Town & Country Inn and Suites - צ'רלסטון

Although the room was nice, there is a fan in the vanity area that runs constantly and is very noisy. We asked the front desk about the noise and they said it was working as designed. If this is the case the design is wrong. The only way that you can quiet the noise to close every door in the area and then the bathroom gets so cold that you can hardly stand it. For the suite price, you expect more than what we got in this area.

We did not want to spend a fortune while visitng Charleston and this hotel, just renovated did the trick. The staff is warm, friendly and incredible. The room renovation that of a 4-4.5 star hotel. Custom cabinetry through the room-also very spacious, two generous queens and a sitting area, and luxurious quality bedding and duvets with an abundance of hyper allergenic pillows!! Large flats screen TV, free Wifi, convenient mini refrig. microwave (if you need it). Bathroom transitional in style, shower and tub, nicely done. The hotel has a very nice pool area, and offers a work out room, everything very well maintained. Although in good condition, we we told that the lobby, restaurant area will be renovated next and and a small business center created to print out boarding passes etc. We can only imagine this will be done tastefully as well. Over all, we recommend this hotel, great value, upscale service, welcoming. We usually prefer boutique hotels but would definatley stay here again. Just a 15 min drive into the old city.

It was a good stay overall. The hotel is very nice and clean with great service. Parking is limited an the location is decent in relation to downtown charleston.

The hotel was attractive and had good amenities. The room was new and clean and very comfortable. The surrounding area is not particularly attractive and it would have been nice to really be in Charleston, but the hotel is convenient to the highway and the drive into downtown was only about 10 minutes. Plus we found a couple of good restaurants very nearby.

Decent restaurant with buffets for breakfast, lunch, Brunch on the weekend, and dinner. Very reasonable rates and close enough to downtown Charleston.

Totally enjoyed our three day stay at this beautiful Inn. Our room had the shower separate from the bath tub. Granite countertops in bedroom and bathroom. Ceramic coffee mugs are provided with a great coffee maker. The linens were 5 star hotel quality and the beds were very comfortable. Easy access to car parking and great security. Beautiful pool area, but the water was not heated so we did not take advantage of the pool (weather was in the low 70s during our stay). Great location if you have a car, very close to downtown Charleston and the beaches. This place will be on the top of my list for my next stay in Charleston.

Very convenient location to access downtown. Very nice, comfy room. Bed was extremely comfortable!!! Definitely would recommend and stay there again in the future!!

Absolutely lovely room. Nicely appointed bathroom. Beds were very comfy! Unexpected food & beverage vouchers were a nice surprise. Ate at the onsite restaurant for two of my three nights and it was delicious!

Hotel is right on Savannah Hwy that leads to downtown Charleston in 20 minutes. There is nothing interesting in the surrounding neighborhood of the hotel. We made sure to come back to our room only to sleep. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and efficient. I think during the remodel they must have put granite on top of existing surfaces because the result is that the desk is too high to sit at the chair and comfortably use your computer. The coffee cabinet is too high to see where the fill line is on the Keurig. The bathroom sink required my standing on tiptoes to brush my teeth. Caveat = I am only 5'1". I used the guest laundry and exercise room and enjoyed both. My husband felt the resistance equipment in the gym needed some maintenance. Room was quite spacious. We stayed there for 3 nights so really appreciated the space. We felt we got good value for the price we paid.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our very large room had a great bed and bedding, a good sized flat TV, and great bathroom with a huge stall shower.Breakfast was very good with good coffee. It was about 6 miles from the center of Charleston,which was just fine. Good value.

Town & Country Inn & Suites is fantastic! Plush bedding, sparkling clean rooms & bathrooms. Everything is like new. There's a refrigerator and individual cup coffee maker in the room. It couldn't have been better. Just a hint: if you book through a service you'll receive one coupon for breakfast; if you book directly through the hotel you'll receive three coupons for breakfast.

This hotel is WONDERFUL! It doesnt look like much from the outside when you pull in. I was kind of skeptical at first, especially with the location. I thought it was going to be in a much different type of area. However, it is EXTREMELY convenient to downtown Charleston and to all the plantations. It is a very easy 10 minute drive downtown. It is in a great neighborhood. Convenient to Piggly Wiggly and other stores/restaurants if need be. The rooms are so nice and extremely clean. The bathrooms are brand new and the bed was VERY comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was a great stay and a great price. There is a breakfast buffet for $7.99 daily that was delicious and fresh. We had it twice while we were there. Would absolutely stay there again. 5-star rating from us.

