We liked the location and the room was nice enough, a bit outdated, but we were satisfied with it. BUYER BEWARE The famous dinner at Mdm Poullards was delicious but the menu was deceptive. They break out the House special as being only $25 Euro verses other larger meals at much higher prices--but the small fine print which often gets missed has $25Eeuro by 100grams & thus the meal served was 3 times that weight and the price is actually $75euro - not a bargain. Also a glass of champagne $22euro each--quite pricey for a meal starter. My wife and I felt duped.

Very unique experience to stay on the island. Call the hotel in advance to find out which parking lot to use and code to enter that lot. The advice to take a small bag for the overnight stay is important. There is a lengthy walk to the free shuttle to the island from the parking lot and our Room on the 4th floor. It is the very first hotel as you enter the island which is nice when you are first arriving with luggage. We enjoyed having the windows open overnight to hear the birds and the view. We could see both a peak of the abbey and the sea. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom was totally renovated. My only complaint was the dinner and bar. I wanted to try the omellette so I ignored the advice. Don't bother. Yes it is big but it is just a plain omelette and very expensive. They try to advertise the omlette with a lobster side for an attractive price but the price shown is per 100 grams and the smallest lobster is 300 grams so your lobster and omlette is now 3 times the price advertised. If you skip that option the menu with starter, omlette and dessert is still pricey and the wine is also overpriced. The pate starter was not very good and dessert was not memorable. We did enjoy the breakfast which was included in our rate. When we arrived bar was not open. When we decided to enjoy the bar which looks like a delightful spot at 9:45 after dinner we were told he was closing. Very disappointing and we felt it was pretty early for a hotel bar.

What a thrill to be right on Mont St. Michel. The hotel is quaint with multiple stairs cases and even a short hike outside to our rooms. The rooms were clean and reasonably large with updated bathrooms. You can chose from multiple restaurants after the daytime surge of tourists have left.

Nice to stay inside the island. Le Mont Saint Michel in the night and in the morning is very beautiful. But the hotel is old and expensive.

Very nice stay at the historic Mere Poulard. It was nice to experience Mt. St. Michel after everyone left the compound. The hotel was very nice, clean and the personnel who worked there were friendly. That said, we weren't fans of the restaurant. We think the famous omlettes are over-rated. Our dinner in the restaurant wasn't good. We don't mind paying that for a great meal, but this was far from great. The restaurant is a tourist trap.

Ever since my first trip to Mont St-Michel in 1991, I have wanted to stay at the Mere Poulard Hotel. Finally, it happened. Even though we had to catch 4 trains to get there and had to run for 3 of the 4, our stay at Mere Poulard was worth it. Also, we had dinner there; it, too, was super!

Over rated, unwelcoming once lovely, Hotel Mere Poulard on the historical rock island of Mount St. Michele, has seen better days. Even the uniforms of the wait staff are torn and messy. Reservations for staying at the hotel are not always kept, with 'the computer mix up' being the excuse. There are other hotels on the island, none are plush. If you insist on staying overnight, look for something else. There are hotels just on the mainland that are nicer and less affected with themselves. You can spend the day exploring the cathedral and wonderful views and exit in the evening.

First hotel you see once you enter Mt Saint Michel, so if you are arriving late it is very easy to find. Rooms cozy and clean. Avoid restaurant, prices are astronomically high and you can get same food at other places that are open till late too. But the hotel per se is really nice, more expensive than other hotels inside the walls, but in Main street and very romantic.

If you are planning on staying in the area to see Le Mont St. Michel, you really must suck it up and pay the price to stay on the island. We are not rich by any means, and this place cost more than double any other place we have ever stayed at in our lives. But it was more than worth it. The drive into the lot kind of stunk as we had to wait in line with all the other folk who were trying to get out of the lot and away from the island as the tide was coming in. It would have been much nicer to pay our parking fee and drive down the causeway directly to our parking lot. It was, however, a short jaunt to the main gate and the hotel is right there, the first one. This was really nice as the narrow street is extremely crowded with tourists. The front desk was efficient and spoke nearly perfect English. Our room was in a separate building and we had to tote our suitcases up two flights of stairs, back outside, and up another two flights to our room. This wasn't much fun, but oh well. Our room was very nice and comfortable. The part we will remember though was the view. Because we were at the top level of this building, we could look out over the causeway and watch the tide come in. This room was great because it was back away from the main street and we looked down onto the buildings that did border the street. We were away from the noise and people, and we kept our window open and it didn't feel at all like we were so close to hundreds of people. It really felt like we were in some small, out-of-the-way town somewhere. I truly think this separate building was a better place to stay than the main one. What was really nice was that the crowds left around 8pm because of the tide coming in. This left the town to the few tourists staying on the island, which was very nice. Go see the Abbye at night- you will never forget it!!!! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

Mont St Michele is an amazing place, and if you're looking for a hotel on the Mont, this hotel is located there. HOWEVER, if you're looking to sleep--don't bother with this place--it is extremely loud on the street below late at night and very, very, very early in the morning. Also, this place also seems to cater to tour groups--so when you get to breakfast, know that you'll be waiting for your coffee behind a bus full of locusts.

