Lighthouse Court Hotel - קי ווסט

The Lighthouse Inn is in a nice, fairly convenient location because it's only a block from Duval Street. It's positioning on Whitehead Street is also good because it's not too far from the Truman White House, Mel Fisher Maritime Museum and Mallory Square. The lack of parking was a drawback, but we were lucky enough to find parking right on the corner next to the property. The room was nicely appointed but at times the toilet wouldn't flush properly. Also, the bahamian doors on the bathroom made for a lack of privacy -- but it would be fine for a husband and wife or a couple. The shower head was way too high for anyone under 5'4". The property is also limited in the number of rooms that have double beds. But the staff was very pleasant and I loved the lush landscaping and overall setting. At least 7 different varieties of palms! The Lighthouse Inn is a lovely place for a vacation get-away.

Our stay was very nice. I wish there would have been more storage space and a coffee pot. Thew room was comfortable, clean, and quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lighthouse. The staff went over the top to accommodate us and switched our room when we requested it due to some noise in the early morning. Both rooms were fantastic and well kept. I will come back!!

Great front desk staff. very good location, walking distance to everything. Needs improvements. I understand its a Key West property but it could use updating. Otherwise very satisfied!!!

Had a great visit, the bathroom needs a vanity but the stay was great.

We had a great time, excellent location and great redcurrants nearby. Service was good and everything was clean. It is a historical location and consequently the standard rooms are small and not as plush as a newer place could be. I was a little disappointed by the quality of the mattress, it wasn't really bad, but it could have been better. Be sure and eat at Blue Heaven while you are there.

The room was quite small and sparsely finished. Cleanliness/upkeep left much to be desired. The double bed had a mattress/pillows that had seen better days and the bed skirt had questionable stains on it. The bedside table and lamp wore a film of dust/dirt, there were holes in the drywall where TV was mounted. 2 lighting sconces were there but only one worked. The room door was made of glass and a curtain was hung inside for privacy -- it was also dirty. The staff wasn’t particularly helpful. Parking is inadequate (20 rooms, 9 spots) When we asked if a spot on the street in front of the hotel was "legal" the staff didn’t know and declined to answer. Sorry, but you work there and should know the answer to that question. We were told at check in that complimentary continental breakfast would be available at a certain time -- the next day when we showed up to get a cup of coffee (no coffee pot in the room) and we were told it would be at a different (very limited) time. We asked for an ice bucket to chill a bottle of wine -- the staff didn't know if one could be found so we were left to improvise on our own. While the location was convenient to local attractions, the price paid -and the value received- were vastly different. We expected a clean, comfortable room that would be conducive to a relaxing weekend. What we got instead was cramped, dirty accommodations and staff that seemed not to care. Most budget chain hotels are better than this. Two emphatic thumbs down!!

very expensive for a small ordinary room with a noisy window air conditioner

We stayed at the Lighthouse Court for 4 days. The location couldn't be better, easy walking distance to everything. Our room was a King, good sized and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was adequate, cereal, toast, pastries, juice and coffee. I thought the coffee was very good, better than most "hotel coffee". We had two minuses, the windows in the rooms didn't open at all. We left the heat/ac on all the time which was OK for white noise so we weren't wakened by the roosters, but it would have been nice to get some fresh air without leaving the door open. We were on the upper level with a big shared deck outside our room. The deck is is serious need of renovation, it's cracked and splintered. Not in keeping with the good condition of the rest of the hotel.

This hotel is located right next to the lighthouse, Hemingway's house, and the action on Duvall Str and we could still walk to Mallory Square and the southernmost point. Nice room, a little spartan, with a nice but small pool. Hard to check in at 3pm and the continental breakfast was lacking. But, one of the more affordable and convenient locations. I'd return!

Major detraction is no parking and no help from the employees in recommending a paid parking lot which I had to find on my own.

Hotel was great. Righ across from Hemmingway house. One block from Duval. Not much parking available. Hotel and grounds very well kept. Would return and recommend.

The service at the front desk was great, Jeremiah was sweet and very helpful. The room was clean, but a bit tight and very dark in room 2B. The bathroom is extremely small and we had no hot water in the shower. The second floor deck has a nice view of the lighthouse and the pool below, but the deck is badly in need of repair as there were nails popped up all over the deck and people could seriously hurt themselves. Very few places offer free parking, so that was a plus but it is very limited and you have to leave the key at the front desk in order for them to move the cars if needed.

THE MOST EXPENSIVE AND THE WORST HOTEL OF THE SIX WE VISITED DURING OUR STAY IN FLORIDA.THE ROOM WERE VERY SMALL AND THE PRICE DID NOT REFLECT THE QUALITY OF THE HOTEL.

We had a large private deck off our room that was very nice. We shared it w/another room but only saw them once. The building definitely needed painting but was clean and comfortable. The pool was small and shaded but nice for a quick dip. The breakfast "buffet" was nothing special: boxed cereal, apples, juice, coffee, bagels. Location was great! Nice neighborhood, walking distnce to sights but just far enough away to be quiet at night.

This hotel had that lazy decadent feel that really helps my husband and I relax. I came back looking and feeling 10 years younger. My husband mostly lounged by the pool. I was a little more active. We really enjoyed the Hemingway House across the street. The only warning I'll give people is that there are a lot of roosters wandering around and crowing at all hours of the day and night. The hotel did provide earplugs for any guests for whom this was a problem.

We were looking for a hotel that was central, and had some of the casual charm and character of the old town. This was perfect. We loved the cockerels running around in the yard at breakfast! The rooms were small and basic, but this did not worry us as we were not there to sit in a room. We were within walking distance of most things that Key West has to offer from Duval Street to the Historic Dockyard and Mallory Square.

