Good location but there are some caveats:Small doubles are really for 1 person (or 2 very small people) and bed is uncomfortable. The area isn't the best, but convenient for the station and walking distance to the old town area.

Although quite clean this hotel offered no in room service you had to purchase coffee or tea from a machine in the lobby. The hotel had an odour of stale cigarettes the beds were hard and the pillows were flat and for a family room it was very small overall not very comfatable and you can also hear the odd train from time to time.

Sketchy neighborhood, but as an international traveler you must always remain aware of your surroundings. Very convenient to the Central Station for access to anywhere in the city and surrounding area!

If you want a hotel close to central station this is your place. Surrounding environment is a little dodgy but ok. The hotel was comfortable enough. The pillows are almost flat so not great and the rooms are not sound proofed (as advertised) But overall I would stay again here. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

We stayed here with our toddler for only one night, as we were passing through Hamburg on our way to the Baltic Sea. The hotel is conveniently located about a 2 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof (main train station) - but the neighbourhood is a little seedy at night. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself to be clean and in good condition. We checked in late and were up and out early the next morning - so our time in this hotel was pretty limited, but overall it was a nice experience and we would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quick place to rest their head while passing through Hamburg.

Gets pretty loud at night. As there's no AC, we have to open the window to let cool air in... Good location.

Older Hotel in great condition. Hotel staff was great. Secure area provided to store suitcases while out sightseeing. I wish this hotel was at a nicer neighborhood. Did not get ANY sleep from constant noise (shouting, breaking bottles, auto tires screeching, etc.) all night long. Closing the windows did not help much at all. Warm humid night made this even worse. No A/C or fans.

The stay was pretty decent - my girlfriends and I stayed in a triple occupancy room. I'd say our major concerns would be: the third "single"/sofa bed was not stable because everyone someone moved, the bed would spring up... and also you are required to leave your room key at the front desk when you leave for the day. I've never stayed at a hotel that required you to leave your key at the reception if you have paid and reserved the room! When asked about why I had to leave the key they said "it's the rules" .... But that aside, the room was clean, bathroom was great, breakfast was basic, and it was in walking distance of the train station and other tourist destinations.

Hotel Eleazar Novum is a good place to stay if you are in hamburg for a short time. We were there for 2 days and the most important reason for booking here is its proximity to the main train/bus station as well as the city centre. Our room was small but I liked how the bathroom was large enough. The room was clean and the staff members were really nice--even allowing our luggage to be kept after check out since we didn't leave until the afternoon. As it is located near the main train station, you will be near the dodgy street of Steinstrasse but Bremer Reihe seemed safe enough. We did not avail of the breakfast in the hotel because there were plenty of coffee shops in the area anyway.

It was very nice to stay at the hotel, which was so good situated, clean and had nice breakfast included (it is important, cause not many Hamburg's hotels have it). There was no noise, neither from station or from neighbours. The only one problem: "strange" bars in the street: could be nice with something legal and nice :)

Booked this hotel because it appeared to be close to the railway station and it was. Just behind the Europaischerhof. Its only three stars so expectations were not high but the bed was comfortable the bathroom had a bath, with a shower attachment which more or less worked and it was all big enough for a few days. Breakfast was included and was "okay" variety is the spice of life and there was none there but from the choice you could select something. Wifi was free and worked easily, but the "wellness" cost €8 per day on top so we never bothered. The car park is clearly not for a "fast" car so don't try. For normal cars no problem getting in and out but at €12 per night and given it is virtually on the railway station without a car is probably best. Overall great location and reasonable price but next time I will use the Hamburg tourism special offer.

Easy to find hotel, nice people at the reception and fine breakfast. Very good at the price.

three star hotel near the central station, occasionally you will hear a train underground but not really a problem. If you go one block away you get to seedy areas as might be expected being so close to a large train station. At the right price/offer certainly worth it.

Hotel was located in a convenient location, close to the Hauptbahnhof. The room was clean, the general condition of the decor is decent. The breakfast was included - and offered a wide variety of fresh breakfast foods. Worth the price, would stay here again.

