The Admiral’s Inn Resort - אוגונקוויט

The hotel and staff were wonderful, but the room was sparce and my husband and I both found the bed to be quite uncomfortable. Both of us woke up with backaches!

The property was in good condition, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a little tricky to see which door was the lobby/office.

The hotel room had more of a bedroom/home setting then just a hotel room. It had the comforts of being home vs. just your average hotel room. Wonderful!

Noisy hallways, our room was literally behind the elevator and could hear the elevator motor and people talking all night. The construction is cheap, no air conditioning, very bad heating system as well. Absolutely no privacy due to thin walls, you could hear people in other rooms, hallways, and elevator. I would not recommend it.

Very nice stay. Parking lot was a little hard to park in, due to a recent snow storm. Looks like there was no place to put the snow. Service was very good. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Very friendly place and Excellent location. I will stay there again.

The stay was exactly what we expected. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. A good standard hotel. Breakfast was good in the dining room.

We were very comfortable during our stay at the Admirals Inn Resort recently. The room was large & clean & nicely appointed with a large 6 drawer dresser, flat screen TV, refrigerator & great split bath. The free WiFi was easy to connect to & fast. We also enjoyed the hot tub & pool area. I felt we got a lot of value for our money. The location in Ogunquit was convenient to many places to eat & shop.

We loved this Inn. It is just a few blocks away from the start of the famous Marginal Way walkway along the coast. Beautiful view there! Our only complaint is that the shower in our room was slow. Need to clean out the shower head.

Enjoyed the stay very much but the room was too warm to our liking. Would stay again. The room was peaceful and I felt like a true guest.

Great area close to beaches

The staff was great and very helpful in pointing out places to eat, shop and visit. On the minus side, we had two beds and the next morning we each were complaining about our beds, I don't know what it was as they appeared to be good mattresses but they were very uncomfortable. Otherwise a good hotel.

Good overall but significantly over priced the Sat night stay. Staff was nice. Room smaller than European and plumbing weak.

we were disappointed by the lack of continental breakfast which was advertised when we made our reservations. Then nobody told us about the 10% discount off breakfast for guests...we overheard someone at another table talking about it.

Hotel was in great location and facilities were good overall. The only thing I would not do again is take a room on the top floor of the original building. It was clean and neat but the shower area was very small with slanted ceiling. If your tall you wouldn't want it. Also a lot of stairs to get to it no elevator in Old building.

it was oday for one night but I would not stay there for more time

We were in the old house. Taking luggage up narrow stairs was a big hassle and there was lots of road noise. No phone in the room. No desk. Very disappointed

The title gives the summary. Room was fairly large but only had the basics. Wifi access password was not provided in room info or by front desk at checkin (instructions said we would have one or the other). By the time we tried to use it, the front office was closed. Luckily someone had written the PW on a random card which was still left in the room info book, so we managed to log on. Overall, we feel it was an OK room, but quite pricy for the location and minimalist room (my wife commented that there was only one picture in the whole room).

hotel was basic minimum in comfort , room was small and cramped. traffic noise kept us awake. bed was uncomfortable. the walking distance was the big seller. would not stay in the main inn again but newer rooms in the back building may be ok

Our first room seemed more like a half-way house room until we requested to move because the "Common Room" above us sounded like a Stampede going on from 6am. When requested to change rooms they told us that it's not what they normally do but we're giving you a room in the "Adults Only" section....which btw....is how we checked in??? Anyway that room was better but the walls are PAPER THIN and you can hear EVERYTHING around you. Thank God for the air conditioner. I will say that it was clean and well maintained but for as much as the room cost it wasn't nearly worth it.....we found other places along the beach that were less expensive and seemed much nicer.

Website somewhat misleading on this hotel. Room had no coffeemaker, phone or clock. Although listed as a "B & B", they charge for breakfast & even coffee in the morning!

the grounds were very nicely maintained. We enjoyed the swimming pools.The one toward the back was a little smaller but quieter than the one toward the front of the hotel. The staff was excellent.If I had to do it over I would stay in one of the newer buildings because the rooms in the main part were a little small. This hotel is not real close the water and marginal way so bring your walking shoes. It was good excercise but I wouldn't recommend it for people who can't walk far.

The bathroom tub had evidence of black mold. The sink was OUTSIDE the bathroom with no counter space. The bathroom had no counter space, no hook for wet towels, and a towel rack that fell apart as you removed a fresh towel. The room with a king bed had only one night table with a lamp , 3 pillows (2 good, 1 totally flat), only a single sheet to cover topped with a worn bedspread (an item that is recycled and should never be used as a bedcover), wi-fi access but no desk with chair to place a laptop, a fridge that froze everything even after adjusting, a very small tv, no phone, no in-room coffee maker. There were no baggage supports so bags had to go on the only chair, on the fridge and on the dresser next to the tv. The AC was too loud for sleeping. The pool had two ladders but one was missing the bottom rung. There was no complimentary breakfast. The rate was too high for the level of quality and the inn seemed to be maintained by foreign exchange students. A disappointing stay.

Would recommend staying elsewhere. Was disappointed in service and room. Much nicer places to stay closer to water for similar price.

We stayed in both the new building and the hotel building. Both rooms were small and too much $$ for location and what you get. The house-cleaning was shakey at best. Need to walk to and pay for breakfast. Most other places in area provide some kind of breakfast. Not staying here again.

The cleaning crew, did not change the sheets in my bed I had to complaint to the administration. One of the chair had a nasty stain. The window has only one courtain, if I want sun light I have no privacy.

It was a nice hotel and a few blocks from town. Staff was knowledgeable and recommended some good places to eat Such as jonathans And the clayhouse farm.

A very average stay; nothing to write home about. Room dark - those d***ned CFLs.

The Inn was perfect for our needs, just a short walk into town and best of all to the Marginal Way Walk. Though it sat on busy Route 1 the Inn is set back and quiet. Though it is classified as an Inn, my friends and I felt it was a little bit more like a roadside motel. We did not use any of the facilities but the Inn was clean and comfortable.

Some suggestions: There were no luggage stands to put the luggage on. We had to keep the luggage on the floor and that was not at all convenient. There were no tissues in the bathroom and we were surprised that bathroom tissue, which was almost completely used, was on the roll with the end folded under to show it had been attended to. Also, a full length mirror would be helpful. There was one at the very end of the hall but that didn't help while getting dressed in one's room. Otherwise, the room was clean and the management pleasant.

Super professional friendly warm comfortable

Admiral's Inn was the perfect choice! We stayed in the main house and it was lovely. Our room felt elegant even though it was tiny, everything was clean, and we had a lovely porch. The staff was kind and knowledgable and had great restaurant suggestions. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi and the close walk to everything. We would stay there again in a heart beat!

AC Unit poor. Shower in ankle deep water. No coffee an as stated.

There were four of us staying in two rooms. It looks like a motel, and feels like a four star resort. Location is great, The shower is separate from sink, and the counter is very large and holds everything. Bed is super comfy, and pillows are down and soft. Flat screen TV, Breakfast is only muffins and juice. We loved ir!

We spent the night here for a short getaway and to ease our three hour drive for our daughters soccer game.The hotel was very neat and clean. The staff was friendly and provide good recommendation for dinner( walking distance.) the rooms were comfortable and quiet. It provided a good place to stay overnight in Maine. Short distance to Ogunquit beach and town center.
