Alaska Garden Gate B&B and Cottages - פלמר

We stayed in multiple venues while in AK for 11 days and this place, by far, had the nicest customer service and hospitality. Breakfast in the fridge, ready to go, made the morning quiet and not rushed. When we come back to AK and find ourselves near Palmer, we will definitely come back to the Alaskan Garden Gate B & B. This was a great stay. The Alaska Garden Gate B&B is a great place to stay and when the weather wasnt great in Anchorage they provided me with great other solutions that worked out perfectly (to get out of the valley / go to a glacier and more). It was a very nice room and great for the price.

It's a gorgeous location in Palmer. But pay a little more for the stand alone cottages. The lowest price room is in the owner's home. It's okay, but the stand alone cottages are better. Still, overall recommened

It was great. We booked this stay for a consultant that came up from Seattle. He loved the whole experience. Beautiful view , quiet and very accomidating.

Pros: great hostess, great view, clean, quiet, omelet breakfast Cons: beds too soft , wanted queen sofa pull-out for son and daughter-in-lawbut other pull-outs provided. (Satisfactory) All-in-all. A great stay. Highly recommend

Karen was our hostess for our 1st B & B experience and everything about it was wonderful. We were in an apartment type setting with all the perks for preparing our own food etc. It was quiet, very clean, private and friendly.My 13 yr. old grandson and I would recommend it to our family and friends.

A cute little cabin outside of Palmer Alaska. Unfortunetly I thought it was closer to the airport.

The breakfast didn't match what the website indicated. For the price we expected a larger "gourmet" breakfast. Not an omlette you heat in the microwave, and certainly not Folgers coffee.

Listed under Anchorage but actually 45 minutes away. Listed as having 2 queen beds but actually has one and the other is a pull out from the sofa bed. Listed as having a hot breakfast included when actually our breakfast was in the fridge and we had to microwave it.

There were numerous cute little yellow cabins on the premises but we were housed in a converted mobile home. The unit was split into 2 units, one on each end (ours being the tongue end of the trailer). The front of the unit had been sided and painted but the back was "trailer house". The unit was clean. Workmanship appeared to have been done by a weekend carpenter with minimal skills and savaged material some of which fit the space - some did not. The brochure indicated a beautiful breakfast served in a "common" room with our guests but our breakfast was in a basket placed in our refrigerator each morning having been put there the previous afternoon. The food was ok but nothing like what was pictured. If I remember correctly there was mention of a lake on the property. We didn't find one! Directions to the B & B were sketchy at best. I mentioned this to Karen and she was amazed stating that no one else had ever brought that to her attention. There is a small grey line off the highway to the property. With our "aging" eyes neither my husband nor I spotted the line until it was pointed out. A disappointment

The property is delightful! The cabins are decorated beautifully and every amenity has been thought of to make your stay a pleasure. Karen is a gracious hostess and does everything she can to make your stay pleasant. The views from the units is outstanding. We want to go back and stay longer next time.

A wonderful place to stay for one night or several weeks!

Beautiful well-kept cabins, wonderful breakfast with fellow travelers and an outstanding view of the mountains with a glacier out our front window.

Karen is a very gracious hostess. Not much choice of breakfast, it is kind of take it or leave it. We did not get the room we paid for, but were put in a room [Birch] which was part of a converted trailer home. The conversion was very poor and lack a lot in appearance. We suspect that the brand new cottages may be much nicer accomodation should have been in the main house.

Since we had to switch planned reservation at a B&B because of complications at our prebooked B&B, this hotel was very accomodating. The service was excellent and it is a beautiful hotel and in the heart of the city. Good cocktails and the breakfast was great!

nice room, hard to find, limited breakfast

Great view of glacier! Great breakfast. Very nice room! I would stay there again!

This was the first time my wife and I stayed at a B & B and if this id what it is like we'll be staying many more times. The place was beautiful super clean and the hospitality was one step shor of "coming home". I would recommend this place to everyone. Thanks Karen

Übernachtung war gut. Alles Sauber, aber keine Vermieterin angetroffen. Morgenessen im Kühlschrank zum Verzehr bereit. Weiter empfehlen.Kleiner Nachteil: das Haus liegt weit ausserhalb der Stadt.

Prijs-Kwaliteit was matig.De beloofde 2 queenbeds bestaan helemaal niet in deze B&B!

charmant ,aere,peut etre un tantinet trop pres de la route.....mais propre,mignon,sympa/bon petit dej/nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu voir la masquotte du coin (une femelle elan qui vient brouter devant la maison),mais bon ce sera pour une autre fois...

Zentral zu Strassenverbindungen gelegen, aber abseits vom Ort. Sehr gepflegte Gartenanlage. Karen bot einen freundlichen Empfang und das Frühstück am Folgemorgen war frisch zubereitet und schmeckte sehr gut. Wir waren in einem Cottage und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Eine Strasse war in der Nähe aber u.E. nicht störend. Direkt an ein Waldstück angerenzend, mit der Chance früh morgens oder am Abend einen Elch im Garten zu sichten, vor allem wenn Äpfel reif sind (war bei uns leider noch nicht der Fall!) Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort wohnen.

Il piccolo bed and breakfast è molto carino e pulitissimo. La colazione però è stranamente assai scarsa e con quantitativi limitati. Non si può entrare con le scarpe ma bisogna indossare pantofole fornite dalla padrona di casa (il cui cane però è autorizzato ad andare e venire come e dove vuole )
