We would not recomend this hotel. The price should be $50 or less for the quality of the hotel.

A small room in a small town. Just enough room for a bed and that's all.

Such a disappointment! Pictures are nothing like the room. The room was so small we barely had room for our luggage. The light didn't work, the shower took 10 full minutes of running to get warm, the shower handle fell off in my hand while trying to adjust temperature. In no way, shape, or form was this a good deal. I have been to the island for the marathon and other occasions more than 20 times and have never stayed in a place so disappointing.

Excellent service and was informed it was under new management. Staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean and nice.

I am not picky when it comes to hotels. But at the Seacrest in we found hair in the sheets, and hair in the bathroom. On top of this the Inn is in need of a deep clean. There is dust just caked all around the door frames inside the room. Overall I was disappointed and wished I had listened to the reviews before I purchased.

Luckily we were expecting small but small was a misnomer, the room was barely big enough to get around the bed. It was ok though since we didn't spend much time at the room. The rooftop was nice and the location was perfect!

Would not come back to this hotel for a second stay. The room was small, cramped, and generally uncomfortable: in between the queen-sized bed and the walls was a space of two feet or less. The AC-unit didn't work: it was basically just another fan. The toilet clogged and flooded on us after we peed in it, and when we called for the manager to solve the issue, he asked us why we didn't just mop it up (we couldn't because we only had only been provided two towels in the room). Then after he mopped it up with towels he got from their supply closet, he tried to leave and we had to ask him to sanitize the bathroom. He used windex to do so. The continental breakfast that the hotel serves is quite unsatisfying. The fruit was fairly bruised, the orange juice tasted terrible (when I went to toss mine away, the rubbish bin was filled with other cups that had unfinished OJ in them), and the pastries looked stale. For the amount we paid, we could have gone to Vegas and easily gotten a spacious and comfortable room. If we had added a bit more to what we paid for that room, we could have gotten a room in a better hotel directly by the beach. That's what we should have done.

The staff was welcoming and very helpful. The location was not on the main street however, it was walking distant from all venues of the island. We used the hot tub (fits 2!) and the rooftop patio was secluded and boy did I get a tan! I would stay here again.

At first I was concern with reviews on this hotel, but now that i have stayed in the hotel I would do it again and again. Roger took care of us as we stepped in the Hotel gave us some direction as to how to go about the Island, thing to do and see. Thank you Roger. We had a great time.

This one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in. The room ws very small and poorly laid out. The bathroom mirror had stains all over it. The cabimets in the room were broken. The sheets were frayed and had holes in them. The towels were the same. The bed cover and dust ruffle were dirty. Horrible defered maintence. Would never stay there again and the room not worth what we paid for it. This property is an insult to be in your line up of properties for the rating.

This room was described as having a canopy bed and sitting area. It had neither. It was small and dark. There was one chair that had to be moved to get into the closet. The closet had a refrigerator in it and some kind of box so that long garments could not hang properly. The tub faucet leaked and when I went to take a bath I saw two different rings around the tub. It hadn't been cleaned since the previous occupants. Also there was some kind of black crud on the wall behind the trash can in the toilet area. There were no night stands beside the bed as there wasn't room for them. The door opened within inches of the bed. The location was great, especially if you take the ferry. They have a sign saying they WON"T store your luggage before or after check-in, but they did for us.

I was really disappointed in the Seacrest. But, I'm not one that is fond of antiques and old lady decor. I travel weekly and would have to say this would be a 2 rating if not for the location. We stayed in the garden room. This meant there was an old tattered floral bed cover. The bathroom had been remodel and was nice. It has a two person jacuzzi tub but we didn't use it. I was pleased to see robes were provided. The floor is tile but has a large area rug on it. I really don't think it had ever been cleaned. I put towels over it as it grossed me out to walk on it. There is a roof top deck that has seating and you can BBQ your own food. This does require a fee. We didn't use this area. The room is small, but I think most of the rooms on the island are small. I did sleep very well with earplugs.

This is a very unique hotel. I used to be a private home and is very unusual design. There are only 2 rooms on the ground floor and the stairs to the other rooms are steep and narrow. The cost is a little too steep for the room.

ROOM, SUPPOSEDLY LARGEST IN THE INN, WAS MUCH TOO SMALL, NOISY, AND NOT TOO CLEAN......BUT VERY CLOSE TO BEACH AND ALL THE GOOD STUFF...RESTAURANTS ON BEACH EXCELLENT AND NOT OVER PRICED....GOLF CARTS $40 PER HOUR....A BIG RIPOFF!!! .... ZIP LINE IS A HOOT AND WELL WORTH THE PRICE....BIGGEST RUSH IS THE FIRST STEP OFF INTO SPACE WONDERING IF ALL THE TACKLE WAS PROPERLY INSTALLED IN YOUR BODY....YES I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE BECAUSE THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE

Overall this hotel was comfortable but some changes need to be made in housekeeping. Staff needs to clean floors/carpets better.We had to ask twice for facecloths and one of the clean towels was dirty,and stack of large towels on bathroom counter was damp.Continental breakfast was bare minimum.Our room needed a luggage stand.

The rooms were small, but met our needs. The manager, Roger, was very helpful under the circumstances.... Hotel.com was responsible for booking us in 2 different rooms. On our second day, we had to pack up our belongings by 11:00 am and move to another room (where check-in was at 3:00 pm). Very inconvenient. Hotel.com also promised me our room would have an ocean view....well, none of the rooms there have an ocean view. I was extremely up set with hotel.com. Roger from the Seacrest was apologetic but couldn't undo what Hotel.com did...booking us in 2 different rooms. I will never use hotel.com again. But I would recommd the Seacrest Inn...I would just call them directly.

GREAT ROOM.NICE MANAGMENT, ALSO MOST OF ALL THE ROOF VIEW WAS RELAXING.NEXT TIME I HAVE TO BBQ ON THE ROOF

This was my first time visiting Catalina Island/Avalon and I had a great time. The Seacrest Inn is a great location. Not too far of a walk from the docks. Its got a great roof deck view of the bay and the hotel reception/manager Roger was great! We had the mermaid room which was a little small but it was fine since we didn't spend that much time in the room. we were out in the sun in Avalon.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at the Seacrest Inn and we will be back! The staff is really nice, they make you feel very welcome and the room was small but clean, very cozy, we stayed in The Retreat. They did their best to let us in prior to our check in time, it was a life saver because we were dying for a nap! We loved the top patio, it has an awesome view especially at night, we even saw 2 deer running down the street while we were up there late one night it was great! Love this place!

we enjoyed our stay and was close to everything in avalon. Room looked recently remodled and was very clean. cute small room. Having the two person jacuzzi tub was great. we had a larger room and was very happy about that. will return.

They will not check your bags for you. Considering checkout is at 11, it is inconveniencing.

We are arrived early and Roger checked us in with no problem. The room was fair size and the King size bed was very comfortable. The room had small TV, VCR, and minifridge. The continental breakfast is typical: cereal, bagels, etc. The Inn is two blocks from the beach and close to all the shops and restaurants. The area was quiet and the room did not share any walls with other rooms; no noise from other guests.

un ferry excursion across from Dana Point to Catalina. A short walk to the hotel was easy with a comfy, romantic room with a good continental breakfast. Highly recommend the entire trip! An easy walk from the Seacrest Inn to EVERYTHING! Seacrest Inn also has an AMAZING roof top sitting area to enjoy some sun or an evening under the stars. YAHOOTIES!!!!

Cute hotel.Right in the heart of Catalina. In walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Huge soaking tub was nice. Private entrance to room. Romantic setting for couples.
