I felt the overnight front desk person was rude and unpleasent.

We requested a non smoking room only to get a handicapped room that reeked of cigaret smoke. The sheets were full of stains and holes. I them asked the front desk guy for new ones which he did gave us. it still had a few stains but i figured what ever since i did see and smell them "they were washed" the shower was filthy. I had to shower with flip flops. There was no way i was going to shower barefoot. Breakfast was so lame. No coffee, Just cerial one type of milk OJ and apple juice.

I was happy with the Venetian Inn & Suites, It was clean fairly quite and a confortable bed. For the price I was pleasantly surprised.

no words to describe. Just awful people.

A very basic and dated hotel but it sever its purpose which was a cheap place to stay.

The Front Desk guy does not smile at all and He looks mad, very scary!!! He needs to go to a Customer Service Class. He needs to be polite and always smile to the Customers, especially a Front Desk Guy.

We felt unsafe, the room smelled, the breakfast consisted of a pancake on a stick and spoiled apple juice. I asked if there was any break ins and was told not so many, which did not make me feel safe. The ratings are very outdated and smelly. I definitely will never ever stay there again, even if it. was free.

For the price charged it was sufficent. My ironing board was broken, I had to lay it across the chair to iron. My time on the clock was bad, because the LED lighting did not work good. But for a place to lay my head after working all day it was pleasant.

I mean, it's not the Ritz. but I wasn't expecting it to be. My husband and I were in town only a couple nights and wanted an inexpensive hotel that was comfortable. We weren't planning on spending much time in the room, just to sleep! So this really fit in to what we needed. It was one of the least expensive places I could find. For what we paid, it was a great deal. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we got complimentary breakfast each morning. And it's located right along the freeway so it was easy and convenient to get in and out.

I didn't like that the hotel never mentioned that you must be 21 to book a room. I have never heard of this rule. I didn't find this out until I arrived at the hotel and the person there told me this. I am 19 and almost lost the money I payed to stay there. If there are some rules the hotels should post them up so everyone can see them at their website.

I would highly suggest no one to stay here! I paid for 2 nights and only ended up staying 1 night. Management was rude throwing me the card to get in the room and just plain poor social skills. The room was dirty and when I got there I had to wait 30 min for them to clean it and it still wasn't clean. Please people DO NOT STAY HERE! It was the worst experience ever it ruined my vacation!

The room it self was ok. You get what you paid for. Everything was great in the room. The room was clean and also the bed sheets. The only is that i wanted a non smoking room and it smell like like a smoking room.

Hotel was not located well, service desk person unprofessional, room was creepy and need remodel bad. Sheets were stained, bathroom wasnt cleaned well. My kids refused to sleep in bed. Never again.

i read previous reviews and they said how nasty the hotel was, which made me nervous after i booked the room. When we got to the hotel, which was a little hard to find, I was so nervous to see what we got ourselves in to. The hotel was not that bad. We only paid $44 including tax, I knew it wasnt going to be the greatest, but you get what you pay for. If i wanted to stay in a fancy hotel, i would have had to pay a fancy hotel price! We didn't spend a whole lot of time in the hotel anyway and I felt safe to lay my head down when we got back to go to sleep.

First, my gps couldn't find the hotel. I mentioned it at the front desk, and the guy there said it happened all the time. The room itself was pretty big, nice that it had a fridge and micro, but the parking lot is dark, and felt really shady... There was no soundproofing, and the guy in the next room kept me up with his snoring. I never really felt safe, so glad it was just a short night before an early flight!

The only good thing I can say about this room was that it was spacious. The service sucked. When I told the manager or owner that we had a bug in our room and also needed to have it cleaned, he asked me how many people were in my room. told him 3 and he told me that we only reserved for 2 and 1 needed to get out. When I told him the 3rd person was my infant, he got angry and stormed off. Never did send anyone to get the bug out of my room nor did they clean our room. We were there for 4 days as our son was having surgery at the Memorial Hermann. If that wasnm't stresful enough, we had to deal with this character! BAD NEW!

Room was nasty stained sheets bed spread pillows, room was nasty. Service was good helpful when asked to change sheets. Even the new sheets were stained.

