Rooms were just a little small, but the crown molding and small touches made the stay very nice. You won't be disappointed.

Did not get the room i paid for and when we got there it was one nightmear after another.. People above us stomped on the floor till 5:00am got no sleep and no help to make it better..

Dated needs a freshining up

Good place for the money. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. It is a bit of a walk downtown but a safe and nice neighborhood to walk in.

The hot tub was very nice and the folks who work here are exceptionally friendly, that I will start with. The bed was similar to sleeping on cardboard and what little sleep I was able to get on it was disrupted by the constant barrage of employees running up and down the stairs and slamming doors to prepare breakfast starting at 5am. They were nice enough to give us late checkout because we were unable to sleep past 5am but it certainly put a damper on the birthday celebration I had planned for the following day as we were wrecked from not sleeping.

We had an amazing time. The rooms were nice, the pool area very relaxing and clean. Will stay again.

Hotel was clean and inexpensive. Only a couple of minutes to town, plus an indoor pool and hot tub. Only complaint is the abundance of kids playing in and around hot tub (not relaxing for the adults).

Nice pool and spa, very clean. Great breakfast.

The Hotel was very clean with comfortable beds. The free Wi-Fi, clean pool and hot tub made our stay all the more relaxing and enjoyable. The fitness center and suana was very clean as well. The continental breakfast fetaured more selections than I expected, with the ability to make your on waffles, cereals, bagels, pastries and fruits. I would definately stay there again.

Much better that anticipated after reading other reviews. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and modestly priced. The breakfast was simple yet very nice. My family was very happy. Thank you

the hotel was great.. My only complaints would be the bathroom, it was so small .. you have to step into the bathtub to close the door.. also to use the pool and the fitness center you need to get a differant swipe key from the desk.. your room key doesnt open those doors.. but everything else was great.. the breakfest , rooms and service was all outstanding..

I will stay again.. Staff was nice and very friendly. Rooms are clean.. I was on a business trip and needed a few hours of rest in between shifts so peaceful was able to get rest.

The room was disgusting! The only thing that looked clean was the bed sheets. The hotel staff at the front desk were rude and very unprofessional.

Had a great stay. Pool was great for intertaining the grandson. Easy access. Will definately go back next trip.

POOL AREA WAS BEAUTIFUL NEAT AND CLEAN. Would and have recommended to friends.

We've stayed here many times before, even brought the kids years ago. It's a great place for a middle of winter get away. Very affordable, clean, rooms were great with kitchen included. Also liked the fact we could get a king room that allowed smoking and had windows that open, to let the room air out. The spa and pool were great. Love coming here in the winter, it's very quiet. Also like to do our day shopping trip to Kittery which is minutes away. Very pleasant stay.

I was pleasantly surprised how very nice my stay was for the price I paid. All areas were clean and very nicely keep. The staff was so helpful and kind. I would stay again should I come back to the area. A great place. Thanks for making my stay so great.

Room was small but neat and clean. Good location near NH state liquor store and major highways. Pool and spa looked nice, but I didn't use it. You will need to drive or take a cab to downtown Portsmouth. Plenty of parking. Free breakfastet better than average. Front desk very helpful and friendly. I would certainly stay here again, it was fine.

Room was clean, comfy and quiet. Hotel layout is a bit odd but no biggie. Also was the first hotel in years where they didn't require a security deposit hold on a card for the room. Definitely recommend.

Very satisfied. All the amenities. Clean. Good staffing.

FIRST ROOM WE WERE IN SMELLED LIKE DIRTY FEET - BUT CLERK QUICKLY MOVED US TO ANOTHER ONE WHICH WAS PERFECT! QUIET HOTEL AND PET FRIENDLY!

The room was clean, and the staff were quite helpful in pointing out things to do.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, the staff made us feel welcomed and special. Upon our arrival, Tom at the check-in desk was so friendly and helpful that we knew immediately we had chosen the perfect place for our three night stay. Tom had many wonderful suggestions for places to see, and good places to eat. We also enjoyed the fact that the hotel was so close to Kittery, Maine, we had a great time there shopping and touring the neighborhoods. Portsmouth, NH was also a delightful town to explore, and the eclectic nature of the shops and restaurants was extremely enjoyable. The fall folliage was a beautiful backdrop for our highly enjoyable trip.

After reading a lot of negative reviews I was very skeptical about staying here but I ran into none of the issues that caused the bad comments. The staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast had many choices. The room was clean and cleaned every day. The price was very reasonable for the area. The room was a bit small but nice and updated with a new bathroom area. The pool area was great. I would stay there again.

the only drawback was that the room was a little cramped...I was amazed at how much furniture was in the room (wardrobe, table, desk, small table, fridge, TV and stand with drawers). I think if just the small table was taken out, there'd be plenty of room.

The hotel is not far from the center of town, easy to get to. The rooms are small by today's standards, but clean; don't hope for high def. Beverage and snack dispensing machines in hallways. Hotel takes no responsibility for $ lost in dispensing machines, you must call vendor. Pool and hot tub were great, fitness room a joke. Continental breakfast ok, althought the pastries seemed to be...recycled from day to day. So...if you look for an economical hotel, this is the way to go, if you want more, look around for alternatives as there are plenty to go around.

This hotel was a nightmare! Stinky, extremely dated, staff were very unpleasant at check in and the bathroom was dirty (hairs in shower and "dirt" on toilet seat. Only positive was a mediocre continental breakfast. We will never stay there again and will definitely not recommend it. The children traveling with us were "creeped out" by this place and could not wait to leave, they were not even comfortable enough to shower there. Definitely not worth what we paid. Pool was extremely small and the accessibility was horrible with many entrances with stairs and no elevator. Stay away from this hotel!!!!!

Hotel is clean with basic accomodations. Pool with nice rock area. Grounds are well kept. Room was clean, but small and basic by today's amenity standards - newish blond oak-type furniture, linoleum on the bath floor. Lots of families with kids were there.

Hotel was nice however the rooms could have been cleaner and could use some updating. Although we did not use the pool it looked nice and clean.
