Dream Castle Hotel at Disneyland Paris - Aulnoy

Not a dream castle. First impressions disappointing, large foyer with very unpleasant smell, but rooms well set up, bunk bed had curtain across which meant room lights could be left on without disturbing children in the evening. Breakfast ok, evening meal disappointing. Pool small but empty and a nice escape from eurodisney.

Enjoyed the stay, every thing was comfortable, Good service and helpful staff. But it looked a but dated. Didn't feel like a 4 star hotel. Will try them again if we go back to paris.

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights from 14th- 16th April 2013. The check in was fast, there was somewhere to store your luggage too as our room wasnt available straight away. The staff spoke good English and were very polite. The room was nice and big with a big enough bed and good sized bathroom. The toiletries in the room were a lovely touch and smelt amazing!! The hot breakfast wasnt great but there was plenty of cereal, toast, hot drinks and fruit drinks to keep us satisfied! We used the jacuzzi which was lovely, would of liked to of used the spa but it was a bit pricey for us! Overall it was a lovely stay and I hope to return one day.

The hotel when we got their was overrun by about 4 schools of secondary school you couldn't move it was like going to school for the duration with hardly any teachers around. Requested air conditioning fixed & other maintenance done in room but it was not done & food very expensive. On positive note great location for parks & great luggage transfer service to station for a very small fee.

Hotel was completely understaffed for the amount of people that can be accommodated in the hotel. There were always ques at reception. There were ques at the breakfast area. Ques at dinner time. The wifi was not working. The room service took 75minutes to get to the room. Rather try one of the other hotels. For a 4 star hotel and the price you pay this hotel needs to review their quality of service. It is well below standard

Hotel was really great but getting to the Disney park was a challenge, you get the free no.54 bus from outside the hotel, we are the last stop of 5 hotels in a row which the bus accomodates so you can't get on it!!!! you wait for up to an hour or more and then it's a real push getting on..... getting back is just the same. Each of the seperate 5 hotels for this 54 bus needs it's own transport. This was a real downside to booking this hotel.

This is not a four star hotel. It is very basic and unfortunately the front desk staff were appalling (except for Cristina and the breakfast manager)! We had to wait 20 minutes to check in because of lack of staff. The breakfast was OK but after 10.15 there was no cereal or bread! The evening meal left a lot to be desired. Decoration is far from dream castle like! To complete the nightmare when I took my luggage down at 10.30 to get the Disney Express service to the station the rude girl on the desk told me I was too late even though the sign in front of me said that the service was available before 11am! At that point I am afraid I adopted her attitude and that seemed to work! Oh and finally, there is "complimentary tea and coffee" in the room but beware, there is enough for 2 cups (at the most) and if you want a refill of the tray during your stay you will have to pay for it!!! Come on Dream Castle, pull your socks up! If you can afford to then stay at the Disneyland Hotel where the staff smile and the food and ambiance is truly good. I resented paying £700+ for 3 nights to stay in such a poorly run hotel.

Rooms were excellent for families with large and comfy bed. Drinks and food within hotel was expensive and quality of food at breakfast could have been better.

The reception area was lovely. Rooms were dark, un clean. Our room smelt of toilets. Breakfast really bad. You have to pay 6euros a day for the tea and coffee in your room to be topped up. It's only free for your first day. If you go swimming towels are 2 euros to rent. There was water leaking through. Roof on 5th floor. Everything in hotel is very expensive.

This was a good value base, with an excellent breakfast. Frequent shuttle bus, pleasant grounds and friendly staff. Expensive food and drink, but this is the case everywhere in this location.

Hotel was very close to Disney and there was a shuttle bus that took you to the park every 15 mins, so very convenient. We stayed on a half board basis and the breakfast and dinner were very good. The rooms were very clean and even the bed was really comfy! Would definitely return to this hotel if I was visiting Disneyland again.

Not your typical European hotel which was a plus. The room was large, the beds big - my wife and I shared a family room with our two teenagers (in a bunk bed) and all were thrilled. My son said this is just like US hotels! Great breakfast in the morning - shuttle bus to Disney. Everything was great except that the hotel staff in the restaurant were less than happy... maybe it's the French economy?

Nice clean hotel only let down was very expensive to eat or drink there example for 2 adults and 2 kids an evening meal and a drink each cost €110 equivalent at the same exchange rate to £110. So beware if you go to take plenty of money.

