Arion Hotel - אתונה

The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are very small, the breakfast is pretty good. I don't know if i would stay there again though...

this hotel is really nice, we had a wonderful view from our room, very tasty breakfast. The location is perfect for the metro station, 3 mins walk to metro station. Lots of restaurants and cafe's around, resonable price, recommended

Probably the best thing about this hotel was the fantastic view of the Acropolis from our balcony. The room is pretty modern-looking in terms of room decorations, but cleanliness is lacking just a tad. It's convenient to get to from Monastiraki metro station, and very easy to walk to the major sights of historical Athens. I think I'd rather stay here than in Plaka itself, since it was pretty quiet and we got good rest.

We stayed one night so it was ok, had to check out early so we didn't get to eat breakfast. there was a little bit of mold in the bathroom, the surrounding area was full of graffiti but that is a problem all over Athens.The mattress was hard for my taste. But the overall appearance of the hotel is nice.Very conveniently located near Plaka area and withing walking distance to all the attractions.

Hotel is located very near Restaurants, Railway Stations and a Square. Hotel staff very helpful, even gave us the choice of 2 rooms. Having breakfasts included was a great bonus. We were able to securely leave our room and travel overnight to Meteora, with the knowledge that all would be safe. WE appreciated our stay at the Arion Hotel very much, and would recommend to others. We are a mature-aged couple with much travel experience, so enjoyed the location and comfort of this 3 star hotel in Athens.

This was a very nice hotel. The room was very clean and modern, and I was ABSOLUTELY in love with the bathroom. The roof garden was really cool too, since you could see the Acropolis from there. The only drawbacks I would point out would be the television and location. The TV was not a flat screen, and didn't offer as many channels, and as for location, although it wasn't really dodgy, it was a bit difficult to find in the middle of the buildings that were covered with graffitis. But I would DEFINITELY stay here again, if I come back to Athens!

The hotel is in a great location, just a 5 minute walk to Monastiraki Square. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. The rooftop patio has an amazing view of the Acropolis. Only one very small complaint: the showers are poorly designed and after every shower, there is water all over the bathroom floor. Regardless, I would stay there again.

Found this hotel was perfectly located and the rooftop views are excellent. Walked to all the usual tourist attractions and museums-nothing further than a km in any direction. Metro is 350m away so easy to get to airport but watch for pickpockets. Plenty of eating places just around the corner and didn't find the alleys around the hotel to be of any concern, even very late as well lit up. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Even organized laundry which some places we've stayed at previously struggled with.

The hotel surroundings are run down, or recovering, which detracts from the hotel, which is clean, very friendly, comfortable and quiet. Proximity of Metro, with direct run to airport is another plus. Being ion the periphery of a huge flea market on Sunday is entertaining. Good friendly places to eat 50m away. We never went further.

Really good value for your money. If you are not looking for a five star hotel, I suggest you check ut this one, as it is a clean and comfortable hotel. The hotel is also good located, close to a lot of nice restaurants.

I stayed at the Arion for one night and it was a perfect stay in every way. The balcony of the room (6th floor) was incredible, with unobstructed views of the Acropolis! The room and the lobby areas were tidy and inviting, and the hotel staff (especially Alfredo) could not have been more accommodating, recommending the best route for seeing the important sights in the short time I had in Athens and nice places to eat. The neighbourhood (Psiri) is also very interesting, and I don't mean this is a negative way. Don't be mislead by the graffiti: Psiri is home to some wonderful restaurants and an active art scene, as well as being very close to the street markets of Omonia. It may have an edgy aesthetic, but as 27-year-old female, travelling on my own, and I felt perfectly safe in this neighbourhood, indeed safer than I did when walking around the more tourist-y areas. Nice opportunity to be very close to the centre, with easy access to the airport, but to be in area less populated by tourists.

Perfect for its price! Great location, breakfast included and the rooms are great. The bad thing is that the neighborhood at night is not the nicest, but I have a feeling that is Athens all over.

very clean hotel in good location close to shops, restaurants and metro, only down side is no pool, besides that everything was great and would stay here again.

I have stayed at the Arion about ten times over the last six years and it has never disappointed. Perfect location. Clean modern rooms - attractive bathrooms and with luck - a balcony overlooking the church. Helpful relaxed hotel staff.

The hotel is located quite near to metro station, about 5-10 mins walk. The deco is contemporary and modern. The view from our room is fantastic. We have a clear view of acropolis and it is really awesome. The room we have is big and comes with bathtub. The receptionist is really helpful. When we checked out early morning, he offered to direct us to nearest metro station and tell us how to get to Piraeus Port. Their service is really excellent, willing to accommodate our request. The only bad thing is it is located in a tiny street, so it is not easy to find. Nonetheless, it is still a hidden gem in the city.

