Reasonable rate for what you get...great location for accessing transportation. Rooms are very small, but clean and bed is comfortable. The buffet is average...nothing special. Right at Temple street market. Hotel is a little difficult to find from the Metro.

The hotel service was good, the maid who cleaned our room was very polite. The only thing that I didn't like was the room, it was extremely small.

The room was small but clean and presentable. The bathroom was small but it was ok. We were comfortable during our stay in the hotel.

Well I must say the room IS small I wouldn't deny that, expect half the size of a typical hotel anywhere else. But what do you expect of Hong Kong? This is exactly what you came to see, small efficient living spaces. Look behind the size and you'll see a clean and easily accessible hotel. Located 5 mins walk away from Yau Ma Tei mtr and ask for non smoking rooms if you like.

it's one of the busiest hotel I ever stayed. probably because of the convenient location and the reasonable rates. Rooms are very small but very smartly designed, it's perfect for one person.

We are very satisfied with our stay at Silka Seaview Hotel. It is very near Yau Ma Tei MTR station and lots of shopping around the hotel. The room is clean, thanks to the daily housekeeping which keeps our room tidy and toilet spotlessly clean. The room is not as small as we thought. We could lie 2 of our luggages on the floor and still there is space for walking. Overall nice hotel at a very good location. Temple street is just behind the hotel, with many food stalls operating till late night offering good options for dinner & supper. Only drawback is that the lobby is small and clamped with many stored luggages at certain time of the day.

The hotel is in a good location. Lots of good food around the area. Temple street night market is just 10 meters away. The Yau Ma Tei MTR Stn is a 3 mins walk. Do not expect too much as this is a budget hotel after all. The room is tiny and there is no space for big luggage. You will have to leave your big luggage in an up right position. TV channels are all in Cantonese and Chinese. The guests are mainly PRC nationals. The bad thing about this hotel is that it got my booking mixed up. Overall good value if you dun mind the small room.

This is just next to Mido Cafe - the Tin Hau temple is just across the street. If you want desert, Hui Lau Shan is on the opposite building. There's McDonald and Wellcome nearby. all the markets ie temple st night market, sneakers street, shanghai street (wedding dresses and kitchenware), jade market, gold fish market and flower market are within walking distance. There's ample of street food around this area too. The room is small but it's comfy...don't bring too much luggage with you as there might not be enough space...the only bad thing is you could hear your neighbor when they speak in the hallway..all in all a nice place to stay. The hotel shuttle bus is awesome...every hour and brings you to langham place, tsim sha tsui where the terminal to Macau is and all the shopping districts and most importantly to Kowloon mtr that brings you to the airport.

Very convenience to get MTR and night market was just beside hotel. Furthermore, HK famous dessert shop was just opposite hotel. Worth to stay!!! :)

overall the whole stay at the hotel was very good, except that they don't have complimentary water in the room. As i arrived very late, they upgrade me to a better room. there's a very nice tim sum shop behind the hotel

Close to MTR and Temple Street..good location for checking out HK...for the price, I'd say it was a good buy.

the hotel rooms were extremely small.The title was sea view but where is the sea view? they shouldnt send wrong message using names (like sea view)

It is nice, clean and esp. the location , only 3 mins walk to the nearby subway.except t the room is quite small. Since i only stayed for 1 night,and for the rate i was paying, i cannot complaint, I like this hotel.

If you are on a budget and want to stay in Kowloon, this s the place for you. The rooms are quite small, and the elevator is soul crushingly slow, but apart from that, it is a great place. Situated right near the Temple Street markets and associated eateries, and a 5 minute walk to the Yau Ma Tei MTR station, it was perfect. A jaunt to the New Territories or the Island are easy, as is Diamond Hill on the Tung Chung (?) line, as Yau Ma Tei as an interchange. Around the corner from the $33 airport bus stop, life couldn't be better. Definitely would stay there again.The room wa sclean and the one problem we had with the shower not draining properly was handled and fixed in minutes. Literally someone came up and sorted it out for us immediately it was reported. Breakfast is cheap and nice and the view from the dining room is awesome. Not ocean, but Awesome. Recommended highly.

