i rate it 100 percent except for the mattres it was uncomfortable.

Enjoyed stay at Ogunquit - lovely restaurants and night life

All rooms in this hotel has a view of the water. It is great for bird watching and just relaxation on the patio. The rooms are clean and pleasant. The morning breakfast are much better than the normal motel type continental breakfast. For the price, this is a good find.

Place seemed really old and could use a facelift

I loved the hotel, very quaint, close to everything. The breakfast was wonderful and the people were very nice. Will definitely go back.

We stayed for a recent wedding, and could not have been happier! Our room was bigger than expected, service was friendly, and breakfast in the morning was awesome! And you cant beat the view! We will definitely choose Ogunquit River Inn and Suites the next time we stay in Ogunquit!

We enjoyed our stay the the Ogunquit River Inn. The room was comfortable and clean. The only unfortunate detail was that we were beneath the kitchen prep area. The prep for the continental breakfast began at around 5 am and was constant foot traffic above our heads til after 10 am. Our next stay we would just request a different area. Staff was friendly.

We've been to Maine before but first time in Oqunquit. Definitely will return again. The Oqunquit River Inn and Suites is a good value for your money. The rooms are good size, they have free shuttle service to the beach which is important because parking is a premium and is expensive. Free Continental breakfast is good but adding fruit (besides bananas) to the offerings would make it very good. Ryan the hotel manager working the front desk was very friendly and helpful considering he was working 12 hour shifts because end of season makes for staffing issues. The room walls are solid and the place is quiet. We liked the idea of being able to kayak right from the hotel property- very convenient. Hot tub/whirlpool was nice too. This place is good for families, couple and/or singles.

Our room was not clean when we arrived and opened the door. We were given keys for more than one room. They charged and extra charge for my child because the search parameters that I put in had accidentally defaulted to one adult, rather than one adult and two children. There was also a window that maintenance had to fix that would not close late at night because cleaning staff did not pick up on it.

The location is great, the staff is awesome and the rates are competitive.I have stayed here several times, and will return . I love it here.It

This is not my first time staying and it will not be my last. I love the location, the staff and the rooms are comfy without being stuffy. I almost hate to give it a great review, in fear that others will book it up and ruin the charm !!!!.

The staff where so sweet and friendly....the comp. breackfast was great.....this was are first time staying there and we will be going there again next year

In general, this was a good stay. The front desk and breakfast room staff were very nice and accommodating. The pool was nice (although the pool area could use more lighting for night swimming; only the pool itself was lighted). The hotel was clean, although badly in need of updating. The linoleum on our bathroom floor was worn and scratched. The beds were okay. This was a very good deal for the price and location and timing (just before Labor Day). The free shuttle to the main beach area was very helpful as well (once an hour).

Limited continental breakfast. Long walks from lobby to rooms. Three stores with no elevators.

I rate the hotel attributes as follows: Location- excellent, Grounds- attractive; Staff-friendly; Breakfast-poor ( Having donuts or waffles every day gets old pretty quickly); cleanliness of the room-fair ( room was cleaned every day but I saw an odor absorbing gel conatiner under the bureau which means they are covering up somelthing. Also, I found the room unlokcked one late afternoon after returning from the beach.)

We stayed for two nights with an infant while the others in our group were in beach house. Clean, comfortable room in a great location.

The desk staff neglected to tell us about the hourly shuttle to/from the beach (until the last day of our stay), so we spent $25 each day on parking. The view stinks, just a wet swamp.This was not the view of the water I expected. The lawn chairs outside were old and dirty. The room was very old fashioned, and not in a quaint way. The continental breakfast CANNOT be taken to the room. Definitely not worth what they charge. I will not stay here again.

The location was great, the view was beautiful,the breakfast was fine, and the staff was friendly but the beds really needed to be replaced. Two new queen sized beds and some new (not musty smelling)carpeting would have made the room worth the price.

This is actually more of a motel than a hotel, but its only a 5-minute shuttle bus ride from the beach, and one can kayak on the river immediately behind the inn-very fun. The complimentary breakfast is also better than most.

It was ok,but the bed was too soft, the continental breakfeast could be improoved, Regards, JM

I just stayed at this hotel one night and thought it was good. Excellent location with the trolley so u don't need your car. That have a good bar across the street named Stutesy's Pub and Grille. Excellent view also over looking the marshes. Have nice pool and spa also, Could use a new carpet in some places but this hotel wasn't perfect but worth it. I was at Hampton Beach earlier but should of just came here directly.

We enjoyed it. Loved the sound of the nearby waterfall. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms have some dated furniture but at the same time it is well kept up and clean. Comfy Bed. Great views of the river and ocean beyond. Excellent waffles. Stay felt easy and pleasant. Seems they should invest in screens between the balconies. More privacy there would enhance the experience. We noticed too late that they serve cocktails at the reception desk.

For a quick stay, this was a wonderful experience! The room was nice and it had a slider that walked onto a patio shared with 3 other rooms. This was not specified so I was a little disappointed. (Along with our screen slider not working well) The view of the river was great and the location is perfect! The bed was comfortable and the service was fabulous!! We will definitely go back!!

it was nice, dissapointed that we didnt have a deck facing the river, the continental breakfast was great before we checked out.

We went to Ogunquit for a quick overnight stay which included seeing a play at the Playhouse. We came into town, found the hotel easily, spent some time at Well's Beach, had a great dinner at Lord's and saw a wonderful play. The room was clean and pleasant on the water side. There was a complete breakfast buffet including made to order waffles. The trolley stop was right at the hotel entrance and saved us from trying to find a parking spot in Ogunquit while we shopped. Very convenient, We would definitely use this hotel again.

Great clean place to stay in Ogunquit, Me. Clean and safe with plenty of ocean views. Great Breakfast also.

A group of friends picked this place and I booked as a follow-on. The room was large, though a bit dated and you accessed the room from the outside like a motel, not a hotel. My view from the upstairs of Building 3 was of the beautiful changing leaves around the outlet of the Ogunquit into the estuary - worthy of posting to Facebook. The breakfasts were nice - liked the waffles!

Pros: clean, convenient, nice sunrise view from room, nice staff. Cons: furnishings looked like they were from a1970's odd lots store, beds are old and need replacing. Inconvenient to get to the grass level rooms where we stayed (stairs and steep inclines to walk on) Overall: might be acceptable for a one night stay, but not for us.

Large rooms and view from balcony was nice. Very dated decor, but in ok condition

It was easy to find, clean and friendly staff. It was well worth the money. I would gladly stay again.

Not a resort, very tired rooms and furniture, carpet was filthy. Breakfaxt was low continental quality.