This hotel is good for the money which you pay for it, nothing special about it all, the breakfest is not very good at all, the staff is friendly and try there best to make your stay a good one.

Awful! The bed,bedspread & pillows were dirty.I put towels down on the dresser to lay my bags. After paying for my 1 night stay. I booked a room at another hotel within 20 minutes of being in my room. This day & age we are a generation looking to prevent dirt and bed bugs. I was not taking any surprise guests home with me!!! The surrounding area is much to be desired. I booked based on the recommended stars. NO WAY this is even a 2 star hotel. I will stay the receptionist was very kind & pleasant. He was accommodating when I expressed my desire to leave. I have nothing but good things to stay about the staff that I encountered.

Hotel was quiet but apon check in clerk was cold and unwelcoming, our room had stained sheets on the bed and a hole this size of a fist in one wall. We call the front desk and the sheets were changed but a bad first empression had been made what else was not clean in the room? We wanted an inexpensive room but can't say we would visit again.

It was horrible...The front desk was bad! Short staff! i Got a rash after leaving that nasty hotel! They were sooo rude! I asked for towels, and them knowing i had 5 people in my room i receive ONE TOWEL.. at that they didnt even bring to me, I had to basically ask the housekeper walking around. Very sad!! This hotel was cheap and its service overall was as well very CHEAP! I definetely DO NOT RECCOMEND!

We were in Houston for a day trip. We did not plan to stay overnight so the hotel was great for a day trip. No one slept in the bed but it wasn't properly made up. There were cracks in the walls and it was falling apart in some places. The bathroom was another story but the guy at the front desk was very friendly.

IT WAS CLEAN. THE TIOLET BROKE BUT THEY CAME AND FIXED IT RIGHT AWAY.

Given the mixed reviews I'd read, it exceeded my expectations.

Nothing special about this hotel get what you pay for. Staff do try there best to make you feel at home. Breakfest is well below par.

it was awsome for the price. the owner of motel was the only negative part of the stay. he walked around with his print out making sure ur ready to get out of there at 11am checkout. no smile no greeting. he was rude and the fact that he is money hungry was apparent.

Customer service in any business should be #1. You can get away with a less desirable rating in other service aspects if you are "at least" polite. Their office manager was so bad that when I challenged his rudeness, everyone eating breakfast stood up and clapped. Why you ask? Because he'd treated them even worse. The bad part was, I had to endure his "attitude" for three days. Yes, he knew what he was doing. He just didn't care. I was told the owner covers for him since he's been working there so long. He gives Texas a bad name to outsiders visiting our great State. I'll never go there again because there is no hope for change where change is not desired. Why should they? They've got Hotel.com!

It is located near the center (Alamo), at about 20 minutes walk. The room was ok, clean. Because it's next to the freeway, it is pretty noisy. The internet connection (by wifi) is slow (not able to support voip call, just texting).

You get what you pay for, cheap hotel does the trick. I wouldn't stay here if I wasn't on a budget. The front staff man was one of the grumpiest I have encountered.

Breakfest is of a low quality, room are ok, so far best deal for the money

This place was perfect for the price. Our room even had a little refrigerator in it. Neither one of their coke machines worked

Not at all was was advertised. No ice machines, when going to the front office to ask for an additional blanket the front desk clerk would NOT open the door to let me in. After 10 minutes of standing there she opened the door and said she could not let more than one person at a time into the lobby. WTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on the day after my first stay my room wa not cleaned.

My safety was important the management did not care about they're customer service and the safety. The hotel is located in the hood sorry if anyone has to experience the stay.

Very convenient for our destination, but hard to find. Overall clean, there was a bug in the bathroom, but it was dead. Breakfast was just okay, but complementary. Room was good size.

Overall this hotel was okay for the price. I needed to sleep cheap in route to my next destination--this is why I choose this place. There were three things that I did not like. 1. I didn't like the elevated bath tubs. Can be a hazardous when getting out. The room, I had was clean, 2. but carpet was in bad shape with several iron burns through out the room. 3. Even though I didn't like the atmosphere of the surrounding neighborhood, the motel was quiet and I slept well.
