This is a lovely hotel. It is a bit out of the center of activity, although they offer several shuttles during the day to a convenient drop-off location. The only issue we had during our stay was that we couldn't get the room as cool as we would have liked, but it was still comfortable enough. Nice comfortable beds and helpful staff.

Very friendly, helpful, and professional staff. Lovely location, beautiful architecture. They treated me with kindness, respect, cheerfulness and overall superior service. Unfortunately it was the worst breakfast I had during my two weeks of staying in Italy. The food here was old, stale and sub-standard with a high price tag. Compared to all other aspects of the villa it should have been a more appealing cuisine, fresher foods that were better prepared. This level of product should not have been an additional cost. I would have happily paid for a good, fresh, well prepared breakfast, but this was a disappoinment.

This is not a hotel, it is a Villa with just a few rooms. You are treated like royalty. The view of the Florence is unparalleled. I am counting the days til I return to this hotel. This is a must stay!!! I didn't want to leave the grounds.

In one word GREAT. One of the best hotel experience we had. The location is superb. It is 15 min walk to the city center or the hotel shuttle. Easy access with a car. The view is breathtaking. The rooms are perfect with all the comfort. Typical Italian villa style. The staff is extraordinary. Don't miss the hotel restaurant, excellent food.

This hotel was very disappointing....although the view was gorgeous our room was so tiny we were tripping over our luggage. It is also very hard to walk anywhere from there since it is atop a very steep hill and the cabs into town are very expensive. The concierge was very sweet and helpful. The main disappointment was that they had wine tasting tour groups at the hotel (not hotel guests) which were dozens of people there all day and evening and the hotel guests had a hard time even sitting on the terrace.....it was so packed with tourists. Not at all what you would expect from a five star boutique hotel.

Not one single complaint. They were great and even helped me out when I was in a jam because of a flight cancellation. Rooms are great, sitting areas are great, staff is great, views of Florence are great. Book and enjoy!

Hotel location overlooking Florence is spectacular to say the least. Hotel is well appointed with comfortable rooms and decent marble en-suites with bidets and double basins. English-born hotel reception clerk provided the best service and information about the local attractions for our stay I've ever experienced from any hotel and that helped ensure a very pleasant stay. Although a little out of the Florence city centre it's still within walking distance and is well worthwhile for getting away from the crowds in winter, I imagine it's fantastic in summer given the gardens, lawn terraces and pool and it's handy to some of the city's great views and historic sites.

Overall is excellent except the bath towel have some dirty. However, when we put it in bath, then the cleaner change it. The receiptist is really helpful. The view is really beatiful where u can see the view of florence. Don't worry to go to down town, as have shuttle bus every hour to pick up.

Outstanding room, great service, terrific location with gorgeous views of Florence. A bit of a downhill walk to town, but a free shuttle takes you down to Ponte Vecchio and back up at regular intervals.

We stayed at Villa La Vedetta for 3 nights and enjoyed our time there. The room and hotel were lovely but the location wasn't very convenient. The hotel offered a shuttle bus service to a spot a little closer to town but it only ran at certain times which was a bit of a hassle. Via taxi, it is approx. €15 to get from the train station to the hotel. We ate at the restaurant one night and that is about all we could afford - the food was nice but quite expensive. Overall it was a nice stay but not if your on a budget....

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION ON A HILL OVERLOOKING FLORENCE WITH BREATHTAKING VIEWS. FRONT DESK WAS SUPERB IN HELPING US GET AROUND AND PLANNING DAY TRIPS. THIS WAS SUCH A UNIQUE PROPERTY, LOVED IT AND CANT WAIT TO RETURN.

The hotel was a haven after a busy dayp of sightseeing. The gardens pool lounge with a lovely afternoon tea were most welcoming. We couldn't of asked for more caring friendly and attentive service. The breakfasts were nourishing and plentiful although we felt the standard of the restaurant could have been better

A spectacular old mansion with the absolute best view of Firenze and the Doumo that you could ever have. Staff were all top shelf and friendly

I was very impressed with the genuine friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The views of Florence from the terrace are beautiful. It is not in the city center, which is noisy and crowded, but the hotel has a free shuttle service to take you down the hill, just minutes from the ponte vecchio. Valentina at the front desk made me feel very welcome. I love this hotel.

