The hotel is dirty. There was mold in the bathroom. The bed quilt was dirty. The dust ruffle was ripped. There was no remote control for the TV. In short, pay a few bucks more and stay someplace else.

Hard to find. Internet didn't work. Staff was unfriendly. Continental breakfast costs $5/guest. Paid for a jacuzzi that didn't exist. Which is actually fortunate because the kicker was NO HOT WATER. Seriously. And the staff seemed surprised when I was upset? Never again. The Econo Lodge would've been much better.

it was nicety relax away from home. Never felt more at home the customer service was great.

THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME STAYING HERE. FIRST VISIT WAS SATISFACTORY AND THIS TIME SEEMED A BIT BETTER. THE ROOM WE HAD THIS TIME HAD BETTER MATTRESSES, PILLOWTOP, WITH FRESH CLEAN LINENS. AND, OF COURSE, THEY DO NOT PROVIDE WASHCLOTHS EVER. BATHROOM IS CLEAN AND VERY NICE, FURNITURE IN ROOM IS NICE. IT IS A DECENT, CLEAN, SAFE PLACE TO STAY. THE HOTEL IN GENERAL IS VERY NICE, COULD USE A BIT SPRUCING UP HERE AND THERE. OVERALL FOR WHAT YOU ARE PAYING, IT IS A GOOD PLACE TO STAY, A BARGAIN AND I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO STAY HERE AGAIN.

Hotel facility in general is good. Clean, no odors, nice lobby & elevators, friendly staff, nice bathroom, spacious, felt safe. Mattresses in this room were not comfortable. Outside of hotel not that attractive, but inside was good. There are no washcloths supplied. For the price, it is a decent respectable hotel and would recommend. There are far worse places around that charge much more.

My friend and I stayed here the night before we got an early start on our getaway to Manhattan. From there it took just over an hour in rush hour to the Upper East Side where we'd rented an apartment for the weekend. We did not expect much for the price, but were pleasantly surprised with comfortable beds, a clean room, good climate control, better than average decor, and most importantly, peace and quiet. We arrived at the hotel within 5 minutes of leaving I-95, but the remote location away from other commerce made it ideal for a good night's sleep. Others complained in reviews there was nothing within walking distance, but that's what made it ideal for us! We did not plan to eat there as we brought along breakfast, so we can speak to the food quality or value. The bottom line is that we did not expect much from the reviews or the price, but I rate this very highly as a comfortable and quiet option for passing through. I have traveled a lot for business and pleasure and have seen the full gamut of hotel options. This is definitely a winner for what it portrays itself as.

We were a last minute day trip that turned out to be longer than expected. When we arrived at the hotel, the hotel desk clerk took care of us promptly. Our assigned room turned out to be unclean and they we kind enough to not only give us a different room but also and upgraded room. The only true problem we had was the loudness of the hot tub and it wouldn't stay running for the length the timer was set for.

not satisfied at all. the jet stream was not working at all, the light over the hot tub was not working, and the shower head was broken. the maintenance workers where gone for the day. could not switch to the same time of room i had but i could have been downgraded to another room if i wanted to switch room and not be compensated in any way.

great hotel for price.

The outside look better then the inside. The only thing nice about the rooms, was the Jacuzzi. which was no use to me. The tv's was old model, with two cable channels. Was not comfortable staying in this hotel. Need more upgrade for it to be a hotel. I slept in motels, that was more equipped. Do not waste your money.

room did not smell very fresh, carpet was not vacuumed, It was close to the NJ Convention Center, front desk employees were efficient. I saw conflicting info regarding "free breakfast" on the website. there was a five dollar charge for it and it was only cereal and toast.

The outside of the hotel was fine but the surrounding property was extremely industrial and unappealing. The day staff was not very helpful. The room was ok size wise and the bathroom clean, but no washclothes and not happy about giving me additional towels when requested. Didn't clean my room the first day bc the maid staff was gone by 4. The rugs were not vacuumed in my room, hallway or fitness center. Furnishings were very outdated and most of the TV stations weren't available. The price was reasonable but get more value at a Red Roof or Comfort Inn. Wouldn't stay here again. A little nervous for my safety

We needed a place for one night close to Edison. The Hotel is "different" already form the outside. Build probably in the 70s and looks like an Arab palace in need of maintenance. The room was big, but could use some upgrading. The internet did not work neither by wifi nor by the line. You could get into the hotel's network (with wifi on and off connected) but not into the internet. They promised to have the router reset, but that did not help. We did not try the breakfast. You can stay at this pl;ace, but it won't be a "wow" experience.

The room itself was clean--except that the toilet paper holder was grungy. But the room was ok. The bed? Hard as concrete. I'd read about that so brought sleeping pill. They have wake-up call which worked. There IS a smell in the hallway, but I realized that it comes from the kitchen, so that makes sense. They have in-room coffee service; just clean the pot. For a cheap overnight stay, it's ok. Just remember about the hard mattress. Oh, the agent at the desk: Not welcoming at all, but she does her job.

