Sugar Beach Resort - Maui Condo & Home - קיהיי

Clean, comfortable room with a great ocean-front view. Great value. I would stay there again.

Our unit was owned by an efficiency expert and it showed in so many detail. I paticularly loved the spices and condiments in this well stocked kitchen. We had a view of the pool and Kihei bay. For a large complex, we never felt the crush of people. A beautiful peaceful place with miles of beach.

Overall the stay was great, We thought we had paid higher rate for a renovated room by the pictures that were advertised on hotels.com. When we checked in it was the unrenovated room they had advertised at a cheaper price. We were disapointed but when we contacte Maui home and condo they showed us a room that had a few updates and offered us to switch. The view was better from the original room and we already moved in so we didnt switch.The room was fairly clean but definetly worn out and could have used a carpet wash or tile through out. Overall it didnt ruin or holiday and still had a great time in Maui with so much to do. The resort it self was well maintained with pool and hot tube in great shape. Very nice views of the ocean but a little far for nightlife and resturants.

Condo was beautifully-situated, very clean and well-maintained with lots of thoughtful extras. Ocean-front location is ideal.

Right on the beach, fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer in room, bbqs for grilling up local fresh fish, excellent central location to reach all activities easily by car. We loved the balcony for coffee in the morning and sunsets at night. Great location for anyone who doesn't need the high profile of big resorts. Get the ocean view or oceanfront rooms, not first floor if you want the view. Room/maid service is extra.

The price was affordable. Room was clean. Definitely having laundry was great for kids. We had neighbors but had no idea they were there unless we passed them outside. In the middle of the island, so it was very convenient to drive to any beach or tourist attraction.

We enjoyed our stay. Room 209 was an excellent room.

Loved the room, and being right on the beach. Room was very well maintained as well as pool area. Front office staff very helpful. Small office on site to book excursions as well and they were very helpful in planning out our time. Local store was another matter entirely, as they pretty much opened and closed whenever they saw fit for our first few days there and then closed completely for the majority of our visit. Would not have been a big deal outside of the fact that we only rented a vehicle for part of our trip expecting to spend most of our time on the local beach. The condo unit is located quite a ways from the next closest market and we were VERY frustrated that the resort promoted an on-site market and then failed to deliver. With 2 small children we needed that service that was expected. We definitely plan to return to Maui but will be selecting a different condo closer to all the action.

We enjoyed our stay with the beach view. It was really nice to have a kitchen. Having the beach to walk along was a great way to spend an evening.

The resort was very conveniently located and our unit was very comfortable for the two of us. What would have helped a lot is the correct address. After traveling for 19 hours, arriving in the dark @ 11 pm Maui time (5am our time)', it was just by luck the we were directed to the resort by the clerk @ the ABC store. The resort is located on North Kiheil Rd not South Kiheil RD! Also, the unit numbers in the first building are all even numbers. Ours was 217. I could finf 216 & 218 but not 217! My husband finally figured it out and we found the correct unit in another building. This would have been valuable info to have in the middle of the night!

Ocean front room with excellent view. But we found a 1/2" cockroach at kitchen at first night. Then, another 1" cockroach (big one) in bed room at second night. My wife had nightmare at the night. I reported the manger. Her response was they do pest control every 3 months with no apology.... No good memory

We stayed at this place during 2nd part of our trip. This resort is kind of a condo and resort place with a massage & food joint place attached. Nice pool and Nice view of the beach. You will like if you are looking for a calm and not much happening beach. It is very near to harbor where you get to lot of activities like snorkel, whale watch, fishing or any other adventure sports. Parking is free and food places and shopping places are only couple of miles away if you like to go for shopping. There is not much in the immediate surroundings but like I said it is a calm and not much happening resort. bed room, kitchenette, bathrooms, living room etc, everything was clean and wonderful, we had no problem at all whatsoever. We mostly were outside doing some or other activity because of so many things nearby.

We stayed at Sugar Beach on the recommendation of a friend. Other than taking one wrong turn on the way in (you have to go straight toward Lahaina instead of turning south on S.Keihe, then turn into the drive just past the big Sugar Beach sign), we had no problems at all. We were in PH19, and it was great! Beautiful view of the beach only a hundred feet away. Well-stocked room, all the comforts of home, plus palm trees. The activity director was very helpful. Very friendly staff. Appreciated the convenience of the little general store nearby. Be sure to try the Hawaiian Ice! Check out the small fruit stand immediately to the west. Convenient location for trips to Kahului (plan to catch a baseball game if the Maui team is in town), Lahaina, and Haleakala NP. Nice new boardwalk along the beach, part of Kealia NWR. We enjoyed being in the agricultural region of the island.

部屋には，洗濯機・乾燥機・食器・炊事道具など，一部の調味料を除くありとあらゆるものが完備してあり，すこぶる便利でした。ホテル前のビーチは，穏やかな天気の場合，白浜ではないですが，きれいです。近くに大型ショッピングセンターもあり，マウイでのんびり過ごすにはいいと思います。ちなみに日本人を含め，東洋人が皆無でした。これも，またハワイらしくなくていい感じでした。

Der Aufenthalt im Sugar Beach Resort war traumhaft. Wir waren dort gut eine Woche und die Anlage ist perfekt. Wir hatten ein super Condo (Ferienwohnung) direkt am Meer und in erhöhter Lage. Die Wohnung war super eingerichtet. Getrenntes Schlafzimmer, schönes Bad, Küche, Wohnzimmer.. Alles war perfekt. Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl. Den Whirlpool kann man bis 21.30 Uhr benutzen und dieser ist ca. 45°C - war herrlich. Auch die Poolanlage ist ok. Ins Meer kann man bei diesem Hotel nicht gut, da es Riff hat und nicht so schön ist zum Baden. Aber wer auf Maui reist, ist es perfekt. Denn es hat viele schöne Strände - auch in der Nähe des Hotels. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder im Sugar Beach logieren.
