Great hotel for an overnight layover in Vienna. Easy acccess to the city center from the CAT train located right in front of the hotel and even easier access to get to flight in the AM.

Convenient location excellent breakfast expensive parking fee

I have stayed at the NH Vienna occasionally since 1996. During that time I must say that the hotel has not aged well. While the public spaces are nice the rooms are quite dated. The fitness, spa area is also not up to the quality expected in a hotel at this star rating and price. Because of the location there is likely little motivation to update the hotel but I hope the needed changes will be made.

Great Hotel.... everything was absolutely perfect for an overnight layover. If you are spending more than 1 day in Vienna you will want to migrate to a hotel downtown. The City to Airport Train is fast and easy but only travels 30 minutes and can be costly if you are making to and from trips on multiple days... I will stay again for overnight layovers!

I needed to leave from Vienna at 6:55 AM and therefore wanted a hotel near the airport. This one is perfect. You simply walk out of the hotel front door, cross the street and you are at the airport. They allowed early check-in with a 10 Euro per hour fee. Hotel restaurant was good.

We were so pleased to find a large comfortable room waiting for us when we checked it. The hotel is very convenient to the Vienna Airport and we had no trouble getting to our gate in time. Staff was friendly and helpful. We recommend this hotel to anyone flying out of Vienna.

All good but the restaurant was VERY expensive, even for Vienna.

Overall excellent. I only overnighted between flights so only needed convenience of location. NH is much more than that. Restaurant was a bit expensive but that may only be Vienna.

Very good price for the comfort and services offered, very clsoe to check in, maybe 200 to 300 meters walk to the terminal doors. Very helpfull staff! FREE INTERNET! i think it does say something different on the website. thou can be a little slow... If you want something to eat apart from the restaurants in the Hotel, you have a couple of nice causual eating area's in the airport itself plus McDonalds. Also there is a Spar Gourmet(Super Market) in the terminal where you can pick up a very nice salad, freshly cut meats and cheese plus a bottle of beer or so. Highly recomended for a short stay when coming in or out of the Airport.

Surprising excellent hotel. I did not expect a well run hotel, prejudiced by past airport hotel stays with the best chains, and thus was very pleased. The price value was very good.

Enjoyed the stay as it was near both Vienna and Bratislava. However the quality of the "free" internet was so terrible it what more or less unuseable, and when reading the Wifi voucher I noticed the limit was up to 128Kbit?!?!? That is what my ISDN2 back in 1998 gave me, this is 15 years later what are you thinking?

The hotel is simple, clean and with decent food - the location is perfect for those who travel next day and want to avoid the long drive from the city right before checkin in - you can even check in all luggage the night before so you just go straight to the gate the next day ... snart service. The rooms are clean but too plain, almost ugly - 3 twin beds on a row and a bathroom - but you get what you pay for...

Very convenient location if you change flights and have an overnight/long wait. I would say it was rather expensive for what you get but it was not bad in any particular way. I guess the price goes up with the brand and the location. They offered wake-up call without even asking for one, which was very helpful. The staff is excellent. The TV is really old and looks funny in this kind of hotel.

Not a leisure hotel. Superb location for the airport (one minutes walk to the terminal). Good rooms. Expensive for food and drink.

We were really glad we booked it because we only had one night and were able to go to Vienna and not carry our luggage. It is right across the street from the airport. We rolled out luggage across the street and took public transportation to Vienna and saw the wonderful sites, ate the wonderful food and really enjoyed our 24 hour stay. Comfortable bed and nice people.

Location, location, location!!! 1 minute walk to the terminal. No car or shuttle needed!

Needs better T.V. programing

My stay was OK - I was not impressed knowing the NH Hotels in other countries and they offer a certain style. No real reason to be negative, but I felt it was average compared to the image I had in mind/know of NH Hotels. But for a short meeting/stay at the airport the location is very good and convenient if you travel by plane. Hotel was clean, amenities I cannot comment, since not used. Service ok, but not spectacular - average I would say

If you have an early morning flight this is where to stay. Word of caution. The airport is set up in an unusual and confusing way so I would strongly recommend you do a dry run to your airline's counter if you have to check bags or get a boarding pass. If we did not we might have missed our flight.

This hotel was very comfortable and a great location for flying. It was quiet too even though it is right at the airport.

I was warned that the hotel is really bad and the rating is overstated, but the convenience of the location next to the airport outweighed my choice. The conclusion: its terrible! Rooms are dirty, badly maintained and truly outdated. The sound proofing is probably the thing that annoyed me the most. Loud sounds from the airplanes (windows not properly closing) combined with thin walls (where you hear the tv etc from your neighbours) make it a difficult night to sleep. Unfortunately, they have a monopoly on the airport area so they probably dont care.

Very brief. I am from the US and I was disappointed about the governance of the Air Condition ..... It was hot and I was miserable.

Excellent location! Walking distance from the airport. I will stay there again, when I have to spend a night in Vienna while en route.

Best shower ever at the spa, it has twelve heads hitting you from all directions!! And it's included in your stay, bring a swim suit and relax before your trip or wind down as you're coming in to this beautiful city!!!

I have stayed here before. The rooms on one side are all new and are far superior to the older ones. Will defiantly stay again.

This is an excellent hotel with convenience to the airport which is a short walk across the street. Despite the location, there is not airport noise. Previous reviews stated that you must pay for wi-fi. However, since Aug. 1, 2012 it is free access and it worked well. I highly recommend this hotel with no complaints. I would definitely stay there again.
