Rodeway Inn at Route 66 - וויליאמס

For the price, this was no bargin. Room was very small. Was supposed to have 2 queens, but actually had 2 full beds. Room was clean. I had a large, well behaved dog with me who travels with me frequently. No pet restrictions were indicated on the Hotels.com web site, but hotel management was not so happy about the size of my dog even though she was quiet, well trained and did not damage anything. They charged me a higher pet fee, $20/nt, rather than $15 as stated on site because of her size. I would not stay here again.

It was a terrible mold smell in the room. I could bearly sleep because of the smell!

I thought it fit my needs to stay overnight and get to the train to the Grand Canyon. No frills. No fuss. The receptionist was pleasant. There were a lot of instructions because of room modifications so I had to call the desk to re-remind me. But I pulled it together. I think it is a decent place for a quickie overnight stay.

We have stayed here before and the location is great but service is as reported in other reviews, not so great. This is our last stay here as the accommodations were really below par this time. Bed was very uncomfortable, bathroom had leaky toilet that left puddle on floor and staff was rude as usual. Even the juice for breakfast was no good. The staff here just does not get it. Sorry to lose them as I stay in Flagstaff often but will just have to use one of the other places that are just a little further away from downtown. Cab service here is great!

Cleanliness of the hotel room is so poor that I felt it was not cleaned for ages. You didn't feel like touching anything in room. Carpet was so unclean and stinks. I expect min cleanliness and quality in an advanced country like US but, this is an exception. Don't ever dare to stay here if you care for quality and cleanliness.

There was only a heater in our room and it was very cold. Other than freezing the room was very clean.

Door stuck. My husband had to literally ram his body into the door to get it open. Dusty room, bathroom floor dirty. Only one light plugged in. Refrigerator, etc not plugged in. Was told it would only take 30 minutes for frig to get cold, no way. The food we purchased went bad because of no frig working. Heater smelled like someone was smoking. Worse of all, in the morning when I went to get what they called "continental" breakfast, the attendant (which I found out later was the owner) told me I could not take it out of the little side room and pointed at the camera that he explained I was being watched on camera. I was appalled and told him so. My husband was extremely upset, and he too confronted the gentlemen who walked away while my husband was talking to him.

I stayed there for 1 night as I was passing through. The guy at the front desk was very friendly. The room (#117) was basic; it had a mini fridge and microwave. There is complimentary breakfast which included toast, bagel, cereal and juice (decent selection). The main complaint was there were many hairs in the bed sheets and on the pillows. I had never seen so many human hairs in a hotel bed. It grossed me out the more I thought about it. I booked a room with a double bed and the other bed had the same situation going on. Just disgusting. I arrived at 1:00 am and the rest of the rooms were already booked so I wasn't able to change rooms. The hotel price was a good deal but probably not worth the uncomfortableness or grossness of the sheets not being changed.

We were told when we checked in that it was a smoking room, and that was all they had.. It smelled like someone had just left the room smoking.. So fine febreeze helped that out. The bed was big but very firm.. Room was pretty clean . Room had a micro, small fridge and coffee maker, also had a blow dryer. The blankets had hair on them, which would make you wonder if they changed the sheets. The staff was friendly. This is an older hotel, so it wont be perfect. Free wifi and directv included. So it was for 1 night and we survived it.

quiet , easy to get to downtown and eateries motel was not clear on where bkfst room or ice machine was did not find it until leaving. nothing posted to tell where it was

The hotel was very nicely appointed. The only drwwback was that the airconditoner was very loud and now very efficient. Because the room was so small, it was difficult to sleep with the air so very close.

I guess It was OK but it was not worth the price we paid. If your in for the Canyon stay near the canyon. It's an hour drive.

We enjoyed our stay there very close to entertainment and Route 66. The only problem we had was we left the power supply for our computer behind and had difficulty contacting hotel about returning item, in the end we purchased a new one

After an extremely disappointing stay at another chain, we thought we'd try out this one. We were pleasantly surprised. Great rooms! Great Service! Yummy breakfast. Thank you!

Good position, but the room was horrible, especially for the price. We would not stay here again. The room was filthy and stank from stale cigarette smoke. The breakfast room was essentially the size of a phone booth, and inadequate for the number of guests attempting to use it

Williams was a real gem, lively and friendly. the Hotel was small but clean and friendly and the whole Route 66 night was brilliant.

it was ok not fancy but nice.

