Clean & cheap room with basic amenities in a very nice neighborhood , everything thing you want is in walking distance , Starbucks, bowling alley, Kinko's , next to Max Rail station , grocery store , burger king , library , gym the list go's on.

open drain cover presented a major tripping problem - needs to be corrected before someone trips & falls. Maintence door left open to basement area. Office staff very helpful in getting us into a first floor room, as there was a person using a walker in the party.Quiet so very easy to sleep.

this hotel was cheap so i expected it to be pretty bad. the bed was really pretty comfortable (i expected a super hard mattress with really flat pillows). the bathroom in our room was recently remodeled, that was an unexpected surprise. the location is a tiny bit less than ideal because it is on a one way street so you have to drive around a bit depending on where youre coming from but it wasnt too bad at all. my one complaint was that the TV was really dark and there was no way to adjust it but no big deal.

It's a cheap motel and the pool was under maintenance. I'm sure it has been like that forever. We weren't surprised. Rooms were ugly and old but they were clean enough. Slept well, AC worked. For the $$ it's not that bad, we didn't spend much time there anyway.

I was completely disgusted with the cleanliness of our room. The towels were stained brown. There were holes and urine stains all over the bedspread. The bath tub spout was all crooked and broken. When I talked to the manager, all she offered was clean linens. I had to threaten to stay somewhere else in order for her to switch our room. Even after she switched our room, the towels still had brown stains on them. Also, two of our friends followed us to the hotel because we were dropping off our car and belongings before going to a friends house. Before I could even make it out of my car, the manager came running out saying that they had to leave. On top of all that, the manager told me not to party in that room. I realize that I'm young but it is completely unacceptable to discriminate like that.

Its not far from downtown Portland, great price, quiet and convenient. Extremely helpful staff. They bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable. Gotta love Oregon

Unfortunately, we found this hotel sub-standard. Mold in the showers, rust in the pipes, grunge in the shampoo and soap dispenser, hair on the walls in the showers, mold on electrical appliances, just plain dirty. Will not stay there again.

...but that's about all you're getting. This place ain't the Ritz...and the pool is out of order (covered permanently). We were picking a place last minute and this was as close as we could get to our target location. It was fine.

Our "non-smoking" room still reeked of smoke. The beds are old and there were only 2 flat pillows per bed. refrigerator was way too cold and froze our food. rooms weren't thoroughly cleaned and the linens and towels were stained. and to top it all off the clerk tried to accuse us of having an extra person in the room when I came to pick up my mom.

room smelled so bad of cigarette smoke, we went to the store and got air freshener, it didn't even touch the smell. i had trouble breathing all night.

I was told check out time was 11:00 am.....the motel staff opened our door at 10:15 and we were still in bed. We could have been naked. So I was a little disappointed with that. My 19 year old was mortified. Thank god she heard the clerk the day before tell us check out time was 11:00 am. They were wrong in doing that.

Staff was helpful and concerned when my wife became ill and was hospitalized for four days. We spent 10 days and think you should consider this Hotel if you're not looking for a lot of amenites but just a nice place to sleep while visiting friends or family, or sight seeing. I give this Hotel a (3) *** star rating at the least.

The Hotel staff worked with me as I researved a king room with smoking. Upon arrivial there was none and i had to get a double queen smoking instead. The mirrors and Pictures were suppose to be on the wall, but instead on the floor by the secound bed..I didnt understand why this was. The had a clean bathroom with a push button for shampoo and body wash, which were the exactly the same meaning I probably was washing my body with shampoo. No lotion was given and no hot coffee as well. I will not stay here again. thanks

Decent for the price. The only thing I didn't like was that there were ants in the rooms, not many but enough to be anoying. If you are ok with that not a bad place for the price

was able to book single room on line then told we had to have 2 rooms when arrived. hotel has some upgrades attempted but needs finished. bed very uncomfortable

Pros: Cheap, easy access to highway Cons: Run down, caulk around shower moldy, mattress worn out, box spring filthy stained uncovered, non smoking room but almost everything had burns in it from furniture to the bedding, VERY noisey no sound deadening at all, door locked but didnt close all the way watched light and shadows around it all night, pillows more worn out than mattress, you must be totally worn out to sleep to at all then the train will come by and wake you up again.

Old, needs renovation. But clean and convenient. to lots of things in east Portland. TV was blurry, and no coffee in the morning. Basically a convenient place to sleep.

Freeway noise: unavoidable because of the location. But very good price, and a satisfactory room.

The only good point about this motel is stand on near portland.It takes only 20 munites by MAX.Except of that,there is all terrible.My english is not good, but I know what terrible is mean.There is nothing tables,chairs and main lightning.Maybe they doesn't know only reading lamps are not enough.Floor has warp.Long hair were on my pillow.My hair is ought to be short.Bedmaker seems often rest.Today's my bed has second day.The worst point is smell.This motel sthinks urine and smoke.This motel's non-smoking room smells smoke.If it non-smoking's smoke means marijuana, that is correct.I always feel ill during stay here by these smell.Altogether this room is dirty.Do you want to experience terrible?Here is.

The hotel was very clean and the service was great. It is not a five star hotel, but it is a good hotel with that price.