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel as we really do like it. Our only negative comment from our last visit was with regard to reception. We arrived at the hotel at approximately 19.40 and didnt get into our room until 20.35. Again in the morning when we tried to check out we just gave in and posted our key. There were plenty of reception staff on duty but they did not seem to know what they were doing. leaving customers very frustrated.

The internet too slow , bad breakfast , no porter for bags , small rooms .

It was just ok

Hotel was 4* but some marks on bedroom carpet and some mould marks in sealant around bath ( only minor). Cost of coffee / drinks in machines / bar were very expensive in some cases double what we'd pay in UK. Kids entertainment in lobby expensive ! The need to ay extra for towels at sauna etc.. Breakfast had plenty of choice for all on a buffet style. Only minimal ques in a morning. Quality was lacking though with cold sauté potatoes, tasteless scrambled eggs and re- heated beans, sausages poor quality. Good location if Disney with about 10 min transfer time by free shuttle bus. Two wired computers of Internet access (free) but only one working and with only minimal free Internet access 512k !! Or paying for unlimited it restricted you somewhat. Easy check in / out although they take your credit card details on check in !! All in all a good hotel and would stay again not quite 4* though more 3* to 3*+

Very nice hotel. Comfortable, child friendly (as you would expect from location) and clean and well looked after. We had a family room which was excellent with a queen sized bed and two big bunk beds all in the castle theme and high quality. The only drawback I found with the hotel is the 54 Disney bus can be very busy and you are not guaranteed to get on it at the first attempt as it serves several hotels. However, if you have driven or have a hire car the key cover gives you free parking at the parks which saves the scrum for the 54 after Disney dreams finishes.

Room is clean, big enough. You need shuttle to go disneys. Every 20 min yes there is a shuttle. don't think of internet connection. they say there is free wi-fi but it is very poor connection. breakfast is better than expected compared to other disney hotels. there is nothing to do around since it is in the middle of nowhere but few hotels. it is ok. if you spend whole day in park, eat at disney village and wait for the shuttle and sleep at the hotel. Not good to stay and check emails.

Great hotel in awesome location - free Disney shuttle is awesome. Buffet breakfast dull and lacks variety.

This hotel served our purposes as a place to stay that could accomodate 4 persons in one room 2 adults and 2 teens the night before we flew home from France, However, I would not stay again! The lobby had an overpowering smell of cotton candy or something. while the 5th floor that we stayed on smelled like dirty diapers. The breakfast while adequate was nothing special.

The positives about this hotel is that it has a regular shuttle to Disney. However, they have a lot to learn about customer service. I went for New year which is a busy time. However, the hotel felt that this was the time to have nobody at the information desk and to have only 2 or 3 people at the check in desk. This meant that if you had a small query you had to queue along with people checking in/out and I found myself queuing for between 15-20 mins at a time for small queries. I did raise this as a concern and was told that it was a busy time. I suggested that this therefore was the time to increase the staffing. The breakfast was awful - it is quite clear that they use the cheapest ingredients. For what is a wide selection, my children and myself ended up eating very little for breakfast. The room was given a minimal clean, the curtain in the room was broken for the bunk bed and the toilet was stained. I would not stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Dream Castle Hotel - check in staff were efficient and the rooms were comfortable and well equipped. We booked two family rooms and were pleasantly surprised to find they were interconnecting - which was an extra plus. The hotels in the area are all easily accesible to the parks and run free shuttle buses which get you there in approx 15 minutes. The only downside was that during our stay,these did not seem to run frequentlyenough for the number of people - often resulting in a huge crowd surge to board the bus at popular times - which could be dangerous for younger children. This aside - the hotel itself was great - breakfast was very good and the grounds well maintained.

Our children were thrilled with the magic castle theme. The pool was a real bonus to entertain them after a busy day at nearby Disney. Everywhere was clean and well maintained which made for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

The hotel was perfect my only disappointment was the floor plan leads you to believe that the rooms are far bigger than they are. They were still fantastic an I would definitely visit this hotel again. We only stayed a few days an just got shuttle back and too so not sure if shops are close by etc.

Reception and main areas are tacky and depressing - no class. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. If you want an atmosphere of 'Disney magic' this hotel definitely does not have it.

