The hotel is clean nice and affordable.

Overall great place to stay. The only and major problem was the parking.I would not recommend the Inn for people who need to have parking available. Parking is very limited.

This is a trip for my college visiting. The hotel located on the Temple University campus. Just by 5 mins walk you can get to the train station which can bring you to many locations in Philadelphia including the PHL airport.

I loved it, it was oddly on a college campus, allowed dogs (I have a 55lb Aussie) and next to the metro, I felt safe walking my dog by myself where at my apartment which i don't, the room was set up amazing. Will stay again!

It was a lovely hotel. We booked two rooms, and the person who checked us in switched them by accident, but we rectified that ourselves (single vs. double with a small dog). It was very safe with tons of police patrolling, and cheap, fast college-town restaurants. If you wanted a lovely sit-down dinner, there was nothing within walking distance, but the theatre and supermarket were close by and you could catch the subway 2 blocks away to the Reading Terminal and Convention Center. I'd definitely stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Conwell. Probably the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in (I actually was able to sleep, without building a futon out of bedspreads). The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Continental breakfast was a bit scant, but adequate (it was Continental after all). The hotel is next door to the campus police station, so security was not an issue, at least on campus, and there is a 7-11 next door to the hotel, as well. There were only two things I could say that are negative: 1) the WiFi was very poor (and the building made phone service and air-card service problematic as well); 2) they really should publish the "old" address (1331 West Berks Ave.), without which, my GPS (TomTom) took me into some very sketchy neighborhoods, and an hour out of the way (with the Berks address, went right to it.

I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of my room. The floor needed vacuuming and the beds had not been changed. The beds were made up as if they were, but when you pulled back the covers, there were hairs and specks of dirt on the sheets, and appeared slept on. The bathroom sink was very sluggish and the whole room needed dusting. Students passing by after 11:00 pm, making a lot of noise. Would not recommend nor will I ever book there again.

Was not told ahead of time that you needed to reserve parking - had to park 3 blocks away and pay - once over that the hotel itself was very nice and quiet.

After having had a first little doubt about the area, where the hotel is located, we have been completely satisfied about the nice buildings at atmosphere in the court of the hotel, which is located within the Temple University. Staff at the reception desk should be more proactive. All food has been stored in the cupboard nearby the coffee machine on the floor, which is not really hygenic. Otherwise, very nice hotel.

I highly suggest visiting their website beforehand to receive directions to the hotel. The address listed does not show up on GoogleMaps or GPS. The hotel is located on Temple University and it is next door to campus security. Upon checking in, the hotel staff member was incredibly helpful with providing public transit maps and suggestions on food/restaurants. The room was blasting A/C when entering, which I love! Beds were comfy and the bathroom was nice. I would definitely recommend and book again!

Great hotel. Very well maintained. Room is huge !! The staff there (I assume are mostly college students) are VERY nice and helpful ! It's located in temple university, yes, literally inside the school !! It's prob. one of the few safe places to be in the surrounding environment. Conveniently located near subway and bus stations. One more note, the food in center campus is so awesome !

The Conwell Inn is a must-stay hotel if you are visiting Temple University as it is located right in the university. It also is located very near access to the user friendly subway system for travel to the rest of Philadelphia. Although it has no amenities such as a pool, restaurant, or bar, its charm, personable staff, and quality rooms make up for those shortcomings. A must if you are staying here is to reserve a parking space as the spots next to the hotal are limited.

Its a nice little hotel, but the location isn't great. Even GoogleMaps couldn't find it. Be sure to reserve a parking space when you make your reservation because there aren't enough spaces for everyone and the closest parking garage is 3 blocks away.

This was my second stay at the Conwell. I love the convenience to the dorms and enjoyed staying there.

This Inn was even better than we were expecting. Obviously, they have improved since some of the negative reviews I had read. By phone and in person EVERY employee was just super. The entire place is immaculate and the room was beautiful. The bed and pillows were too hard for me but that is a personnal thing. My husband thought they were fine. It was a very easy walk to the subway and they had a taxi waiting for us when we checked out. They are A+++++. If we ever get back to Philly we will definately call them first. They are located next to a police sub station on Temple University's campus and we always felt very safe.

