The people were so friendly there! It was close to everything.

Old small out dated rooms. Tiny shower. But good location to downtown.

Clean, comfortable and inexpensive. Don't expect extras. Even Cont. breakfast is basically toast and cereal. Coffee is Folgers. But you can walk everywhere from here and get a good night's sleep

They were very rude and nothing worked,the ice machine pool or spa.

Possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. We would've checked out immediately but it was late and we were tired and hungry. Noisy, filthy, out of date. We paid for two nights in advance but took a loss on the second night and moved to the Gunn House next door.

Excellent location to my job site. Good services within walking distance. Front office personnel great.

Great clean room, large bathroom ( shower only). You could hear the traffic but it wasn't super annoying. Customer service A+.

Nice small town motel. Not a lot of frills, but friendly staff and very clean rooms with fridges and microvaves.

Rooms were clean & comfortable. Hotel staff helpful and knowledgeable of surrounding area. We received a phone call less than two hours after we checked-out to alert us of an expensive item that we left behind in the room. Would defineately use their services again.

The room was clean and comfortable...a good value in comparison to other rooms I have stayed in for a great deal more money. The location is very convenient within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The street side is a little noisy but you might be able to ask for the back side of the building as it is probably more quiet. There are lots of things to do in the area as well...fun time!

great casual place to stop off for a night or more.

The whole vibe was great service etc. except the maid came barging in at 8:30am , checkout is at 11:00am.

hotel has a decent location to get into san fran if you use the ferry. i asked for tv remote to be fixed and 2 days later no one had come so no tv access in room. the outer sheet on hotel bed was stained with brown and white dirt. didnt notice this until i was checking out

My family had a great weekend visiting Yosemite. We decide to stay in Inns of California. The pros are: great customer service, Cathy was so nice and check in very fast. I really appreciated that she gave us a list of the restaurants within walking distance. My family, including my 4 and 3 yr old had no trouble walking down the street for dinner. Our room was a good size and we were satisfied with the small complimentary breakfast. The only con I can think of is that the place was very dated. However, this wan't a big deal for us because we spent the days in Yosemite and didn't come back to our room until after 6:30pm. This motel was a great value for us and would book again.

very clean...comfy bed, new shower...great location within walking distance of downtown. Pool looked inviting but too many people using it when we would have gone...no problem.

Odd place, desperatly needs renovation. Clerk admits leaking roof (!) in external building. Worn out furniture, housekeeping not too ambitious. Way too expensive for this quality.

Generally satisfactory for a budget hotel. Would stay again.

Great location, good service, clean, but bad mattress

Decent hotel , decent price...breakfast could be better..but just right for a weekend getaway.

Our stay was fine, except we cut our stay short due to a change in plans unrelated to the hotel. We paid in advance for two nights, and are looking forward to a refund for the second night, which the desk clerk said we would be getting from the booking agency. Only thing that wasn't just right was the continental breakfast, which was about as good as say for example, Motel 6 - it didn't include fresh pastries or yoghurt. Pastries were small pre-packaged muffins.

A good location and a very comfortable stay. Hotel staff were most accommodating and helpful. A great place to stay. Would come back here again.

Staff was very friendly. We arrived late 12am after seeing a concert in Murphys and were impressed that office was still open! Staff checked us into clean comfortable room. Motel was quiet and continental breakfast was a bonus. Older building but well maintained.

Pool was refreshing on a hot day. Beds were not so comfortable, and wifi is slow. Location was nice for exploring Jamestown, Columbia and Yosemite.

Disappointed in the continental breakfast offering . Also the jacuzzi was very much in need of a thorough cleaning

The hotel was so dirty that we could not wlk barefoot without having to wash our feet. Brekfast is provided but not space to sit and eat.

The whole room was reeking of old tobacco smoke even though it was a non-smoking room, which was really disgusting in my opinion. The AC was working, but was very old and extremely noisy. Overall cleanliness was OK, but it guess it's not easy to keep such a worn down hotel as this shining. The staff were nice though!

Everything was perfectly fine. The staff was very friendly and the service fast. We arrived a bit late and most places for dinner had closed. Left early for Yosemite and Sonora is a good place to stay on the way.

The service good and the staff are helpful. The rooms are OK, but the bathrooms have seen better days. There is no chairs to eat breakfast in the lobby. We had to sit on the stairs outside to eat. The first room we got was to far away from the wireless router so we did not get any WiFi access at that room. We had to change room to get access. But that was not a problem to get a new room.

For a small town and just an over night stay this was perfect,

Room was clean and everything was working well. Staff was very helpful with giving directions to nearby attractions. Location is nice too.

We really liked the Inn - we were able to walk to a near by restaurant and took advantage of the 10% discount that the hotel provided. Only down side - no seating at breakfast but not a problem - we ate in our hotel room.

The staff was nice, the room clean but that is about it! Very noisy, my mattress slanted to one side, A/C or swap cooler so loud we could not use. The cleaning staff had their break area on the side of the building which allowed cigarette smoke rose and came through our bathroom window. Will never stay there again. Worst night ever!

Better than its rating would suggest. A good price, good location, comfortable.

Needed a second night but they were full. Walking distance to town was easy. Lots of parking. Cont. Breakfast was sparse. Desk service was friendly and helpful.