Great view of Florence, nice swimming pool, very very friendly staff and always attending and polite, clean rooms but chairs were dirty in our room (stains). Overall nice hotel probably a good 4 star.

We had just an overnight, and wanted a five star experience already knowing Florence. But as sometimes happens in Italy, the star rating appears to be based exclusively on amenities, not quality. Yes, there was a well groomed pool and free wifi. But the room was Spartan (no bath gels nor slippers), and the "concierge" was whatever desk clerk was on duty. Knowing Florence, we asked for non-traditional food. We wanted good Japanese. The desk clerk response was, "Well, we have one that we recommend, but we haven't had good reviews." So we googled and found Momoyama., among the four listed. Very nice, but expensive,although certainly worth it. A concierge's dream...so close. Where's the effort to accommodate guests? The next morning at breakfast, there was a couple from Japan who may have considered this useful... Speaking of breakfast, it was served forty-five minutes past the scheduled time by sleepy hosts, unapologetically. This boutique hotel is worth a visit, if one doesn't care about quality food or exceptional service. I would rate it between three and four stars.

We loved this hotel and would definitely like to find more hotels just like this. The location, although a 15 minute walk from the main part of Florence, was still perfect. The shuttle was also available so no need to walk if you did not want to. The rooms were very nice and the view of the balcony to Florence was great. I plan on recommending this to all my friends. The only thing was that the restaurant there was a bit pricey.

Recently stayed at Villa La Vedetta for a three day holiday with my girlfriend, and could not recommend it more highly. The hotel's best feature would be the location. Situated on the hill overlooking the old city centre of Florence, it enjoys spectacular views of the major landmarks, especially at night. I felt that being just outside the city centre was a blessing as you avoid the hustle and bustle of all the tourists and benefit from an amazing panorama. The walk into town is pleasant and takes only half an hour, or you can take advantage of the hotel's handy shuttle bus service which drops you off near the Ponte Vecchio. The hotel itself is beautiful, a small Italian villa with classic architecture, but mixed with with modern artwork and facilities. The room was clean and stylishly decorated, and benefited from wifi (although the signal was not that strong in our room). Breakfast was quite expensive but high quality, and could be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the city. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, and added to the overall positive experience of our stay. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wishing to visit Florence and Tuscany - I would certainly stay there again next time.

Superb hotel, great location with awe inspiring views. Consistently friendly and very attentive service, wonderful restaurant with great Tuscan food. In our family we had two different rooms, each unique and wonderfully furnished & laid out. The whole Hotel was a wonderful experience from start to finish- truly 5 star. I don't normally write reviews, but this was definitely worth spending the time to say a few words.

This hotel is perched right on top of a hill close to the piazza Michelangelo overlooking the fantastic panoramic view of Florence. We stayed here for four days in early November. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and made my wife and myself welcome from the very start. They gave us usefull advice on where to go and how to get there. Since it was November, we did not get to use the outdoor pool, but it (along with the italian gardens) added avery nice touch of elegance to this property. We used the hotel's complementary shuttle service extensively and found it very convenient for getting us to and from the old city. There are a lot of quaint restaurants and wine bars just a short walk down the hill at the foot of the city walls. We tried out different ones each night and were never dissapointed. In the mornings we would stroll over to a cafe adjecent to the piazza michelangelo for great coffee and breakfast. We only had coffee onece in the hotel because we like to try out different spots. The hotel room was well maintained. We always had our bed made and turned over in a prompt manner. The bathrobes, slippers and heated towels were just divine! All in all we had an exceptional stay and would recomend this quaint little hotel to anyone.

Stedet var vidunderligt beliggende og smukt. Personalet i spisestuen var uforskammede , men blev dog sat på plads af receptionen. Poolen blev ikke lukket op, skønt flere af gæsterne ønskede det. Ingen hjælp med liggestole etc omkring poolen og lasede parasoller.For dårligt til den høje pris!

Superbe hôtel, disposant d'une vue incroyable sur Florence (duomo, ponte vechio, palazzo vecchio). L'hôtel met à disposition une navette qui vous amène au ponte vecchio toutes les heures (20mns de marche sinon).

