Quiet rooms, hot water was very hot. It was a little hassle to get another set of key cards to use the indoor pool.

The hotel was exactly as described. My children looked forward to swimming every day. The breakfast was good. The afternoon meals did not follow the calendar but were convenient. There was no chain restaurants nearby. Shuttle can take you to Dulles airport where you can ride Metro bus to Metro station. Expect to pay $6 cash for each person each way for rhe bus. Purchase your metro passes online in advance for savings. Prepare to pay for travel in DC. If you drive into town. $1.75 in tolls. $22-30 in parking fees wherever you park.

It's a nice a hotel except that there is nothing near you. Most of the stores and restaurants are about 10 minutes away. You have to drive to go and eat.

The pleased with cleanliness of room. Room size was good for 2 adults and 2 children. Only one mirror in room which made getting ready a little difficult in the morning. The hot breakfast was delicious and well stocked. The indoor pool was well mantained and shared with Embassy Suites next door.

The hotel was extremely good value for money. It is a bit a a drive into downtown washigton. However, the rooms were very comfortable for a family of 5. The breakfasts and dinners provided surpassed our high expectations.

We had to have our room changed three times once we checked in to get the correct room configuration based on our reservation. Staff were very accommodating in this regard, but running up and down was annoying after a long road trip. The room was adequate, but after reading the reviews of others who stayed here, we expected a lot more. The room was tired and worn and the bed was hard. The main lamp in the living room was broken and the phone was imprinted with the name of a competing hotel chain with incorrect phone numbers. On a positive note, water pressure was great, so the shower was excellent, staff were nice, and the included hot breakfast and dinner were good. While there were a few places to eat within walking distance, the hotel was in an industrial area with office buildings and another hotel next door. If you were flying into Dulles AP, the location was excellent.

Great location, nice breakfast, affordable rates, clean room, excellent amenities (soap, shampoo, coffee, etc...) Highly recommended!

Friendly staff

The gentleman that helped me at the front desk was super welcoming and accommodating. I was able to get an early check-in without hassle. The shuttle took me to my appointment (just 1.5 miles away) and even picked me up when I was done. Both shuttle drivers were very friendly and professional. The rooms were great and had everything you could need. Wish I had to stay at this hotel longer than only one night. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!

The guest room was comfy, very spacious, equipped kitchen. Breakfast had excellent selection. Attached to Embassy Suites which gave access to indoor pool. Exercise room adequate. Public areas in hotel getting a bit worn down. Convenient if you have a car.

We had a nice, large room, very clean, well-maintained and quiet. We liked being able to adjust the room temperature. The hot breakfasts were great, and we were very pleased with our stay.

We were very pleased with our entire stay. The room was very comfortable and the staff very helpful. We would definitely recommend it especially at the great price we got at Hotels.com.

Staff was very helpful and the breakfast really started day off right.

2 queen 1 king bed but don't expect to get it. we booked for 2 queen 1 king bed but when we arrived we only got 2 queen beds and a roll up bed. Very disappointing.

Overall, very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning made a loud noise when running. The Toaster oven didn't work and the replacement unit they brought to replace it was almost as bad. Minor annoyances -- overall an exceptional value for the money on weekends.

This was our first time here. It felt like being at home. The staff was friendly and courteous, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was awesome something for everyone's taste buds.

This is a wonderful place to stay with a family. We had a warm breakfast every monrning and dinner during the week. I wouldfecommend this place to anyone.

Great location. Good Services -- Full Breakfast, Internet (both wired and wireless), Light Dinner. Friendly people. Good layout, etc. Housekeeping needs some work. The floor in my suite was absolutely filthy. There were mysterious stains and spots all over it. My clean white sox were dirty from wearing around inside. I bent down to get something I dropped and noticed a sock peaking out from under the dust ruffle left by a previous guest - yuck. Also, the room was on the first floor and the windows were not only unlocked, but they were the kind of windows that can tilt in for cleaning -- and they were not in their tracks, so they could easily be pushed in. Fortunately I thought to check them!