Vi är mycket nöjda med vår hotellvistelse.Framförallt var personalen i frukostmatsalen mycket serviceinriktad och och vänlig.De är värda en eloge.

Super hotel

Wij waren er 1 nacht met vier personen. nette kamer en badkamer.Met name de locatie ten opzichte van het station is perfect. De andere kant op wordt de buurt wel minder, maar dat hoeft geen bezwaar te zijn.

駅から近いのがありがたい！あまりいいエリアでないということでしたが、特に怖い思いもせず問題ありませんでした。夜中に少しうるさいかなと思いましたが、眠れないほどではなかったです。

Hotellet var godt og billigt og tæt på banegården. God valuta for pengene.

立地は中央駅から近く良いです。但し、トルコ人が多いエリアです。ホテルは、部屋の階等にもよると思いますが、私の部屋は、シャワーのお湯の出が非常に悪く、寒かったです。

Ingen luksus men OK value for money. Garagen uden relation til hotel så medbring kontanter ved ankomst.

Super hotel. Værelsets komfort og renlighed var i top. Morgenmaden glimrende. Venlig betjening. Og hotellets centrale beliggenhed var i gå afstand til havnen, museer, butikker samt cafeer+ restauranter.

Kleine Zimmer, winzige Bäder aber sauber. Frühstücksbuffet toll. Lage super, um Hamburg zu Fuß oder mit öffentl. Verkehrsmitteln zu erkunden.

Helt ok hotell nära järnvägsstationen men också i ett område med porrklubbar och casinon. Påträngande prostituerade gör området lite obehagligt på kvällstid

Hotelzimmer war direkt neben dem Aufzug, obwohl ich nach einem ruhigen Zimmer verlangte. Ständiger Lärm durch die anderen Hotelgäste vor dem Aufzug. Dieses Hotel würde ich nicht mehr buchen. Ansonsten war das Zimmer wie beschrieben in Ordnung.

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein aber definitiv zum Schlafen super ausreichend. Es war generell immer sehr sauber (das einzige war die Bettdecke meiner Freundin, diese war leicht dreckig was aber nicht sehr schlimm war) Das Bad war sehr sauber, einzig der Lack an der Heizung ist abgegangen. wir waren nur für einen Kurztripp dort aber ich würde das Hotel auch nehmen, wenn ich eine Woche dort bin und nicht viel im Hotel. Das Frühstück kostet 7,50 € p.P. aber bis auf die Brötchen/Semmeln war es super lecker und auch alle Angestellten sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Fazit: Ich kann das Hotel nur weiter empfehlen und würde es jederzeit selbst wieder buchen aber geht nicht in den "Wellnesbereich". Dieser besteht aus einer Sauna und ein paar Liegen und kostet pro Tag 8 Euro, was ich etwas frech finde. Achja, es gibt direkt neben dem Hotel eine Tiefgarage. An der Einfahrt hängt ein kleines Schild, welches wie wir in unserem Fall übersehen haben. Es wurde vom Hotel auch nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass es pro Nacht 12 € kostet und so kamen nach den zwei Tagen am Ende doch noch eine kleine böse Überraschung von 24 € hinzu.

es hat uns wunderbar gefallen. die zentrale und nahe lage zum Hauptbahnhof macht das erreichen von Zielen schnell und einfach.

Fantastisk dejligt område men placeret i det forkerte område med mange snuskede steder og prostituerede..

Opholdet var godt, da det var vores sølvbryllup vi fejrede i Hamborg. Hotelværelset var meget småt af et komfort værelse at være. Sengene var utrolig hårde og badeværelset meget småt. Men vi havde en hyggelig tur trods alt.

Ystävällinen henkilökunta, siistit ja suht mukavat huoneet. Aamiaiselta löytyi perussämpylät, myslit, murot ja kahvit, hinta valikoimaan nähden aivan kohtuullinen. Sijainti todella näppärästi aivan rautatieaseman vieressä. Hotellin lähistöllä näkyy muutamia seiniin nojailevia naisia sekä kerjäläismummoja, mutta mitään suurempia ongelmia ei kaduilla näkynyt.
