Knolls Resort Motel - Wildwood

Right for the price. Used it to stay for irish weekend. Not anything fancy, but friendly staff and clean room.

Although old, these management guys did their best to satisfy their customers. It was a week after Labor Day weekend and quite quiet in town. It was close to the beach and boardwalk and also Rio Grande Route 47 street to the Garden State Parkway, which made it easy to come in and out of town.

Hotel shower didnt work properly, beds were decent but could be better, only one mirror and thats in the bathroom, overall just a place close to everything and somewhere to lay my head.

Great location to the boardwalk and convention center. Management very nice! Rooms were clean. Only complaint was the beds...very uncomfortable. Looking for a place near the boardwalk and convention center would recommend this place.

The only thing we found out later that was missing was that there was suppose to be coffee in the room, but other than that we had a great time and the hotel was good and the staff friendly.

The Room was a little small but we did expect that. One issue was that the door to the room opened outward not inward...it was a potential safety hazard as we had to open the door slowly as not to "hit" anyone walking by. The room was relatively clean.... the bathroom was very clean as were the beds. the carpet did need to be cleaned. There was a slight musty smell in the room with the ac on..... we placed bounce sheets around the room.... for u travelers the Bounce dryer sheets r great for overcoming a musty odor. The service was very good. Steve actually walked as out to show us where to park our car as we were getting back late from the Association concert in Cape MAy. Location was very good. a block from the boardwalk and the beach. There is a dinner just across the street.... and a Macdonalds about 5 or 6 blocks away. There is a dinner on the boardwalk also. There is a nice pool. Overall its what we expected for the cost.

Great location... But the room smelled terrible! There was some unidentified objects coming out of the bathroom sink when the water was turned on... Things floating up out of the drain... I swear it looked and smelled like shrimp peels! And there was a sour chunky milk like substance coating the bottom of the microwave! Great location however.

the person on duty kept calling because he was worried he might have to stay longer for us to check in. the shower head flew off. the television didnt work. there was not enough room to sit down and let people pass out side your room. the pool hours change with the mood of the staff. basically a run down place. i guess they make there money either way. sad. would never stay again.

The gentlemen at the front desk were more than helpful. The room was fairly clean, as clean as an old hotel can be. We did notice a stain on one of the comforters, the bath towels were very starched (making them hard) and although they offer a coffee maker there was no coffee in the room. It is close to everything..boardwalk, restaurants, beach and a 24 hr Rite Aid. Parking is extremely tight so a big vehicle could be an issue. The hotel still uses keys for the rooms to give you an indication of age.

It was a nice room in the heart of WildWood,basicaly just needed the room while visiting family,front desk helpful until you needed to move your car.......poor parking. If you didn't pull your car up to the concrete block you would be blocking other patrons in which is what happened to us!!Thanks to my small Mazda Protege I was able to get out!!! Other vacationers weren't so lucky.Manager had no idea who's car it was and didn't have it towed at least during my brief stay. Other than that,nice stay on a fixed budget!!!

Our stay was good. The pool is a little small but you are 1 block from the beach so it didn't matter. The location was great. A grocery store right across the street and bars, liquor store within walking distance. The hotel was clean but could use upgrading on TV and softer bed and darker drapes to keep the sun from beaming in the morning. My family had a great time and the price was affordable. We will definitaly go back.

It was not a good place to stay.

we usually stayed at casa del sol because it was closer to the boardwalk. this MOTEL is a lot better. we will stay again.

The room was fine .it was an overnight stay after a day at the beach.The pool was great as was the staff.The sheets were clean but the bathroom,was awful..moldy shower curtin...disgusting.Toilet seat broken...Would think twice about ever staying there again..

We were at Wildwood for the Soccer Beachblast and we had a great time. The hotel was great location and the hotel manager and staff were very friendly. We had no trouble parking,were able to check in earlier and we were very satisfied.....I would stay here again :)

I have stayed in wildwood by far the worst motel.

All we really do in our hotels is rest and use the bathroom, so I'm not usually interested in fantastic accomodations. I simply like it clean and usefull for what I need. There were no plugs for the tub and I have children so I couldn't give them a bath. I had to spray them down "shower style" which they're both a little young for. All the maids did was to empty the garbage. They didn't replenish towels, make beds or clean the bathroom.

One day stay was fine. The facility is an older, beach motel. There is the wear and tear that comes with an older building. The room was clean, the bathroom modest but recently redone, the pool was refreshing. One block from the beach. I would stay there again.

Place was a rat hole

It was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Half of us wanted to go to the beach the other half wanted to stay at the pool. There were pleanty of restaurants, shops, even fresh fruit delivered by a local. We had a complimentary barbeque grill to use...the parking is free...the people running it were very nice. We will definately stay there again.

Affordable and convenient.

I have to say the room was not the cleanest, but the location was good. And i have seen alot worse for the price.

We were fooled into thinking the motel was decent according to the pictures. We arrived to find a door that wouldn't shut right (previously kicked in), broken mattress box spring, some kind of 'stuff' on the wall. I was really bummed about the condition - and especially the price. I will certainly avoid this motel in the future.

It was convient

The room was unclean. There was garbage on the grounds open and rummaged through. The linen was stained and dingy as well as the mattress . There was no iron or telephone available in the room. There was no one available in the office after 9pm. There were people hanging out in front of the rooms smoking cigarettes. The bathroom sink was clogged. This was the second room we looked at and they both were the same even though we knew the hotel rating we never expected it to be that bad we did expect to have a clean bed to sleep in as well as clean linen with a shower. Also there was a fee for ice and the ice bucket was dirty with no liner

Very loud neighbors while trying to sleep, shower a bit noisey

It was perfect for my family and I. They offered free parking, we had a direct contact number to the man at the front desk and we were across the street from a 24hr Rite Aid. The boardwalk was 2 blocks away and my family thought we were next to the better of the 3 amusement parks.

Let me keep this short - don't stay there for any reason at any time. To say the place is filthy would be kind. It appears the owner has not spent a dollar on maintenance in 20 years. Ignore my comments and you will regret it!

Locking bolt jammed the first morning.. and I was locked IN the room. Ended up having to climb out of the window, bruising my leg badly. Bed very uncomfortable... woke up 2nd night with bites. Don't know what it was. Didn't see bed bugs but I was bitten four times on my face and arms. Will not go back, will not reccomend.

Not worth the cheaper rate, having to worry about linens, towels, etc. TV didn't work well and room was dingy.

The room was dirty didn't look like the sheets were clean as well as dirty towles in the bathroom when I showed up. Maids did not make the beds as well as the beds were not comfortable. Hotel was in a run down part of town. I would not stay here if you can help it. Very bad experience