Enjoyed the 4 nights in Charleston. Room and hotel accommodations were extraordinarily good for motel. Only one issue was that the motel was reluctant to cash American Express Travelers Checks. They were hesitant to cash one, but did so. When I needed a 2nd cashed later the staff refused. They checked with management and nobody seemed to know for sure if they should. So they decided not to. I had to proceed to a local bank to get it cashed. Which was inconvenient. However, I asked to speak to the owner or for his name. They said he was unavailable but gave me his name and phone number. I called and left a voicemail. After we left Charleston for Savanna, GA I received a phone call a couple of days later. He apologized for the confusion and said that they should have cashed the travelers check. He was very concerned that I was not happy with that situation and apologized for the confusion. I couldn't understand why the staff didn't contact him personally on my behalf when I asked for his name and number. I also didn't understand why they didn't call him themselves. Anyway, it was a very good motel and conveniently located for us. We would definitely stay there again.

What an amazingly beautiful hotel! The rooms were newly remodeled. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Even the men painting said, "Good morning!" I would absolutely stay here again.

One of the most upscale hotels we have ever stayed in. Will be back. Breakfast was a bit pricey.

After searching for a nice place for our honeymoon, I chose the Town and Country Inn based on the nice photos on their website, all the amenities, the convenience to everything, the reviews I read and the amazing price. I thought it was very good find and when we visit Charleston again, we will stay there.

The hotel has been remodeled and some of that work is still underway. The rooms are nicely furnished and very comfortable. We did not try the restaurant during this stay. The hotel is also well located at the end of I-526 and Route 17 - Savannah Highway. We needed to go to downtown Charleston and to James Island and it was very easy to get to both destinations from the hotel. We would definitely stay there again on a future visit to Charleston.

Quiet yet convenient hotel area. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Our Jr. Suite room was modern and we would definitely stay there again. The only things that we were unhappy with was that there was no full length mirror in the room (all the mirrors stopped at the waist) which makes it a little difficult while getting dresses, and the only vending machine in the entire hotel was out of order.

When we drove into the front entrance, we were very concerned. There was construction and we thought "OH NO". However, once we were inside, we were very pleased with the hotel overall. Our room was very comfortable and the description of it was very accurate. We all (4 of us) thought that this would be a great place to have a wedding reception, as the pool and conference rooms were perfect for a large group of any kind. Overall, very pleased and would return for sure.

The hotel is finishing a makeover.. The interior is complete and is very nice. It is 5 miles to downtown Charleston. Morning buffet was good, but not outstanding and was not free. Cannot comment on lunch or dinner as we dined at restaurants in Charleston downtown. Overall a very nice and reasonably priced stay for 3 nights.

Everyone else is right, there are scaffolds on the front of the building while the stucco work is being completed, but that shouldn't discourage anyone from staying there. Our room was LOVELY. The bed and the linens were so very comfy. The bathroom is large and luxurious. We had an Air Bath King Suite and it was very comfortable. The halls were clean and bright and the pool area was very nice.

it was a pleasant stay....the Inn just completed renovations. The suite was clean and had all the amenities....I did not take our pillows...and the beautiful ones on the bed were just tooooo!! big for my comfort...Oh well it was great and would recommend it to anyone..........Faye

We really enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were extremely clean and were up to date with all the latest amenities you would expect from a much more expensive hotel. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Charleston!

All is brand new so feels very clean. Room is a bit small. Outdoor pool is freezing cold and the indoor pool is not being used. Very comfortable beds. Room service was reasonably priced and of acceptable quality.

My wife and I stayed in Charleston fot 2 nights and found this to a Great place to stay. There were a couple of issues with the Wifi, it comes and goes when it pleases and there is a fan in the bathroom that does not go off. They said that all rooms have this fan and it so the air stays fresh. Also it is a nonsmoking hotel, whitch is ok with this smoker. But they need to put ashtrays outside so people do not throw butts on the ground. But overall we loved it and would stay again.

Most comfortable stay I have had in years! Beds were fabulous, flat-screen TV wonderful, Keurig in room allowed for individual teas and coffees! Great service, friendly staff, and wonderful Sunday Brunch.

Room was very nice, everything new. Have to be able to look past the outside scafolding. The quality of service from the staff was poor. Waited for someone in restaurant to bring us drinks. No one ever came. After I went to someone to find us a waitress, still no one came. Flagged down another waitress and she brought us drinks. Never received our check either. Front desk was not any better.

Excellent value. Beautiful room. Nice bed and bedding. Friendly staff. Don't be fooled by the fact that the scaffolding is still on the front of the building. The hotel was very nice.

Nice stay for price, hotel is updating all their rooms. My rooms was quite comfortable. Shuttle service to airport was a plus.

Very nice room, very nice bed and linens. Over all, very pleased with this hotel.

Even though the outside of the hotel was still in the process of being redone, we were greatly impressed by our beautiful room and the closeness to downtown Charleston. There is no reason to spend more money to stay close to the action, so to speak, when you can spend way less here and drive about 15 minutes to be in the mix of things.
