The Orchards Inn of Sedona - סדונה

Basically a motel, but with clean rooms, great service, awesome views, and great location in uptown Sedona. We would definitely stay here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is situated behind the main street of Sedona, which makes shopping and dining venues easily accessible. Additionally several great hiking trails are only a short drive away. The hotel room itself was very spacious!! We stayed in a room with a king bed that also had a love seat and a nice gas fireplace. The big perk was the outdoor patio overlooking the scenic landscape of Sedona. Additionally the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the surrounding area.

Lovely, lovely, lovely - CANNOT express enough how awesome this place is to stay. Rooms are nicely appointed, views of the red rocks are breathtaking, having a Cantina on the property is wonderful - I wish we could've stayed for a week instead of just one night. Neither I nor my friend wanted to leave. Situated in the center of Sedona, there were so many things to see and do, fun shops to visit, nice walking paths. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely place, great view, good shops and restaurants and beautiful nature.

Great place w/ a great location and views. The staff is very nice, friendly, and helpful. We were able to check-in early so we could unload the car and start enjoying all that Sedona has to offer. We were sorry we only gave ourselves one night here.

The view was as good as it gets! The staff were extraordinary! The air conditioning was a bit loud and the bathroom a bit tired. Would stay again in a heartbeat!!

Had a great time. Room was great and the view was awesome. Just steps to restaurants and shops. Pool could have been cleaner.

This is our second time staying at The Orchards and it was great both times. The staff is VERY accomodating and quick to respond to any request (like clean glasses or taking out some oversize garbage). The location is excellent and the views are absolutely beautiful. The only thing that wasn't up to par was the patio by the pool. They have a beautiful stone fireplace and big wooden chairs, but the area looked dirty and neglected. It would have been nice to have a fire on those chilly April evenings! Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel to anyone - great location, great staff and fantastic views!

We had a wonderful stay at the Orchards. The view was wonderful and all that we had expected. Parking was easy and the hotel staff very helpful. The only down side was breakfast choices that you could walk to if you did not want to do the breakfast buffet at the Canyon Breeze.

We stayed at the orchards for 6 nights. Excellent location and staff. The rooms were nice and clean with great views.

Let's start with the positive: The "Inn" is centrally located in Upper Sedona, the staff is friendly & helpful, and the views from the rooms are spectacular. However, the Orchards Inn is NOT an Inn. It's not a hotel. It's not a resort. It's a motel. From the dated armoire/closet behind the door in the bathroom, to the low ceiling in the shower, to the popcorn ceiling and walls, this room is essentially a Motel 6 with slightly better furnishings. There is no safe in the room. The telephone wires are sloppily run along the borders of the carpets and pop up along the floor boards. The rooms are charm free. The one issue we ran into was with Housekeeping. We left our room at 9:30 AM and came back after a long morning and afternoon of hiking at 3:30 PM. We desperately wanted to take a rest, but the room had not been serviced by housecleaning. In fact, it seemed that she was working her way down the hall and still two rooms away from us. We ended up going out for another two hours to "kill time" in town while we waited for our room to be cleaned. Honestly, if this "Inn" was located anywhere other than on the main drag in Upper Sedona with a perched-over-the-cliff view of the red rocks, It would be an $89 - $99 per night kind of motel. If I had known what kind of establishment this was before I went, I would have been fine with it. However, calling it an "Inn" when it is nothing more than a souped-up motel just sets up for disappointment. So beware: THIS IS A MOTEL!

Comfortable, clean rooms. Pool was weak so plan on hiking and shopping.

Parking was perfect. Walking distance super. Views are super. Reasonable coffee shop rates at the Wild Flower Bread Company Restaurant next to the Chamber of Commerce. Super place.

Good base for visiting the surrounding area once we managed to find it! It's quite a large hotel tucked away behind shops. Brilliant views of the mountains from our terrace, especially at sunset. Nice comfortable room, clean and modern, a good size. Very comfortable bed. Not as good value for money as some of the other 3-4 star places we've stayed in Arizona & California this trip but worth it for the views and it is close to various eateries. Around Sedona is a beautiful area to explore - we could have done with another day or two there. I would stay again at this hotel.

The room was spacious and clean with a wonderful view to the Red Rocks. It was nice to have a fireplace in the room as there was a snow storm that lasted the whole day and we were very cozy and warm. The location of the hotel is conveniant to Uptown Sedona.

The hotel was a very nice hotel, but the room was sweltering hot. The temp in the room was 80 degrees and we had to finally leave the door open for about 4 hrs to be able to sleep during the night. Not very safe! I would not stay here again.

Loved it. The Orchards Inn is very convenient to everything in Sedona. Gorgeous views.

We booked this online via Hotels.com based on reviews. The hotel was excellent for our stay. We spent 2 nights in sedona and very glad we chose this hotel Excellent location, rooms were comfortable, clean and updated and the view was gorgeous. The front desk person was a wonderful welcome upon our arrival. The weather was not so great but the location made it very easy to dine, shop and meet new friends. We would highly recommend.

We were lucky to get a room at the last minute and were very happy about the location, the view, and the pool. The only thing that bothered me was the noise level from the registration office. The walls were very thin an I could hear conversations late at night very well through the walls.

We drove around for 40 minutes looking for this hotel! It is tucked back behind buildings and the sign is on the ground and not easy to find! We arrived after dark and that made it even harder. The room was beautiful and the view out of our window the next morning more than made up for the difficulty the night before!

We could not have been happier with out stay in Sedona. The hotel, THE VIEWS, the pool and hot tub, location...just everything was great.

Beautiful views over the red rocks. Spectacular at sunset. Perfect for walking round Sedona and all its gift shops. Lovely warm pool. Wish we could have stayed longer as there was a lot more we could have done in the area.

Nothing fancy but good location nice view make this hotel a good value for the money.

The hotel itself is pretty non descript, but with an amazing view of the red rocks of Sedona. It is a truly beautiful place. I upgraded our room to a King Suite and when we walked in ,you could see straight out onto the balcony to the red rocks...breath-taking! The room was large with a cute adobe fireplace, kitchenette & nice bathroom with an additional dressing area sink outside the bathroom. That was the good...now the bad! When we arrived we had to park in an area that was not a parking spot, just to check in. Once checked in we were happy to learn there was additional parking, but when we drove around to it, there were no parking spaces available, so we had to park in a spot that was supposed to provide access to the dumpster. It was Labor Day Weekend, but this hotel has inadequate parking on any weekend! Sedona is packed with people. Once we were in our room for the night, we found the room had no soundproofing! We could hear every little thing all night! Worst night sleep I have had in a hotel in years! Thank goodness we only had 1 night here!

I brought my girlfriend here for a birthday weekend, but ended up surprising her with an engagement ring, This room was perfect for that. Beautiful patio and outside patio. Room very clean and comfortable. I would definately stay here again. You dont have to drive anywhere because everything is right in front of the hotel within walking distance.

Perfectly situated to shopping and dining right in the heart of Sedona! The view of the mountains is spectacular and the breakfast buffet the next morning was outstanding. Maybe just a bit pricy.

Beautiful view, but not as isolated as photos show. Breakfast down the street provided was excellent.