This hotel suited our need for an inexpensive stay for our family of 4. We stayed here for 5 nights as we visited Washington D.C. and a family member in Baltimore. About a half hour drive to the nearest metro. It would have been nice to be closer, but it was worth the amenities of having a 2 room suite with a kitchenette. We enjoyed the complimentory breakfast each morning which had plenty of hot and cold options. We were only at the hotel 1 evening for the complimentary week night dinner, but it was also very good with complimentary beer and wine as well. It saved us the cost of a meal out. The indoor pool is in the connecting Embasy Suites, but still very convenient. The kids loved the pool. My only complaint is that twice we asked for extra bath towells and the front desk said they would have housekeeping deliver to our room and they never did. I will definately seek other Homewood Suites when travelling as a family.

We got a good deal on Hotels.com. We checked in and found out we were upgraded to an even better room. Our good deal turned into a phenominal deal. We found out how much these rooms usually go for. The place was amazing, exceeded all of our expectations. Great service, good free breakfast, PLUS, they do not list it but we got a FREE DINNER too, Mon to Thurs. We stayed for a week and that was a huge bonus! Very highly recomend this place!!

We enjoyed our stay the livingroom area is small but overall the room was nice we had a old TV but it was ok since I didnt watch it anyway... we met some other guest there that told us you have to request a flat screen TV. the staff was great, we had some issues with the TV connection hooking the game up since it didnt have HD and staff maintanence Stephen was Great he provided wonderful customer service and resolved our issue... We would stay again!

After searching for the right hotel for my family and I, I settled for homewood suites in ash burn,va. It was the right choice. Clean. Accessible for wheelchair..friendly staff..and a full delicious breakfast. The only complaint I have was the high levels of chlorine in the pool..it made a few of the children sick . other than that, it is absolutely a place where I would stay again.

A very friendly and comfortable hotel. Free Internet, breakfast and shuttle services. Excellect!

My stay was nice and comfortable, but I was not pleased with the staff as they woke me up at 9am, just to collect dirty towels. I felt this was not an emergency and could've waited till later.

Great place, good service and the food/ breakfast were excellent can wait to go back. Manager was always aroung making sure everyone was well taken care

I was pleasantly surprised when my family checked into the Homewood Suites hotel to find that not only did they offer a free breakfast each morning, but they also offered a free dinner at night on Mon - Thur. This was a great surprise and money saver! Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Only complaint that I would have is that the kitchen floor needed to be washed (not just vacuumed). Our kids really enjoyed the indoor pool that is shared with the Embassy Suites next door (the 2 hotels are connected by a hallway). Since we were there in April, it was too early for an outdoor pool. This was one of the reason we chose this hotel and we were not disappointed. The pool was a very good size and there was also a whirlpool. After sight-seeing all day, this was a nice place to return to and enjoy! Would recommend to any family staying in the DC area.

GOOD FOOD, GREAT POOL, GREAT SERVICE

Nice clean hotel, comfortable beds. Nice service, free parking, breakfast and wireless internet. For the price it is charging I have no complaint. Will definite stay there again. I drove to DC, but if you don't have a car, it is a bit of distance away from DC.

This is a great hotel, and perfect for business. The price (through Hotels.com) was great, the reception was great, and everything was good. Free great breakfast, free wireless, free printer access, really nice people, quality accommodations, fantastic Dulles location. We could not have been happier with the choice.

My family & I stayed at Homewood Suites Dulles North for 9 nights in July. Everything was impressive. The breakfast was very complete, including scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, varied breads, waffles, hot oatmeal w/ toppings, yogurt, fruit, etc. all in a fairly spacious room. Dinner served M-Th included salad, main dish, side, & wine/beer/soft drinks, or tea. The dinner hostess was sweet & very helpful. The free shuttle we utilized almost daily was surprisingly efficient (more so leaving from the hotel - very prompt, than pickup for return to hotel - not always prompt). The outdoor & indoor pools were lots of fun. The staff was helpful throughout our stay with requests for more pans for the kitchen, or tongs for a BBQ at the pool, or change for the laundry, etc. A Moe's Mexican food place & a 5 Guys burger are next door for weekend days when dinner isn't served. The only downside to us of this hotel is the time it took us to travel into Washington D.C. utilizing the hotel shuttle & the airport bus. The hotel is about a 20-30 min. drive to the West Falls Church metro, which is about 20-30 min. from central Washington D.C. If you don't have a car, the hotel shuttle to the airport bus into Washington will take you between 75 min. - 120 min. depending on smooth connections & rush hour. As for the hotel itself, we couldn't have been happier with the suite room, full kitchen, wi-fi connection, bed comfort, food quality, service, and everything else about our experience.