A descent place to stay, except it needs a serious facelift and, even though the subway will take you to where the attractions are, it is not in an attractive place except if your trip is about visiting the university,The room was dark and the dark carpet didn't help.

I was very happy! Extras all cost money though. That means cots (even if you reserve for 4 in a single room, cots are still more $$), a fridge ($10/night), parking ($18/night), etc. All extra. Breakfast is included though. The hotel is very clean, the staff were all really helpful. This is on a college campus so you can't drive right up to the hotel, but you can get pretty close if you make the right turns (it can be hard to find their parking, call for directions..). It's also about a 40 min. walk from center city, but walking is good, right?

Very nice hotel, however very hard to find. I feel you need a bigger sign on Broad St. While I was checking in the clerk had 2 calls for directions off of Broad St. I was very glad you had security right under the hotel and I will stay at The Conwell again. Last year we stayed at the Comfort Inn along the river. People off the streets were lying around on the loby furniture, needless to say this years experience was very good.

This was my second time staying at the Conwell Inn and the room I got was huge, had very friendly staff who were willing to help out with every need and I was even engaged in conversation by one of them one my back to my room to a 20 minute conversation. Great place to stay, great service, great spot, you won't go wrong.

water pressure in shower was below par--new shower head needed perhaps. Mainenance quickly attended to requests though wasn't always able to correct the problem.

The room was excellent, staff was courteous, and everything was what I expected and far better I am really considering staying here for my next stay.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was near a subway station. Hotel and room were nice and well maintained. Exceptions were: the elevator was out of order during our visit, the shower curtain in our room was moldy, and a curtain was falling off the rod.

The hotel location right within walking distance to Temple University facilities is what I like most. However, parking for guests of the hotel should have been provided free like in other hotels in the area.

Located in the heart of campus, this is a great location for anyone visiting Temple U. We also found it great for exploring Philly in general. The neighborhood surrounding the university appears rough at first glance, but we had no issues whatsoever getting around safely. The hotel itself was quaint, clean, and had a very helpful staff.

The Conwell Inn is a nice in right on the campus of Temple University, which makes it very convenient for visiting parents. There are no immenities (refrigerator in room, pool, etc.) but the staff is friendly, respectful, and helpful, and the Inn is very clean. It can be a bit noisy at night with student activities, but the noise level is not too bad. They have a very limited continental breakfast, and I found nowhere within walking distance for a decent breakfast. Outside the campus, the neighborhood is not a good one. It is in decay, unfortunately, like many areas of Philadelphia. I have stayed at the Inn twice, and would recommend it for those who just need a nice room, and want to be on or close to campus.

Не могу припомнить хоть чего-нибудь, что вызвало отрицательные эмоции. 5 из 5. Завтрак не очень плотный, но его хватило до середины дня

大学の敷地の中にあり、環境もよく、夜の歩行も安心。快適に過ごせた。欠点は周辺に食料品を購入できる店がないこと。

Hotel che si trova all'interno della templi university, nella media, stanza grande, bagno piccolo. Qualità del sonno: bassa, nel senso che la nostr finestra dava proprio sul viale principale e sotto c'erano dei locali per cui se riposare di pomeriggio non è possibile. Parcheggio 15$ ma è possibile anche parcheggiare in strada, attenzione ai cartelli! Abbiamo chiesto il check in anticipato ma la camera c'è l'hanno data alle 15.30! Era previsto per le 15.00. Il quartiere e' un po' degradato ma vicino l'hotel c'è la metro. Comunque è consigliabile avere la macchina. Ultima nota: Philadelphia non merita più di mezza giornata.

Es un buen hotel, bonito, comodo, pequeño. Queda en el Campus de la Universidad Temple, lo cula puede ser un aventaja, sin embargo para ir al Centro de Convenciones toca tomar un taxi o cuatro estaciones del subway. El pequeño desayuno en la mañana es suficiente, tuvo unas fallas ocasionales con la wifi.