This hotel was perfect for our visit. Decent rooms but a bit small. Location was perfect, very close to everything..Great service and friendly staff. Decent area to lay by the pool. It was a bit noisy because of the roosters, but there's not much you can do about that.

pretty much what i expected - a compact convenient hotel in a great location - everything is walking or a short bike ride away, the place is not fancy so if your expecting luxury dont stay here - if you want clean comfortable convenient location stay here - on site pool, bar and breakfast in the am were good

Location was great. Rooms and grounds really need to be updated and deep cleaned.

the Hotel was nice basic place to stay pretty close to Duval St but far enough away to avoid the noise. The room was clean and basic. The bathroom was clean but lacked any vanity, medicine cabinet or shelving. They need to add someplace to put your bath stuff.

I knew the hotel was close to tourist areas such as Duval street. But I didn't realize HOW close it was! We left it a little late to get to the perfect sunset view however we walked as fast as possible and managed to make our way to a nice little spot just in time away from all of the crowds too! As we drove through Key West to the hotel we noticed a restaurant named Duffys which was a surf and turf restaurant one block away from Duval St which was pleasant and a nice price at 36 for filet and lobster tail! Tasty too! Also, oppositeis Better Than Se x, a dessert restaurant, yum!

Hotel may be a bit old; however, it's clean, great service, and outstanding location.

Room/bathroom can use some updating, but overall a pleasant experience and the location was great. Within walking distance of all attractions

Great little hotel with a warm feel. Friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the location and could easily walk to everything. Water pressure was a bit low for the shower- but that's probably true for the entire island.

The hotel is great and the staff is very welcoming. The room was clean, but our shower door would not close completely and water went flying everywhere when we showered. Other than that I would definitely stay here again. Right across from the Hemmingway house and right by duval but just far enough that you can relax without the crowds. I loved it

Didn't like the experience at all. Sink pipes were loose, toilet handle wouldn't latch, bed was real firm, some boards on patio were not all nailed down, TV was so small you needed binoculars to watch it, receptacle on wall loose, each time you enter front door you must open and shut curtin and door knobs worn out.

Everything was nice. Because of the lack of furniture shelving in bathroom, it would be nice to have some hooks on wall and other kind of shelving for toiletries in bathroom specifically. It was much quieter than what I thought It would be. The comp breakfast was a real plus too.

Great... rooms all are different.. ask for king with double goors.. a little bigger..and maybe bigger T V

Hotel was nice but the parking situation rather spoiled the stay.We drove around the neighborhood for over half an hour looking for a space and eventually found an open site to park which cost$20and had to be vacated by9.00the following morning

This hotel is located right across the street from the Hemingway house and a block away from Duval street. Close to everything but far enough away that noise is not an issue. The rooms are a little unusual, no TV viewable from the bed but we were not there to watch TV. The Hotel was nice and we were given a 2 for 1 drink coupon for the pool bar. I have been to Key West several times prior to this but from this point on I will always stay at the Lighthouse inn.

Across the street from the Hemmingway House, close enough to walk to everything w/o having it right in your face. Hotel was good, rooms were on the small side, but the a/c worked and the continental breakfast was better than most. Only problem was that bc it is an older building noises tend to reverberate- people closing the door above us and our room would shake a bit. Not a problem once, but a pain when it is multiple times at 4 am. Overall great stay, would reccomend!

The hotel is right across the street where Hemmingway used to live, so in the middle of Key West, close enough to all the restaurants but far enough to be a bit more quit. The room was nice and clean, with a mini fridge and a more or less separate bedroom.

Each unit is one of many units in a quaint compound. Quintessential Key West – tall white fence, wood structure, lush greenery. Historic. There is a central outdoor area for guests with a very small pool, a small and very expensive bar, and shaded tables. The breakfast was free and very good – many place don't offer this, even the expensive resorts. Location is good because it is walking distance to Old Town and on the right side of the island. Many free parking spots in street. Directly across the street from Hemingway's House, which is cool. Service is poor. There was a guy at the desk who refused to help me with a simple request. It's not their strong suit. Don't expect 5-star service here. Bartender was a genuinely nice guy, who happened to be from Europe. But then again, he's selling $10 drinks. Some of the rooms have awesome back yards with patio furniture and even corn hole games. They may have a front porch and face the main street (though there's a high fence surrounding the compound over which you cannot see). While other rooms have no extras and are located next to a parking lot where the trash is kept. So I would suggest being specific in requests to obtain the best location possible. Bathroom had a nice shower, was clean, but bring your own toiletries because theirs are insignificant (once again, reflection on service). They provided free earplugs that we did not need in mid Sept. A very good flavor of typical Key West, Florida.

Great little hotel...very clean, great friendly staff. Directly across street from Hemingway's House! My room could have had another bigger mirror in front room and a picture on the wall. It was a little sparse, but that's minimal. Great central location! Highly recommend!!!

that was a second time then we stay at that hotel , next time on key west we stay there again :)

Nice small hotel with great people and walking distance from the heart of Key West. Highly recomended.

I have stayed at many places in KW. This was my first time at Lighthouse. It was very good. I would definitely return here. Staff is pleasent and helpful. The property is quaint, and has that distinct KW feel. The daily comp breakfast is pretty good. Pool is pretty big by KW standards. Location is good. Overall very happy. Excellent hotel for the money.

No microwwave or small refridgerator/cooler was provided, parking was inadequte but location was ok. I would not return there.