Needs appearance upgrade, doors need repair. etc.

clean, nice staff, quaint town w/ many restaraunts & tour pkges to S Rim of Grand Canyon. About an easy hr drive into the canyon. It was all I needed.

The heater didn't work and it was freezing and check out is 10 a.m. on the weekend? Yea this room was only good if your dersperate. Shower was not draining properly

Clean convenient motor inn style lodging on Historic Route 66.

Rodeway Inn at 334 E Rte 66 Williams, AZ is bad! There are 2 Rodeway Inns within 2 blocks. We went to the 334 Grand Canyon Ave(Route 66) and it was very bad. Wife found bug in our bed, bathroom was dim, 1 trash can in the room. The front desk and room had an over powering Incense smell. One more thing. Our bed was supported by 4 blocks of wood under our box spring, there were no bed frame to support bed.. . .it sagged! It sucked!

The beds were so soft they folded in the middle with my 7 year old on them. The room was clean, but no toileteries. horrible night sleep

paper thin walls, old t.v., bad reception, heater quit working in the middle of the night. and they charged me $27.00 more than quoted.

Nice small motel, worth the money though u cannot demand too much. The shower hot water is interesting, u should turn it slightly right for large hot water and then all the way to the right for cold water, different from what we have in california. They also cleaned our room the next day during our two days' stay. Will choose it next time to Grand Canyon.

Very good staff. Showed up early and was able to check in. Room was clean. My only draw back was asked for non-smoking room and got a smoking room.

This was one of the worst nights I have ever spent in a hotel!!! When we got to our room, we found a small space heater as the only source of heat for the room. When we inquired to the management about it we were told that the heater would be sufficent. We took our kids to the polar express train ride (the whole purpose for the trip), and returned to the room @ 930 pm, to a super cold room. We turned on the space heater, but it did not touch the cold. We went to the manager to see if they could move us to a different room. They were full, but offered another space heater to help... Unfortunatly having both space heaters on caused the circuit breaker to trip, plunging my family in to darkness. When I returned to the manager to get the power restored, he actually advised me to check out and even though it was against the policy he would refund our money... Knowing that all of the close by hotels were full (we checked ourselves). The manager only conceded to giving us a 25% discount off the room, after asking for any other options... As for the clean factor, we were scared to let our kids walk barefoot, as there was hair all over the bathroom floor, which appeared to be pubic hairs... I would avoid this place to all ends and sleep in your car if that was the only other option.

It is hard to write a review on a one star hotel. It is hard not to be biased and to remember that it has only 1 star to stay objective! The best thing about the place: it was clean and smelled clean! The rest is probably your typical one start hotel: nothing fancy, nothing matching in furniture, old windows, old heaters but they work. It was quiet, but again, this is Williams, so how loud could it get! We stayed there with our 5 children for the Railroad Polar Express, if not, I would have stayed in Flagstaff. We had a large room suite, with two rooms, one shared bathroom and ONE 27inch flat screen TV. The phone had no cord, so don't plan on calling the "reception". The owner forgot we were there and tried to open our door at 7:00 am...with about 10 people staying at his place, I don't quite know how he couldn't remember that room was occupied! The beds were okay, no plush mattress, but ok. I don't want to think of the comforters, but all less than 3 stars hotel still have those nasty crusty things on their beds. The continental breakfast was a joke: we showed up at 9:00 am (it was a Sunday) and there was nothing left, again, there were about 10 rooms occupied! All in all, it's a one star hotel that earned it and doesn't deserve anymore. It is clean and that is the only thing that worried me. It is way over price: much cheaper thru Hotels.com, but the owner was trying to charge us $way more, so have your comfirmation with you! But this is during the Christmas season, with visitors coming in for the Polar Express and you have no choice if you have a large family and are trying to stay in a budget. If it hadn't been snowing, I would have rather been on the road back to Phoenix than stay there.

Very good service responded well to needs rooms are big and comfy located in centre of Williams easy access to ever thing in town.

Upon arrival, I was not given the room or the rate given by Hotels.com. Of course, the hotel offered a more expensive room because that was all they had upon my arrial.

We were looking for a basic hotel, not too fancy but convenient and clean. The Roadway in meet our needs and expectations. The breakfast buffet was sparse but adequate for our purposes. We would stay there again.

On the positive side: - Clean - Friendly staff - Walking distance to city center And on the negative: -The bed felt like a trampoline - Breakfast is just juice, coffee and cereals