Well located, near Plaka and Syntagma metro station. Big rooms, but quite old. Breakfest was poor but ok for the price. Good view to acropolis from the terrace where breakfest is served. My wife left her coat in a reception sofa for 10-15min and when she came back to ask for it, it had gone. There were no customers there at the time so we suspected it was taken by one of the hotel staff though we could not prove. Very dissapointed.

Mi sono trovato molto bene, vicino a Monastiraki la Plaka e athenas dove c'è il mercato di Atene da visitare

min kæreste og jeg har været super tilfredse med vores ophold, og vil klart anbefale det til andre. vi havde nogle specielle krav, bla at vi skulle forlade hotellet tidligt om morgenen, så hotellet sørgede for god morgen mad klokken 03.15 og en engelsk talende taxi til lufthavnen, en super service som jeg ikke har oplevet andre steder. de bedste hilsner Søren og Tanja.

Ηταν ενα αρκετο καλο ξενοδοχειο. Καλη αντιστοιχια τιμης -διαμονης!! Ηταν καθαρο, τα δωματια οπως ακριβως φαινονται στις φωτογραφιες , ανετα και φαιν.οντουσαν προσφατα ανακαινησμενα!! Το μόνο αρνητικό ήταν το πρωινό που ηταν ιδιαιτερα φτωχο! Αρκετα κόντα με τα πόδια σε μοναστηρακι ( 3 λεπτα με τα ποδια) Τα καλα δωμάτια δυστηχως δεν εχουν διπλο κρεββατι!!

最上階のバスタブつきの部屋で清潔で広く快適でした。アメニティの香りがとても良く幸せ。朝食も種類豊富で美味しかったです。

Alt i alt et rigtig godt hotel til prisen. Tror faktisk de forsøger at få den fjerde stjerne...

God beliggenhet, nært alle severdigheter, men ikke mye støy. Super service. Rene rom. Vi skrev på ved bestilling: "please balcony if available", og fikk rom i 6. etasje med fin utsikt over Akropolis! Stor balkong. Greit å være klar over at badet/toalettet er bygget ut i rommene med glassdører (til dels frostet), så du bør kjenne reisefølget godt. Ok frokost, akkurat det du trenger, men ikke særlig mer. Vi drar gjerne tilbake til dette hotellet.

El hotel esta bien, la habitacion triple es una doble con cama adicional, por lo que queda chica para 3 personas. desayuno aceptable, esta bien ubicado muy cerca de la Plaza Monasteraki, lugar de reunion de mucha juventud por las noches, Es recomendable, teniendo en cuenta que las habitaciones son chicas. no mas de 2 personas.

Hotel à 2 mn de la station Monastiraki, dans une petite rue calme. Chambre confortable avec clim, frigo (vide), sdb avec baignoire, tv cathodique et chaines pas vraiment bien reçues, wifi gratuit accessible sans problème. Bonne insonorisation. Petit déjeuner complet. Une bonne adresse.

Os pontos negativo do Arion Hotel são: cama extra era muito pequena, deixava meu pé de fora, e o café da manhã não era muito diversificado.

Gutes, sauberes Hotel, zentral in einem urbanen Viertel gelegen. Kurze Wege zum Monastiraki, zahlreiche typische Einzelhandelsgeschäfte in den umliegenden Straßen (auch Nähe Fisch-/Fleischmarkt). Restaurants, Bars und Tavernen in ca. 100 m Entfernung. Zimmer in 6. Etage mit mit Blick in Richtung Akropolis. Darüber eine schöne Dachterrasse. Frühstücksbuffet ausreichend. Personal am Empfang freundlich und hilfsbereit. In unserem Fall ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Très bon souvenir

Just 2 streets and you will see the difference. The hotel is good and staff are helpful. From the outlook, you can't relearize it is a hotel. A small entrance. A lot of hardware and household stores around. Good to know the daily life of Greek.

Det var et ok ophold, men man skulle lige vende sig til at badeværelset havde en glas låge som ikke lukkede helt tæt. Værelset var lidt småt men ok. Beliggenheden var i top, tæt ved metro, centrum og små steder så som bar, caféer og taverne.

Hotel bem localizado, perto da base da acrópole., mas arredores do hotel de ruim qualidade, suja. Mendigos na rua no primeiro dia e após não mais.Quartos espaçosos, confortáveis. Bom café da manha.Se for com familia não é boa opção pelos arredores em si.

Bon rapport qualité prix. La situation de l'hôtel est excellente car centrale. Très belle vue panoramique de la terrasse. Seul bémol: le manque d'intimité de la salle de bain qui n'est séparée de la chambre que par une porte en verre. Pour le reste la chambre est très confortable.

Passer perfekt for de som skal se bla Akropolis. Det var gangavstand til alle severdigheter. Hotellet var relativt nyoppusset og et av de bedre storbyhotell jeg har bodd på til en hyggelig pris. Området rundt var ikke så vakkert, men det var bare noen hundre meter til turistområdene. Kan absolutt anbefales.
