This hotel is far away from Barcelona. Metro train does not go there so you have to take a train. By train it takes 30mins to reach Barcelona centre. Interior is old but clean. Rest all is just ok.

It was spotlessly clean and welcoming.Minutes away from Granoller main station .We were just a few stops away from the heart of Barcellona.Im finding it too dificult to find a complaint about this hotel...

everything was great....only the internet was too slow and couldn't make skype calls

The staff at Aparthotel Atenea Valles are just remarkable. They are extremely helpful. We were in a situation where we had to make urgent phone calls to the US during our check in and requested a phone to use. We informed them to add the phone charges to our room bill. Without second thoughts, Mark, at the front desk just handed us the reception desk phone and told us to make the calls and take care of our situation without having to think about the phone charges! It was a very pleasant experience. During our stay, the staff even helped us with parking the car in the garage. Cannot say enough about the wonderful staff. Even though the hotel is a little away from Barcelona must-see sights, the pleasing staff will make up for the distance! I highly recommend this hotel.

I just spent 5 nights in this hotel the stuff was nice and helpful the hotel clean and quiet we really enjoyed our time there

This hotel offered exceptional value for money with no compromises on service or quality. I can heartily recommend it to anyone passing through or visiting Barcelona. The reception staff were particularly pleasant & helpful. I would not hesitate to use the hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel in August 2012. We were 2 adults and a 4-year old. The room we were given could be separated into 2 sections for privacy and there was a little kitchen available, with a micro-wave and dish-washer. The hotel is also very conveniently located at walking distance from the train station (half hour to Barcelona) as well as the center of Ganollers - a cute small town with all kinds of shops etc nearby. The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. We'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was not expecting the nicely spaced and decorated space that the hotel offered. The room was nice in size and decor, the restaurant offered tasety, with a variety of well prepared foods. A bonus was a high level of friendly, muliti-lingual staff. The entire experience was a pleasurable surprise including the reasonable price!!!

The staff were all very polite and helpful i had four children with me and this did not bother the staff in any way. The cleaners are very good they made sure everything was neat and tidy.

It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is clean, and the staff is professional and friendly. It is a bit far from Barcelona, but a 30 min trip by train will get you there. I definitively recommend this hotel for everybody who wants to pay less for good quality.

We were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful and free breakfast buffet. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We were spending a couple days in Barcelona on our way from Paris to Valencia. The car parking was free and it was an easy 25 minute drive into Barcelona. Very spacious living room plus a bedroom with a dividing wall. Kitchen was sparse, but we only needed a fridge, so it served our purposes perfectly! Bed wasn't overly comfortable, but pretty much standard for what we find all over Europe. Would stay here again any day with our two girls (ages 1 and 3).

After a very troublesome trip, the staff welcomed me with their utmost compassionate and helpful attitude. They were all very friendly, attentive and most polished service. Not only would I highly recommend it but I would go back anytime... And I am a person who thrives in being well looked after. These people delivered a 10 out of 10. Thank you so much!!!

Pros: 1. Its located 10 minutes from the Gronellers Train Station with regular stops to Barcelona City Center PG. de Gracia. Its about a 32 minute train ride to the city center. Cons: 1. When I arrived the hotel staff gave me a double room when I purchased a family room. They told me that since I put 2 adults they gave me that room and that they make room selections based off of occupant numbers not room type. They told me that I would have to take it up with Hotels.com before they would fix the situation. I explained to them that I paid alot more for a family room and wanted what I paid for and reserved. I argued with the receptionist for 10 minutes before they agreed to give me the room that I paid for. 2. The room was filthy. There was trash left over from the previous occupant. The ceilings had mold. The shower curtains were so thin that water was spraying through when I took a shower. 3. I would not go here during the busy times as parking is almost impossible and the garage provided is narrow. Unless you have a small car I wouldnt park in their garage. 4. The breakfast is worth going to if its included in the price of your room. Other than that I wouldnt pay what they were asking. 5. The bed was uncomfortable and TV is outdated with limited number of stations.

NIce hotel with friendly service. Perfect if you have to travel by car. Easy access and garage! Close to the train station and to the restaurants and shopping in the centre of Granollers.

Was very pleased with everything; very clean, nice and helpful staff, tasty breakfast and less than a 5-minutes walk to the train that will take you within 35 minutes to the center of Barcelona city! Me and my family really recommends this hotel!

Tout ce qui concerne l'accueil de l'hôtel est vraiment qualitatif, personnel disponible et avenant. Deux bémols : les murs en papier donc on entend très bien les voisins!!! Le restaurant, une arnaque!

Muy bien pero al llegar a recepción me informan que tenemos que pagar 0,99€ por persona por los impiuesos de hospedaje que hay que pagar para la generalitat. Yo pensaba que esto ya lo había pagado no es mucho dinero pero toca los weps.

A4 hotell, 30 min med bil eller tog til sentrum. Et meget godt og rimelig alternativ når du ikke vil bo midt i storbyen Barcelona. KJøkken på rommet, men alt kjøkkenutstyr manglet. God frokost, men ikke verdens beste kokk på restaurantkjøkkenet. Hyggelig betjening, Sparsommelig, men ok lite spa i kjelleren. Bra trimrom. Elendig tv på rommet.