Hotel was old and undated -- repainting, brightened, etc. Carpets were dirty, old and loose in places on the 2nd floor and needed to be replaced in room and hallway. I got a non-smoking room; I can only imagine what a smoking room would look and smell like. I even had to go to the front desk to ask for a "Do Not Disturb" door hanger and plastic bag that you would normally find on a hanger in the wardrobe to put my dirty clothes in. My room had a Jacuzzi (which I had not used) which a couple of marble tiles had been removed or fallen off the base structure and not repaired. There was no HD TV as my room as described in my reservation confirmation, as an out of date tube tv probably at least 6-8 yrs old sat in the TV cabinet instead (they had no flatscreen). Room lighting also was not very good quality and cheap fixtures in nature in very high ceilings, and I needed to turn on both room lights (felt like I was in a cheap 60's hotel room) to make the room bright enough. Coffee maker was very inexpensive, small and on the cheap side and was not cleaned out when I arrived, so I cleaned it myself, but it basically it held two cups of water. Breakfast was also not included like alot of local hotels, and it cost $5 but essentially it was cheaply setup. No eggs of any kind or bacon or sausages or fruit (even to get a cup of coffee or two, you would still have to pay the fee, so I ended up going to the Starbucks next door to the Sheridan Hotel 1.5 miles away.

The staff members were a bit rude. When we complained about the internet not working in the room, the staff member (i think he was the owner) was rude. he said that wifi is working on his computer and if its not working on our computers then its our problem. I am an IT engg, I tried to explain him that issue is with router not sending signals not computer, but he was too reluctant to even listen. So eventually we had to leave the hotel within 5-6 hours (even though our booking was for 3 days), and then as expected they didn't return the money too. We had to move to another hotel near by with working wifi.

It was not what I expected, no remote for TV, room wasn't that clean didn't give me any wash cloths and the towel were dirty. I did complain. Wouldn't want to stay there again.

Dirty: no one vacuums, I thenk they just sweep the rug. Look under the desk on on the side of the bed, Filth. It's rare they will have your room ready @check-In $5.00 For a broken-down Breakfast!!! Rates change every day (playing games)

Had to pay extra for microwave and fridge. Paid ahead of time and it wasn't in room til second day. had to keep asking. There were no smoking rooms and wasn't told ahead of time.. Had to pay for coffee, no continental breakfast unless you paid. Everything was extra.

I arrived late, but they was still able to have dinner which was pricey, but very good!

For the price you pay for this hotel it was excellent. I can't complain about anything Jacuzzi was great. But if you stay here make sure you rent a car. Nearest town is a mile away. It is a peaceful place no noise at all from the outside. From the outside it looks exactly like a castle. They have a fitness center. Breakfast I didn't try slept late. I would stay here again if I had a car. They have no transportation to get you to and from places.

no internet. front desk kept saying it was getting fixed. ,looking at other reviews and seeing that this is a ongoing situation. just say u dont have internet. however the price was excellent...btw who is that big statue n center court of?

Payed $82 for a room that had 2 queens and no jukuzire and no king size bed like reserved

We had the Standard King Jacuzzi room, It was very nice Love the vaulted ceiling and the hot tub is very roomy! Heat worked great actually had to turn it off it worked so well! The Hotel does have some age but to me it just gives it character!!! The price was awesome....I was more disappointed by the negative feedback from other than the Hotel itself, will definitely stay again.

This was by far the worst hotel we've ever stayed at. The service is terrible, the "continental" breakfast for $5 was a rip off with no fruits, eggs, pancakes/waffles and the receptionist in the breakfast lounge has a terrible attitude. I reserved a microwave and a fridge during my booking and upon countless times asking them, the hotel said they don't have them for personal use. They also have a stupid policy where one guest is only allowed 2 towels and no more. The jacuzzi's in the room don't work past 15 mins even if the timer is set at 30, table lamps are broken, AC's make noises all night and above all the toilets stopped flushing for one whole night! Bottom line, the customer service is terrible and the hotel's condition is even worse. There's no point in having a luxurious banquet next door when you have a broken down, better off closed hotel next to it.

Wifi was horrible. Hallways to rooms were littered. No refrigerator or microwave in room. Sheets had holes in them. Took forever to heat up the room. Housekeeping knocked on the door numerous times more than an hour before checkout!! For the price...Not the best stay I've had...

This hotel, built in the 20's, has 15 ft. ceilings. If I could have slept near the ceiling, with the temp 10-20,s, I would have been fine. That's where the heat was. The 2nd night there was no water on the floor. I was not offered another room and was told the water would be repaired by 9PM. No water the next morning! The person at the front desk, informed me they could not talk because they were leaving, and a technician would be their to do the repairs by 9AM. I'll just stop here, because I left without a shower.

Cold as heck!!!

average room but wall paper coming off wall in bathroom. TV in hotel did not have local channels/cable. Unable to get even regular programming
