (voor een dergelijk buffet hebben we ook al eens een bedrag betaald waarvoor we hier de kamer hadden inclusief ontbijt). Daarnaast is ook het restaurant (Hana) aan te bevelen - prima kaart, goed bereid, en niet duur. De ligging van het hotel is ook gunstig, dicht bij de kruiden- en goud soeks, aan de Creek bij de oude haven van Deira, op een kwartiertje per taxi van downtown (Dubai Mall). Als je het niet erg vindt dat je geen alcoholische dranken kan bestellen in het hotel, is dit zeker een aanrader!
