it was old and abused

I travel with my family with a child. The front desk people were very helpful and friendly. There are a few shopping plazas near the hotel. One needs to cross a few 5-car-lane streets to find the shopping areas. You will find Italian, Japaneses and many types of Latin food. The hotel airport free shuttle only serve on each hour. Keep updating and calling the hotel for 5 times after landing in Miami, we waited at the pick up of the airport for one hour. The hotel room is very small for 2 full beds. No breakfast for us. It starts on 6am. But, we have to leave the hotel on 6am the next morning, because the shuttle only leaves on each hour. Advice: plan to eat breakfast at the airport. We were able to get warm full breakfast at the airport for $6/per person.

I was travelling with my 4 year old son and needed a clean safe place to overnight before our connecting flight out of Miami International Airport. Booked a standard room with 2 double beds. Room was clean, everything worked, water pressure in the shower was very good, beds were quite comfortable. Hotel is in the business area so not much to see BUT you are within walking distance of a variety of eating places. Breakfast was good and plentiful - Waffles, hot eggs and chopped ham, together with a nice selection of bakery goods (breads, biscuits, donuts)and dry cereals and yogurts. Plus milks, juices, and 24 hour coffee and tea. Make sure you get to the breakfast area by 9 am! Free wife, 2 computers in the lobby with a wifi printer and staff that were all very helpful. I arrived close to 11pm and Was accommodated with a late checkout request. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was next to very busy highway as well as the airport. Guests where hanging out chatting next to the elevator most of the night. There is a picture in the bathroom with mold on the inside of the glass. When I mentioned this to the front desk, the response was "oh, sorry", no other comment. I have never stayed in a hotel with such uncaring customer service.

Overall, I was dissatisfied with my stay at the hotel. There was a moving roach on the nightstand and when the hotel staff was notified, I was completely brushed off. In addition the complimentary "breakfast" was a total sham. I could have gotten fruit anywhere.

Hotel looked nothing like the pictures they posted , it was noisy ,service was slow, it's in a hard to find location , the breakfast was the worst i have ever had ... would not recommend it to any one i know , nor would i choose to stay there again

Overall I think the Hotel was very satisfying

Horrible hotel that is way overpriced and has the worst quality in every area. Next time I'll just stay at the airport, it will be better in every way.

I timed that a jumbo jet flies only 500 feet above the hotel every 1.5 minutes. If you are a light sleeper like myself, this could be a problem. The surrounding area isnt that great either. You are literally in front of the highway and there's a correctional facility down the road.

when i pulled into the hotel they were doing maintenance on the building outstide so i thought i was about to walk into a dirty motel...when i entered the lobby they were nicely decorated, and smelt good...the staff was friendly and efficient...when we went to the door to let us in the hallway to our room, it had a card reader, when we tried to scan the key it didnt light up so we walked back to the front desk and tried again but still did not work...we went to the desk a 3rd time and the man came and opened it right up with out the key...security wise, that didnt make me too happy...when we finally got into out room it was clean and up to date...a nice flat screen tv and clean sheets...i was expecting the rough, scratchy blankets like in the cheap motels....there was a leak under the sink that caused the carpet to be a little damp but i didnt complain to the desk since i was only there for one night....the only other thing i can think of is the breakfast was only from 6-9am and i didnt wake up till 9:30 so it would be nice if they kept it out a little longer...over all it was a nice place and i would go back again

The rrom we reserved was just for NYE, close to where we were going to be going. The airpot was close by and we did have Airplane noise but it was ok. The room could have been cleaner, the staff was very helpful and considerate. We would stay here again .

I needed a room due to cancelled flights out of MIA, and it fulfilled that purpose. It was better than sleeping on the floor of the airport, but that is about the best I can say. The room was made up, but didn't strike me as clean. The shower handle fell off when taking a shower. It was a functional room, and like I said, it works for a quick overnight due to a cancelled flight, but didn't think it lived up the the Quality Inn name.

It was OK. Nothing special. A little pricey to take a cab anywhere. They did have a shuttle from airport that was prompt. Staying there served it's purpose. There was a cool Cuban bar-store-restaurant a couple of blocks away that even had a live band outside. Thanks for the stay

Was close and convenient, shuttle was very handy and arrived in a reasonable time after we called. If you catch a taxi back to the airport allow plenty of time, ours was late and almost cost us our flight. 26 yr old experienced traveller

We only stayed there for one night because we just came into Miami off a cruise from the Bahamas & our flight wasn't until the next day. The rooms were nice, much bigger than I had thought. Everything was fine UNTIL WE SAW A ROACH CRAWLING ON THE TV. We locked up our suitcases because we didn't want bugs in our stuff. They need to get an exterminator.

The hotel need an urgent remodelation.

The housekeeping was inconsistent from day to day but I didn't actually run out of anything. The hotel's laundry service was unavailable when I needed it. The shuttle service to Miami airport was very convenient and frequent. I'd stay here again.

The lobby was nice-looking as was the dining room. Good standard breakfast. The food area looked clean and well-presented. I thought that the frozen dinners in the lobby was a very good idea for late-night travelers. I almost got one myself, but opted for pizza. The main problem that I had was that the bathroom was in really bad shape. The plunger in the sink was jammed down the drain hole so that the water wouldn't drain. The toilet "whined" loudly upon flushing and the tub faucet dripped all night. When I tried to get into my room in the morning after breakfast, the door was stuck. The girl behind the front desk kindly came to my room and had to throw herself against the door to open it. So I think that the rooms aren't as in good of a condition as the lobby/public areas and require better ongoing maintenance. Those kinds of things would only have taken about 1 hour to fix total, but would have substantially increased my rating.

The rating was higher that the reality. Rooms/bathrooms need complete remodeling. Carpet color and style also need change.

The Airport pickup is a farce, had to wait for over an hour and a half, and make two reminder calls before I got picked up by a Hampton Inn hotel coach.The small lobby was crowded and only one staff member was looking after everything there. He was the telephone operator, the check in / check out guy etc. It took over 45 mins after I arrived at the hotel before I was given my room keys. The next mornings breakfast was an equally sorry affair, no eggs as advertised, hardly any seating with the result the small restuarant/ room was packed, while everybody else waited to get the few meager offerrrings there were available. All in All a baaad experience.

Comfortable for a night to catch a flight. A bit noisy as it was right under the flight path of jets. Slightly older hotel, but looks recently renovated. Overall not bad. Room was clean, and the shuttle service was good. Just make sure to call them from the airport right away.

Front desk couldnt find my reservation she had to look for it for too long which guest dont feel like waiting when they get to a hotel tired at night

The personal was very friendly, clean rooms, service was great. Perfect for a family vacation.

my stay was good the only problem was the bathroom had a musty smell but thats not a big deal because I was gone most of the time after all I was in miami to party not sit in the room , so im going to say my stay convient great locatoin the hotel did'nt knock on my door once ithe maid service respected my wishes an the property was very clean im happy Darren m. Witson