Great location near night market and restaurants. Bed and room pretty small, but typical of Hong Kong Rooms. Housekeeper very nice and went the extra mile. Asked for more coffee in room first morning and she made sure I had extra each day. Bathroom great!! fridge a plus.

The room is as mentioned by others a bit small but it really is not that bad. They are furnished pretty nicely and it overall is a quite nice hotel.

Cleanliness of room was very good. Important thing was the location of the hotel. 5 minutes walk from Yau Ma Tei MTR and within half a minute from the nearest 7-11 and eateries/night market along Temple Street. Being near Yau Ma Tei has its benefits, as it's sandwiched between Tsim Sha Tsui and Mongkok, so it is within walking distance. Good hot showers. Overall very good.

Rooms were very small

The room is small but convenience, they charge to use WiFi, that's bad for today's travellers.

The location is excellent, very close to bus stop for airport shuttle, and other public transportation. The place seems newly renovated and clean. The room is small , but clean, quiet and with good AC. The staff is generally nice. Quality of service is generally ok.

Location is central Kowloon. Far from the shopping and busy streets of Tsim Sha Tsui, though proximate to the bargain mecca streets like Temple. Rooms were small yet the beds are comfortable. The hotel's name is a misnomer, there is no seaview rather the concrete jungle of the mid-range class. The housekeeping staff are friendly in comparison with the front desk. Don't bother to get a free breakfast coz the site has lots of restos for a budget traveler.

The hotel has pros and cons. It is convenient, newly renovated, clean, reasonably good service, and at a good price. However, I am 5'10" and I found the bed not long enough. My room is at the end of the corridor and I have no internet service even though I paid HKD100 for a 24 hours internet service. The central air was quite noisy and with no heat coming out during my stay in early February. The room was very cold.

good location, clean place but the only hotel in the world that does not have free internet for customer !!!

The hotel silka sea view in Hongkong would be a best option if your working on a limited budget but is looking for a comfortable and conveniently located hotel, however the staff are not so well trained to work under pressure.

staffs are careless, without carefully checking the room after I cheched out. staffs questioned me about a missing TV remote stand right at the front door of the hotel in front of a group of people while I had a plane to catch in 2 hours. They believed I took it. After I requested to double check the room again, they found the stand in the room. As soon as the staff confirmed on the walkie talkie; he walked away immediately without showing any apologize or offer any help because of the mistake they made which delay us getting to the ariport. The staffs are not well trained, they didn't concern our feelingand how they treated us. It was a bad experience staying in Silka Seaview Hotel. I don't think I have any thing about this hotel I would recomand to anyone that I know! Good luck to your business in the future.

Cheap compared to many other options in HK/Kowloon. Well located, right off Nathan Road, next to Tin Hau temple and the Temple Street night market. Near the Yau Ma Tei MTR (subway station), which made it fairly easy to get to from the airport. The district, away from the glitzier tourist spots, is safe but well-worn. Service and room were adequate. As others have mentioned, the rooms are small. But not that unusual by Asian business hotel standards. They are clean and functional. If you are over 6' (1.8m) you may find the beds short.

The hotel room is really really small, (maybe 8m2 of space) but comfortable & clean. Good location & 3 min walk to nearest Yaw Mah Tei MTR(trains),, basically located along the Temple street night market. 3 STAR ***

Only stayed overnight- ideal for overnight stay. Very small rooms, but not a problem for short stay.

the location is quite good which is close to Yau Ma Tei MTR station, room is small but renovated, clean and comfort. really recommand to people who just stay in HongKong for short period.

The hotel was fine and convenient. The shuttle to the Kowloon airport station doesn't start unitl 8:00 a.m but a taxi ride is only 20 HK$. Close to the night market and not too far from the subway station. Internet surcharge was $30 HK for one hour. Staff was friendly and helpful. Small room was clean and comfortable.
