Super 8 York - יורק

Room was clean and tidy, bed comfortable. The hotel is old and there is still a distinct smell of smoke when walking through the hallways.

York is fulll these 2 weeks a year. This is not my favorite motel to stay but it was better than the last time we stayed there. It was cleaner. It is nice to have breakfast included. Yogurt and fresh bananas saved a carb filled breakfast. I would stay there again, it is fair for the price.

This hotel I would not recommend unless u are very tired from a long drive or flight and just want to go to sleep, it had a wiered smell to the place and also the elevator stunk as well.. Over all NO BUENO!!!

I got mostly what I was expecting from this hotel room with the exception that the refrigerator did not work. Otherwise I was satisfied.

The pictures on the hotels.com website don't match the condition of this hotel. It was very run down and in desperate need of remodeling. The back entrance where you should need to use your card to get in was not locked or would even latch. So I didn't feel safe as anyone could walk in off the street. There was a musty smell in the room and it needed much attention. I would never consider this hotel again, and I would encourage you to stay away!

yuck. very low-end property. rooms have the old fashioned dirty bedspreads and a pilly old blanket. don't recommend even for budget travelers. there are a couple other economy properties within a 2-block radios that you should look at instead.

Room transfered noise from above to loudly. Herd every footstep like it was a stomp.

Hotel it self was fine for the time sent in it. Front Desk Clerk left a lot to be desired My stay was pre paid on hotels.com he tried to charge be double on what I paid then said my CC had been declined which it had not. Took over 20 mins to get him to understand this.

The attendant at the front desk was extremely helpful in changing my room for me. Very pleasant stay.

Clean, comfortable room. Friendly conversation-initiating and attentive staff behind the desk. Breakfast could have been a bit better, but would stay again regardless.

The hotel is very convenient to many shopping centers and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful and check-in & out only took a few minutes.The room was not fancy but it was comfortable.

Poor service, not clean, no ironing boards, would not recommend.

I was impressed by the cleanliness.

Overall our stay at the York Super 8 was very good and we plan to stay there during the yearly shows. Great place to stay and is within easy driving to the farigrounds.

Very noisey because of the highway. Need to stay on the backside next time.

The room walls were dirty. (People smoke and then when there is moisture it creates dirty drip residue down the walls in places.) The carpet in the hallway also looked dirty. They painted the ceiling but then failed to cut in around the edges so you had a ring of darker, older paint around the edges.

make sure you wear socks when walking in your hotel room because your feet will turn black so disgusting. besides that everything else seem to be clean. bathroom tub was kind of yucky.

There are many little details needing attention in this place, for example, one of the stairwells had soil on one step for the 4 days I used it. Breakfast was a very limited affair. So much so I had to go elsewhere for a decent breakfast. Go elsewhere is my suggestion.

Best customer service, decent hotel for the price and conveniently located. 1 minute to get onto hwy Rt 83. However, this is not as good as other Super 8 hotels I have stayed in past. Carpets need a replacement and also surroundings are not as pleasant as you wish on a vacation. Oh by the way, its 45 minute drive to hershey park, not very close as other reviwers said in their reviews.

Room was as clean as could be expected. Bathroom also as clean as could be expected. Everything vaguely smelled like cigarette smoke, obviously the ventilation systems need updating. No air conditioning in the stairwells. Free "breakfast" had no fruit, only cereal, muffins, and coffee. Positives? It was where they said it would be and we were able to check in at 2 am with no hassle. Check out also no hassle. Don't like that I have to pay sight unseen to get low price - also unable to cancel to get that price.

Was an excellent experience. Room was very clean. Easy on and off to the highway.

I was first disappointed that I had booked a two bedroom room and was given a one bedroom room for me and my daughter. The first room offered stunk like must and body odor. I was told if I wanted two bed I'd have to pay more, while when I booked I was told they were the same price! I requested a new room. This one was better smelling but still one bed. It was clean, but there was trash on the floor under drawers and in corners, still. The toilet flusher broke off second time we flushed. One nice thing was the small coffee machine in the room and the shower was ok. There was lots of noise through the night.

The non-smoking rooms were nice and clean (particularly for the price we were paying). They included a TV, refrigerator, and microwave. The complimentary breakfast was good, although it was all carbs with no fruit, other than "fruit juice". The staff was helpful, however, you needed to communicate patiently and clearly as English was their secondary language. The motel is located at the center of all major highways for tourism. With less than a 45 minute drive, you can get to Harrisburg to NW, Hershey to NE, Lancaster home of the Amish to E, Gettysburg to SW, etc.

Super 8 was in a handy location at the junction of 83 and 30 (but be sure you know which direction the roads are going: N or S, W or E). Simple and scant environment, with no real restaurant close on foot, more if you drive. Simple motel, hallways and stairs show its age. But my room was clean and comfortable. Good internet access (free), and favourable price. Front desk staff helpful. Breakfast simple.

Pleasantly Surprised with our room . The Bed was Extremely Comfortable , did not want to get out of it . The accomadations in the room was very pleasing aswell ( Fridge & Microwave ) . The room was kept very clean , the $ , wuz extremely pleasing . Can ' t wait til do it again .

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't spend much time in the room but we found it to be clean and comfortable. The room contained a microwave, small refrigerator and hairdryer. It is located near many restaurants and shops. It is also very convenient to Interstate 83.

Huge storm just as we were approaching, staff already had key made prior to the power going out. Definitely a ghetto neighborhood so lock your cars. Really good cleaning staff, really impressed.

It was a room for 1 night. Motel could use a little maintenance. Bed was hard. Cheap price.

I got a smoking room, because it was the cheapest, and because in past times I have stayed in a smoking room that didn't smell strongly of smoke. When I checked into my room the room was overbearingly strong smelling of smoke. I went to speak to the desk clerk regarding this issue and all he could do was let me borrow a spray that is supposed to kill all smoking odors. This spray did a great job. They should use it in all the smoking rooms. But basically if you're looking for a cheap nice place to stay this is a good place

If your looking for an inexpensive place to sleep for the nigh- this might be it. The rooms are comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and theres a free continental breakfast (danishes, muffins, coffee....) Not bad for a couple of bucks.

Room smelled of stale smoke.

This was one of the poorest breakfast offerings I have had in a long time at a Super 8. The best I can for it would be that it was something to eat, but nothing much for the health conscious. White bread just doesn't cut it for me!

Felt like I should not get undressed and expose skin to the surfaces in the room. Does not look like anyone has vacuumed around the edges of the room for at least a year- wrote my name in the dirt on the carpet! Hair and dust piled up in the corner in the bathroom. Somebody elses body hair in the tub....ugh.

Heard a strange metal noise at 2 in the morning. Staff was very helpful although I am not really interested in changing rooms because of a noise from the heating while wearing my pyjamas.

They didn't clean my room and they didn't give me new towels, most of the staff was rude. I will not go there again, I guess you get what you pay for
