Ramada Newburgh/West Point - ניוברג

THe hotel was clean, continental breakfast was good. Room was a fair size. Other hotel guests were somewhat shady. Not the safest area. Overall didn't have any problems staying here though.

Excellent Breakfast buffet included with stay. Everything was very nice.

so easy to get to from all directions, room was great- but friends came to see us while there and had to pay to get into bar when there was no entertainment on yet (btw- guests are free)

Front desk very nice

as someone who uses a lot hotels, i happen to be in a few other hotels in this area, and I can say that I didn't find any hotel that provide this services for this price in this area.

It was a decent hotel.

we just needed a place to stay overnight to contiue trip back home. Served the purpose. We went to the bar because the in room literature said happy hour free orderves and music later with buffett. Niether of those things existed. The bartenter said they have not existed for years. Menu ites are not what tjey say on the menue. Close but not what they describe. Mentioned to desk when we checked out but they could not care less. A place to stay overnight but that is all.

The place was clean and close to restaruants. It was easy to get to from I-84. I'd stay here again.

The hotel was clean and comfortable; the only problem is that every 2 -3 room you had to drag your luggage up 4-5 stairs as you go down the hall on the first floor. Location great; it next to major interstate hwy, dinning in the hotel and just across the parking lot. Shopping with in a mile (Mall)

The room was very clean and comfortable.our only complaint was kids running around in the hall..The Obers.

The front desk personnel was not friendly especially when I wanted to drop the key off as I was departing. He ignored me and went to help another gentleman that came up after I did. Luckily the gentleman said, "oh no, she was first". The desk personnel just "grunted" at me when I gave him my key. The room/furniture was beautiful though, as well as the foyer. Unfortunately the bathroom walls were stained and could of used a cleaning.

This hotel is very good value, no frills, an O.K continental breakfast and reasonable beds (Although the linen is very worn.) We were impressed with the fridge and microwave, a nice surprise if you are traveling on after your stay and have things to store or heat up. We had dinner out, the restaurant in the hotel was not very inspiring/welcoming. Good for a nights stop over.

The smell could be good or bad depending on if you like the smell of Indian food or not. Condition of hallways and exterior didnt give the feeling that the facility was maintained or cleaned very well.

Pillows were small and not comfortable, guests were very noisy, especially at 1 am.

Be ready to lug your luggage and wear some cozy shoes. Arrived at first room , non smoking. Smoke smell everywhere , tiny room , damp carpets. Updated furniture. Staff first said maybe someone took a puff and put it out. Not!! Well they immediately changed my room, and I never walked up and down so many steps to get to the room. No elevator. Found stickers on cars in parking lot from swing club , stickers didn't come off. Luckily my car didnt get one. The staff was friendly , the furniture was new but the walls and bathrooms tuck.

I thought, the hotel is well kept, but I didn't like the bathroom tub. The tub needs to be changed.Since we stayed on the first floor, we were able to hear the music from the lounge in our bedroom. The continental breakfast should have multigrain bread, and fresh fruits beside the banana. Overall the hotel is very clean.

Satisfactory considering we were in Newburgh due to the passinngg of a of a loved one

Mediocre hotel, but with limited hotel space in the area, it filled the bill of a single overnight stay and move on. Wouldn't consider it for any more than that.

When my wife and I arrived we were not overly impressed as the exterior was a bit run down with crumbling concrete in a couple of spots. Howeve inside the hotel inmroved considerably. Our room was very nice although the tub/shower could have used more work. We were happy overall with our stay.

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was less then spectacular but it got you started in theA.M.

Went with a "name" motel to hope for clean. Room was small and skimpy on towels; late check-in and they said no more were available on a Saturday night. The non-smoking room also smelled stale, but overall it was very clean and comfortable. We would stay again when visiting our daughter at New Paltz.

Nice place close to where I was traveling to.

We attended a concert in NYC. It was a convenient location, far enough out of city traffic.

won't be back

Overall it was a nice stay. The room had a little too much furniture in it & made it feel cramped. They do not allow checkouts later than 12 which is frustrating. I called the day before to make sure that I could check in between 1-1:30pm & my room was not ready when I got there so I had to wait in the lobby for about 30 minutes. The hotel is clean & the staff is nice.

Overall it was a good stay, but we complained about the cleanliness of the bathroom on 2 occasions and it was still not cleaned to the way we wanted it. The cleaning lady did not remove old towels that had been left from the last people who stayed in the room prior to us.

Hotel was great for the price. Got upgraded to a larger room. The room was nivce and clean. AC was a little wimpy. Beds were very comfortable. We needed a roll away bed and the front desk gentleman brought it to us. Our toilet also kept running and he came back again and fixed that. It seemed like there was one man running the whole show. Breakfast was a sad state. They had flimsy paper plates and hardly any variety in their breads. There were scrambled eggs and a waffle maker but someone had left a waffle in the maker and it burned and smelled badlly. It was a good place to stop on our way through New England and it was totally a good rate.

If you are looking for a place to sleep and do not mind dingy conditions, then this is the place for you. The pictures on the web do not fully disclose the poor condition of the hotel. To say the least that there was a bullet hole in the window in my room.

I would stay there again

I enjoyed my stay at the Ramada, the room was clean and updated, the service was not great but it was acceptable. The only thing that marred my stay was the weather. While I understand the hotel does not control the weather but when there was a tornado warning and the news services are telling us to take shelter now the hotel had no emergency plan. Upon going to the front desk to find out where would be the safest place we were told they had no plan. We were lucky and the tornado did not touch in New burgh it was still scary especially without any guidelines from the staff.

Great service, very clean room. Would go back there, most definitively.