신행으로 다녀와서 맘먹고 5성급호텔에 주차도 무료라 선택한 호텔이다. 그런데 생각보다 많이 별로였다. 일단 3월 말에 갔는데 난방이 고장나서 매우 추웠다. 새벽 3시 넘어서 못견뎌 데스크에 말해 방을 옮겼는데 옮긴방은 그럭저럭 춥진 않았다. 5성급에 비해 식사도 그렇고 아침도 별로였다. 직원분들은 매우 친절하긴 했다. 위치는 미켈란젤로 언덕 위라 도심에서 멀지만 하루 10차례정도 셔틀을 운영한다. (우린 걸어도 다녔지만) 이호텔의 가장 큰 장점은 뷰이다. 호텔에서 보이는 피랜체는 정말 좋다.

Accueil courtois, attentif et chaleureux par un personnel polyglotte. Le cadre est magnifique et les services proposés sont de très grande qualité. La situation de l'hôtel offre un stationnement et un service de navette assure un transfert vers la ville en quelques minutes. Excellent.

Passamos parte da nossa lua de mel neste hotel maravilhoso, altamente recomendável ! O único detalhe é que ele fica localizado um pouco afastado do centro, o que requer a necessidade de um shutlle (onibus) que o proprio hotel oferece. Como estávamos de carro, ficamos com maior flexibilidade e mobilidade. Recomendo !!!!

Der Empfang war sehr dürftig, und der Concierge hat zugesehen wie wir das Gepäck selber aus dem Wagen holten (redete "nur" italienisch). Die Lage des Hotels ist super, dass ist keine Frage! Im Sommer ist es, da man draussen sitzen kann, sicher "anders", aber im Winter ist es nicht sehr einladend und gemütlich schon gar nicht. Das angebotene Nachmittags-Tee-Buffet ist eines 5 Sterne Hotels nicht würdig, kein Kaffee und das in Italien! Die Bettdecke ist sehr dürftig (einfache Wolldecke) und beim anfragen ob wir etwas wärmeres gäbe, wurde es verneint. Wir erhielten dann noch eine zweite alte Wolldecke wie man das sonst aus einer einfachen Berghütte oder Jugendherberge her kennt. Der Frühstücksraum ist ein nur sehr spärlich beheizter Wintergarten, so kann man nicht geniessen! Das Angebot am Frühstücksbuffet ist ok, die Pancakes waren nicht ganz durch und das in einem 5 Sterne Hotel, das geht leider absolut gar nicht! Für uns ist das ein besseres Bad and Breakfast (zumindest in dieser Jahreszeit) und nie und nimmer ein 5 Stern Hotel, grosse Enttäuschung!

Belle bâtisse avec une situation exceptionnelle. Bon accueil, personnel agréable, service et confort bon. Tarif des petits déjeuners surfaits mais produits de qualité au rendez-vous. Rapport qualité/prix très bon en semaine et bon pour un WE (tarif doublé le samedi)

Excellent hôtel sur une colline surplombant Florence. Accès à pied au centre historique en 15 minutes ou navette de l'hôtel 7 fois par jour, très pratique avec du personnel serviable. Jolie villa pleine de charme parfois un peu surrané, mais nous aimons cela. Tea time sympatique et buffet de petit déjeuner varié. Sûr que je chercherai à revenir dans cet hôtel lors d'un prochain séjour florentin.

Skønt hotel med perfekt beliggenhed. Eneste lille minus var at minibaren (køleskabet) ikke virkede.

Hotel di ottima qualita', servizio molto curato, camere piano terra con vista giardino, risentono leggermente di odori di umidita', riscaldamento modesto. Hotel che si consiglia in buona stagione, per vista e liberta' di movimento , giardino e piscina.

Dette er et herligt hotel med meget god service. Og med veldig hyggelige folk.

とても素敵なホテルでした。 普段のお値段では、とても泊まれない金額ですが、泊まる価値のあるホテルと感じました。

Tres bien unic point negatif la salle de bain pas trop mise a jour pour le traveaux sinon le reste impeccable
