Everything was adequate...no complaints. Nice to have the gas station and restaurant so close by the room.

Stayed here prior to the Wildflower race. Great place, surprisingly updated. Very clean.

The hotel managers were very friendly and helpful in providing information regarding nearby Pinnacles National Park. The pool was not clean, and had no lighting at night. The room itself was quite comfortable and clean.

FACTS ABOUT THE BATHROOM: The bathroom needs maintenance. the toilet seat was discolored, and missing a hold-down cap. the floor tile showed the absents of tile due to a remodel of different appliances put in. the bath-tub faucets had broken mirror back splash.The bath-tub drain was rusty. The bath floor was cleaned with minor hair left around. The bath had all the right accessories, but the built-in Kleenex box in the wall was rusty..

The hotel clerk was sarcastic and rude. When I asked for two pillows he seemed very put out and then said he had to get them from laundry. As I was coming in from the car in the rain carrying bags, he saw the door was slightly opened and just threw the pillows in the room with one of them landing on the floor. I have never seen anything that rude before at a motel or hotel.

The people at Keefer's Inn are just great! I had a very warm welcome and although I made a mistake with my booking and did not book what I wanted, they found a solution for me that exceeded my expectations. The room was big, nice, very clean and comfortable. I would never have expected such a place in this area! I slept very well and injoyed my stay. Spending about 70 nights a year in hotels, I can compare the offer and was really pleased with the experience at Keefer's Inn. In my eyes, this is a hidden juwel!

The room was a good value and clean. The bathroom was just a bit small though. We might stay there again.

I will admit that I can be somewhat of a hotel snob. However, this place was perfectly fine for our one-night stopover on the way to Monterey. I found the room to be comfortable and clean. The towels are small, the water pressure was low, and the advertised pool was totally out-of-order, but I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay. It is right off the 101 and close to a grocery store, gas stations, etc. The staff was competent, but not exactly warm and friendly. Still, I believe you will not find a better place to stay in this town.

The motel manager was very accomidating and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing a comfortable nights stay in King City

No problems, nice restraunt next to it

don't let the exterior fool you, the rooms in the hotel are beautiful for the price. Apparently it has had a complete make-over so everything was clean, fresh and comfortable. The owners/hosts are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

This place recently went through a remodel, but they didn't go far enough. My room was clean but had an icky bedspread/comforter on it that I put in the closet because I wasn't sure when it had last been washed. The internet connection was iffy. Big plus...a nice dorm-sized fridge and microwave in the room. Also a very nice wide screen TV with all the good cable channels. Also coffee machine, coffee supplies, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and a nice chair to read in, so the rooms are well-appointed. The staff was helpful and friendly, but the lobby needs to be spiffed up..evidently the owners live in the back, and you can tell. The pool looked clean, but it was small and unattractive. This motel is conveniently located on Rt 101 in King City, so it's a good stop if you're traveling between LA and San Francisco, but there is nothing going on in King City itself. A few chain restaurants, fast food, a drug store and a grocery store are nearby. Free breakfast was offered, but it was mostly stale cereal in big plastic containers and some mediocre pastries.

Overall nice friendly atmosphere, clean and comfortable.

Good choice if you need a hotel in the King City area. A simple 2-star motel with decent rooms (flat screen TV, cable channels) but a poor excuse for a breakfast. Should be properly titled a stand-up continental breakfast. It's served on a counter in the tiny motel lobby. Better choice might be one of several breakfast cafes nearby.

...should not be mentioned. There will be a couple of breakfast items waiting for you in the front office, no breakfast room and NO milk with your cereal. Room was great and I gave them the best rating, but I'd like to see the word MOTEL mentioned so I'm not thinking I booked a hotel room with a decent complimentary breakfast in a separte breakfast room in the morning. I have kids.

After a long day of traveling, being chided for not smiling by the guy in back of the counter is JUST what I needed and wanted.

Hotel restaurant was better than expected and a good bargain

This is a plain and simple but perfectly comfortable, clean, reliable motel. It is very convenient to the highway. There is a simple breakfast included. This was a good place to stop for the night in the middle of a trip. I left a small radio in the room when we checked out and when we passed through town on the way home the owner was able to return it to me.

Good location off the freeway. Room was clean, the wi-fi in good order. Towels could be a little bigger.

The hotel and restaurant were good...ten years ago. Restaurant a bit overpriced for what it is. The rooms have DirectTV which is good and an HDTV, but the room didn't seem clean. Stains were left on the toilet that had not been cleaned prior to my stay.

This family-run hotel was a pleasant surprise after a long drive. For such a low price, they had full amenities and very helpful owners staffing the desk. older facility but well maintained.

This motel was adjacent to Highway 101 with a restaurant and gas station nearby. The room was clean and had everything we needed for a one-night stay. The free breakfast wasn't much to write home about....juice, cereal and pastries. Would have liked bagels and maybe a toaster. For the price it was about what I expected....(we had breakfast at the restaurant across the parking lot).

Good value for money and the rooms were very clean. Also they looked much better than on the pictures where normally it is actually the other way around. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I was pleasantly surprised by the room which had been updated with granite counter tops and a very nic flat screen TV. The family owners were friendly and welcoming. I would stay there again if I were in the area. I thought it was a good value. Breakfast could be improved by some healthy choices.

We were greated by a friendly manager who quickly gave us our room. The room itself was spotless and very well kept. The linens, bathroom, electronics, and furniture were all well maintained. The Burger King across the street made for an easy breakfast as we got back on Highway 101 S to continue our journey south. The freeway can't be 1000 feet away from the hotel, but you don't hear any traffic noise. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. More than happy to recommend.

Very easy access, right off the highway! Clean, comfortable. No complaints.

This hotel was clean and did the trick in avoiding the camping scene at Lake San Antonio. Close to the freeway and near restaurants and grocery store. The only bummer was that the power went out for about 45 min - but was not the hotel's fault!

Clean enough, but very cheap quality, and very ugly colors. I couldn't wait to get out of there.
