Room was very clean with a very comfortable bed. Good coffee.

a good-sized room, but fixtures, bedding are outdated...bathroom clean enough but flooring was peeling up, the toilet too small and too low to ground (reminded me of a trip to India several years ago)...the continental breakfast was decent...it would have been a reasonable value at 1/2 the price.

The hostess/clerk/Mgr was very cordial and kind. Very helpful. Loved the town and it's surroundings. The rooms were typical Motel fashion with hard beds, otherwise clean. The TV is the old school solid state, but hey, there was a remote control and cable channels. Close to the Cape's tip and Close to Groceries. There is a complimentary coffee and pastries breakfast.

Great location if you are planning to cycle or run on the bike trail and close to the Idle Times Bike Shop. We stayed there during April school vacation, very early in the season, so it was too soon to even think about using the pool. The room was clean and the dorm-sized fridge was convenient, as was the gracious offer to check in early and check out late, which was also very accommodating.

We found our stay very comfortable. We would stay there again if the occasion arises.

I think the Motel was an adequate place. The free continental breakfast was ok, no different from most places. My major complaint is the room deodorizer, it was so strong that it kept me awake. The cleanliness of the bathroom was very good, however the towel holder fell off to reveal that it was not fastened very strongly. I would stay there again if I had to, it was a decent value.

The room was very clean but dated. Very basic with no frills but worth staying at if all you want is a clean bed and shower. Staff was very nice. A simple continental breakfast was included. A great central location for the bay or ocean beaches, and exploring the cape. The pool is heated.

Our room was large and spacious, the beds comfortable, and all necessary amenities were provided. Helen was most helpful in confirming all details and making sure that we were well cared for.

Deep swimming pool, great help with all our questions by owner Miss Helen. Besides the older rooms nothing to complaint about our stay. The kids love to stay here so we extended our stay from 3 till 4 days. Good place to visit several beaches in the surrounding area.

The Captain's Quarters was comfortable and well maintained. Management is friendly and helpful. Location is great; right next to the rail trail and convenient to many restaurants. You will have to drive or bike to the beaches, though. Continental breakfast included is a plus.

The continental breakfast could use an upgrade. no waffle maker. But the premises was clean and only 1.6 miles to nauset beach - easily accessible by bicycle on a safe route. would stay again

We enjoyed our stay and would come again because of the location and the pleasant service.

Located close to national seashore, short drive to P Town. Substantial continental breakfast. Friendly staff. Missed having a coffee pot in the room.

Staff was very nice. It's on rte 6 so you can hear/see traffic. Nothing special but what I expected for price.

The staff was super nice. The rooms were a little outdated but clean. But 2 of the lights in the room didn't work. But we got the place last minute and the price was right. I would recommend it but for out of towners, know that it's not the Hilton - it's your typical Cape Cod style motel.

The room was nice and the location was great. Pool was small and alittle cloudy.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable do not expect more than a clean comfortable place, there are no frills. I would stay again if anything because the staff was so nice.

We stayed at Captain's Quarter's 2 years ago and by mistake booked it again this year. It is close to Nauset Beach and Light where we wanted to be and the price was reasonable as it was 2 years ago. The hotel is on busy rte 6 but set far enough back so that you don't hear the traffic. There is no way to walk to very much. On the other hand, the motel had improved --new beds in the bedroom, clean, functional furniture, wifi, refridgerator; and service seemed better, pool was cleaner and opened longer hours. Breakfast service was adequate and opened early. It is a place to come in and drop your things and then go out for the day. It would be nice if there were chairs outside of the rooms to sit in the evening, even if it is just overlooking a parking lot.

Overall good experience. A lady at the reception is very helpful and gave us lots of information. Price is okay too including a decent breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The Manager on site was extremely helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this motel. You won't be disappointed.

Great hotel rates for.location

The room was dark and outdated. Beds were very comfortable. Air conditioners were loud but worked very well. Perfect if you are not planning on spending much time there.

Management at the hotel was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and nicely appointed. Pool was heated, perfect for early morning or evening swims. Would stay there again.

Liked the new mattresses. Cable. WiFi. Needs waterproof shower curtains and more pillows

The room was clean and extremely comfortable. It did NOT have any musty smell like some of the other places I have stayed on the Cape. It was a little dated but otherwise it was a great place to stay. Everyone was very nice! It was in a great location and easy to get to. I would definitely stay there again!

The room was OK, the service by the staff was excellent, questions were answered well, and requests were responded to quickly. Close to many areas of interest

Had a great time.. Hotel definately older, but in great shape. Would have liked to see pool in better shape.

Room was very clean and the bed comfortable. AC worked well even in very hot humid conditions. Outdoor pool was excellent.

Great check-in. Room was acceptable but the hotel was located in a great area.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are motel style and nothing special. Clean enough, cool enough, pretty quiet. The place is between the main drag and the bike path. It's not especially near anything, but the other motels and hotels are situated in similar spots. Breakfast is adequate, but nothing special: Boxed pastry, bread, cereal, coffee and juice. On the second morning, we brought our own yogurt. Although this review sounds luke-warm, I find this place a perfect choice compared with the much more expensive places in the area that are not significantly nicer. I will likely return there next year. Also, there were a number of large families that were using multiple rooms that seemed to be having a blast! There is also a conference or social room. So I could imagine a big family reunion or mini-conference setting up here.

Friendly staff and great location

This hotel looks a bit dated from the outside, but the rooms are clean and comfortable and it has a nice outdoor pool. Rooms have refrigerator and microwave and the staff will set up outdoor grills for you (complete with charcoal, etc.) if requested, which is wonderful when travelling with children. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great - very close to the National Seashore visitor center and beaches, stores, and restaurants. We would stay there again.

Nothing special but doable for a couple nights. Needs updating!

I was extremely disappointed in this hotel based on the cost - I expected a lower end facility but not quite this low end. The amenities were supposed to include a coffee pot in the room (non-existent) and cable but no coffee pot and cable was less than promised due to a change in provider. On the good side, however, it was adjacent to the rails to trails path and very close to the National Seashore.

The owner is very nice. She recommended good restraunts, places to go etc. We did went to her recommended restraunts and places, and are happy. The room is clean. A little bit noicy because of highway 6. But it is fine. We think it is a good choice.

The owner lives on the property and was very sweet. The faucet dripped a little and there was a stain on the couch, but nothing really to complain about. We might even return in a few months.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon. We had never been to the Cape before and so we had no reference point for where to stay. We literally thought that it was affordable enough so we booked it figuring it would be a place to sleep. That said, we only slept there and spent our days exploring Ptown and the surrounding beaches. The room itself was clean, bed was a bit hard, but not horrible. It was surprisingly quiet considering the number of families that were staying there. The breakfast was a selection of breads/bagels, cereals, and mini muffins. Juice and coffee was available all day. The manager was very friendly and helpful. We may consider staying there again for a family vacation but not a romantic getaway as it is 30 minutes from Ptown.

Friendly, clean, quiet, and convenient to Eastham area attractions such as Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Sanctuary and many sections of the Cape Cod National Seashore.