Even though it is outside Barcelona, it provides good location because it is 5 minute walk distance from Granollers Center station. Enjoyed comfortable, clear room facilities during my stay.

Ich bin hier für 3 Nächte während meines Barcelona Besuchs geblieben. Sehr freundlicher Service, sehr gut ausgestattetes zimmer - ein gutes 4 Sterne Hotel zum Preis eines 2 Sterne Hotels! Die Lage ist gut (der Bahnhof ist zu Fuss erreichbar, die Gegend ruhig und angenehm), es gibt Einkaufsmöglichkeiten - ich werde das Hotel sicher weiterempfehlen!

je n'aurais du prendre qu'une semaine car c'est loin de barcelone et une fois que l'on a tout vu là-bas, il n'y aplus rien à faire

Vue sur la place bruyante jusqu'au bout de nuit, impossible de dormir avec les fenêtres ouvertent dommage au mois d'aout, heureusement chambre climatisée . Chambre ou la propreté laisse à désirer. Pour 4 un peu petite, cuisine minuscule ne vs attendez pas à préparer les repas, pour 4 , 2 fourchettes, 1 verre ...1 chaise ... Personnel à répondu à notre réclamation et à ajuster les manques de matériel pour notre famille de 4. Draps bruyant, le plus, internet dans les chambres et Spa 7 € ... Parking à 30 m de l'hôtel dans immeuble d'en face à 3€ la journée , raide, un 4X4 ne passe pas ! Le personnel parle un peu français, tous non pas appris la politesse et leur métier ( je fume ma cigarette et je laisse attendre le client ) hôtel à 15 minutes de la plage de mataro, 30 minutes de Barcelone et à peine 10 minutes de la gare de granollers voilà les points forts de l'hôtel.

Har ett väldigt bra hotell service, ligger skapligt nära till tågstationen för att ta se in till Barcelona (40min). Det som var mindre bra var att det ligger en bit från stranden och man måste åka pendeltåg/buss till någon strand och har man ett plan att passa tidigt på morgon(vid sju) som avgår från gironas flygplats så finns det bara en val möjlighet att ta en taxi för 900 kr. Om man inte ta sig in Barcelona vid halv fyra på natten och tar en flygbuss från norra busstationen, men tror nog att det kan bli lite tight med tid.

Un hotel para recomendar, el servcio estupendo, muy atentos. Volveré.

Hotel calme qui situé à demi heure de la mer ou de Barcelonne. Cela permet de se ressourcer loin de l'agitation de Barcelonne ou des plages. la propreté est remarquable, le personnel est trés efficace. A recommander dans le cadre cité plus haut.

bonne impressions pour un cour sejour le seul point negatif est l'acces au parking.personnels tres aimable

Bodde på dette hotellet for å besøke Barcelona. Barcelona var bare 30 min unna med bil. Her slipper man mye stress i forhold Barcelona som er enorm og masse mennesker. Stedet er så og avslappende. Hotellet var rent og fint med god frokost som hadde et variert utvalg av mat. Hyggelig og hjelpsom personale.

Si vous recherchez un service et un confort digne d'un appart hotel 4*, fuyez absolument celui-ci. Les mésaventures commencent dès l'enregistrement où on est accueilli par un réceptionniste grincheux car dérangé pendant sa pause cigarette. Puis vient la découverte de la chambre : décoration et confort digne d'une auberge de jeunesse, équipement qui n'a pas été changé depuis Franco (pas de micro-ondes, 2 verres dans une chambre familiale, une tv à tube et écran grand comme un timbre, une literie digne d'un stage commando). Lorsqu'on réclame pour avoir des verres en plus et signaler que le ménage n'a pas été fait, on se fait recevoir par un autre réceptionniste qui, loin de chercher à rendre service ou améliorer la situation, se contente de dire qu'il y a des feuilles de réclamation disponible à la réception. On pensait que le tarif, inférieur aux appart-hotels de Barcelone, s'expliquait par l'éloignement de la ville (compter une bonne demi-heure de route), mais c'est l'ensemble de la prestation qui est honteusement mauvaise.

Le personnel est très agréable, tous parlent anglais, certains parlent même français. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est raffiné et surtout à un prix très attractif. Le petit déjeuner proposé est très varié avec des produits de qualité. Il y a un parking sécurisé en sous-sol, point positif également. Chambre propre, spacieuse, climatisée et surtout au calme. La gare RER est à 100m de l'hôtel il y des trains toutes les 20mn de 5h le matin à minuit, on rejoint le centre de Barcelone en 35mn.

The hotel is okay for the price you pay, Observe, the parking should be included but are not! It is very difficult to find parking place close to the hotel and the garage that cost money is far away from the hotel. The service is very good. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Very noise outside the hotel.

Hotel facilitet er ikke god. Hotelværelse er for lille og mangler stol og børne seng var slet ikke god ! Transport fra barcelona til hotelet er ikke god !

Bel hotel en parfait état. Grande chambre avec coin cuisine (sans vaisselle). Personnel agréable. Situé pas très loin du centre ville piétonnier avec commerces et près de la gare (Barcelone à 30 minutes pour 11 € A/R). Possibilité de parking hotel payant ou gratuit à proximité.