We had a great time in Disney Euro. However, the employees were not able to answer our questions all the time and the ones who's badges said they spoke english did not always understand what we needed. The only ice was in the bar and they gave it to us in two plastic cups. Like everywhere we went in France the AC was not very strong. The "Free" wifi was only in the bar or in front of it. There was lots of people standing around in the same area all times of the day trying to get a good signal to use their devices. Very Clean and nice facilities.

Great location and loved the free shuttle!

They need extra staff to improve their service also the toys machine is expensive and some of it take the money and not working and the drinks is very expencive also the swimming pool area is not clean all that because of the less number of staff

Very slow check in process, no clear information and no barrier for queing so people push in, unfortunately this is common with the continentals in most attractions in Europe. No one man the information desk, which further put more pressure on the check in desk.Carpet in room very dirty with stain marks, however bed is comfortable and breakfast is good. Shuttle back to hotel from Disneyland very crowded due to sharing with too many other hotels, shuttle to Disneyland from hotel is much more pleasant, only shared with Magic Circus.

We were driving across Europe and decided to head to Paris without pre-booking a hotel. Hotels in downtown Paris were very expensive on short notice. The best options on Hotel.com were for some Disneyland locations. With no other choices for our budget, we decided to go ahead and book. Glad we did. If you can get past the kid orientated hotel decor (we were not travelling with kids), the rooms are actually really nice at 1/3 of the cost we were going to have to pay to stay in downtown Paris. The shuttle bus conveniently dropped you off at the park entrance/train station (10 min ride max) where we could take a train into Paris in about 40 minutes (bypassing the crazy drivers and even crazier parking fees). It was great other than having to leave Paris earlier at night than we wanted to ensure that we didn't miss the last train. Overall the rooms were clean and the hotel landscape outside was really nice. I would recommend this hotel to those looking to visit Disneyland or looking to save a few dollars while visiting Paris. It met our needs well.

Very nice staff , lovely clean rooms all very modern and kids bunks very nice , lots of games for kids , free shuttle to parks every 12mins till 11:55pm

Overall was OK, big hotel with beautiful surroundings. Disadvantages: breakfast not too good, few hot products and even hot ones are from not hot enough till cold (scrambled eggs). The pool is mostly for kids. Probably it's ok but if an adult expect to swim a little bit its not there. Everything is more like 3 not 4.

This hotel is one of the worst I have ever stayed at, the food and the buffet was revolting, we could not get over how bad the food was from breakfast to dinner buffet and room service was disgusting.I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Such a pity about the poor standard of food and high prices charged for it. The bar was especially bad with 17 euros for a soggy cheese and ham sandwich and even more for an equally soggy pizza. There was not a children's menu which is ridiculous for a hotel catering for families visiting Disney and they were not prepared to adapt for our 3 year old who did not eat spicy food. Hotel was lovely and will visit again but definitely won't eat there again.

Very nice hotel located close to Disneyland Paris .The rooms were comfortable and the free shuttle bus which operates every 10 mins was very convenient. The place is perfectly set up for kids .We really enjoy our stay and we would definitely recommend.

Kids loved it. Hotel was great and what we expected. Bunks were perfect for a family stay. Ideal choice if you want to do Disney. The Breakfast in the hotel was average but reasonably priced - didn't have dinner. Overall the food all over Disneyland village was the worst we have experienced in the world - the French should be ashamed of this.

the hotel was clean, bus service to and from disney was great other than having to stand most of the time since the buses were over crowded unless you take the one before 8am and leave disney early.

Convenient to Parks, attentive staff, good shuttle service. Breakfast was very, very busy, but plenty of choice and all selections quickly replenished. Plenty of opportunities to make up snacks to last the day !

Wifi not available a room and lobby.have go until Corridor just can access.Can't using iPad inside room due to no wifi access. Got internet access with cable(just for note book).

Whilst the room itself was really nice, with a comfortable bed and bunks for the kids, clean and fresh sheets and enough space to fit two adults and two kids; a nice swimming pool with slide for extra fun; The food and service really let us down... The staff were genally quite unfriendly and did only the bare minimum. We ordered pizza from the bar which was soggy, and clearly a reheated frozen pizza... only to discover that they microwave all of their bar and room service food (and charge a premium for the service). The phone didn't work and it took three requests to have someone repair it, all of 48 hours after our arrival. All-in-all we were disappointed with it stay in this hotel. I would recommend this hotel for the comfort, facilities and cleanliness; but bring your own food, water etc... Or be willing to pay a premium for sub-standard food (which let's face it, is unusual in France, which is well known for the fabulous food!).