Cadre idéal, à l'entrée du Mont, intéressant, mais les consommations sur place restent onéreuses

モンサンミッシェル観光自体も、足腰の強化訓練ですが、４階建てのホテルにも、エレベーターがないため、荷物の上げ下げが大変でした。お願いしても、人がいないから自分でしてと言われてしまいました。モンサンミッシェルに泊まるときは、荷物は持って行ってはいけない！が鉄則です。朝夕飯つきにしましたが、夕飯はそれなりに、いただけましたが、ただあのオムレツがなぜそんな高いか？ただただ大きいだけでした。よい経験のひとつに加わりました。４万円アップの部屋とは思えませんが、おそらくモンサンミッシェル内のホテルの中では、入口から一番近いので、そこだけが救い、他よりもよいのでは？と思いました。

Chambre grande et confortable avec vue sur la statue de l'archange, mais la salle de bains aurait besoin d'être rafraichie. Le personnel est aimable contrairement à ce que nous avions souvent lu. Mais les tarifs pratiqués découragent rapidement tout "extra" (petit déjeuner, verre au bar ...)

二度目の滞在でしたが、今回の部屋は本館ではありませんでした。　以前が本館最上階でダブルルームのシングルユースで、今回はツインルームという違いもありましたが、前回が部屋からの眺望、室内の雰囲気がとてもすばらしかった為、比べてしまうと別館は少々残念な気がします。ただ、部屋の広さも十分ありますし、バスタブもありますので、満足できる滞在でした。　なにより、島内宿泊はのんびり夜を過ごせます。修道院のナイトコンサートも素敵でした。

よかった。 一旦外に出て、パスワードで建物内に入るという変わった部屋で、面白かった。 レセプションのお姉さんも美人だった。

Tarif élevé mais, quel cadre!

A very nice experience for my stay. I like the overall experience, the hotel kitchen at the entrance as a gimmick, a nice dinner in the hotel restaurant and the biscuit shop right opposite for getting souvenir. The location is unbeatable! Perfect location! Just at the month of the Mont saint Michel. You can miss it. Just one thing to note, they have 4 floora but without lift. We are living on 4/f room with a big and a small suitcase. Thus need a bit effort to move things. ( Actually the hotel reception offered to help but needa wait for a while. We end up doing by myself. (note you still need to park your car outside the island then take the free shuttle bus to mont st michel. Good to have free parking if staying in the hitel on the island)

島内に入ってすぐの所にありました。 受付を終えお部屋までが皆さんが書いておられた通り、狭い階段をくるくると、荷物をもって大変でした。お部屋はこじんまりとでも雰囲気のあるお部屋で、バスは広く綺麗でした。 夕食は田舎の割にお高いでしたが、サービスは良かったでした。前菜が美味しかった。季節のシチューは口にあわなかったでしたが、オムレツは美味しいでした。大きかったので二人でシェアーして丁度。あまり期待してなかったので、結構良かったねと印象は良かったでした。

続き部屋にそれぞれダブルベッドを入れていただき、トイレの窓からも海が見えました！古い建物に趣があって、壁や階段に戦前からのVipの写真やサインが飾ってあり、楽しかったし泊まりたいです。部屋の機械で、自由にエスプレッソを作れるのも、嬉しかったです

立地は、島内で最高でしたが、部屋が古く、空調はなし、扇風機と簡単な暖房のみ、シャワーの出が悪く、シャワーカーテンもなし、下手に使うと床が水たまりになる。フロントもホテルというより、たばこやのカウンターのようでした。また、レストランもコースメニューしかなく内容の割に高価、ホテル周りにもレストランがたくさんあるので、夕食、朝食とも外でとったほうがよっぽどいいです。ただ、WIHIはサクサクつながりました。

ひとり旅で１泊しました。 島内か対岸のホテルか迷いましたが、島内にしてよかったです。 モンサンミッシェルの出入り口を入ってすぐのホテルで、いいお値段だけあってとても便利でした。 バスタブあり、冷蔵庫あり。 ここのレビューでフロントから部屋までの階段がしんどいとのことで身軽にしていったので不便は感じませんでした。 窓から出入り口が見えるので、夜遅くに満潮で出入り口のなかまで海水があがってきているのがすぐわかったり、裏口からも出入りができるのでちょっと近道があったりと楽しめました♪ 女ひとりでしたが夜中まで出歩いても危険は感じませんでした。

Accès difficile,mais le mont saint Michel se mérite!!

ツインベッドで予約していたにもかかわらず、ベッドがひとつしかなく、現地で文句を言いましたが、そのタイプの部屋がいっぱい、ということで話になりませんでした。眠れない夜となり、不満でした。 それ以外は元々古いホテルであることは了解していたので、部屋の狭さや施設の老朽化は覚悟していたので、オーケーでした。でも、夜にお湯が出ず、シャワーを浴びれないのは、不便でした。

モンサンミッシェルの入口のすぐ側。 ただ、エレベーターがないのでまず3階迄階段で荷物を運び、さらにそれから別棟の部屋の3階迄また荷物を運び上げる事に。 パリに荷物を預ける場所があれば少ない荷物で移動が楽だと思う。 入口に近いので、チェックアウト後もトイレを借りれて助かった。 もっと安いホテルで良かったのだがハイスーズンでそこしか空いていなかった。 結構な宿泊費だった。 予算外だったので、早めにホテルを探して予約すれば良かったと少し後悔した。 でも、高いだけあってお部屋も素敵だった。

日暮れから早朝も堪能しようと思い宿泊 場所は入ってすぐにあるため迷うことはないでしょう。 快適性、ロケーションは問題ありません。 エレベーターがないので大きな荷物の人はキツイかもしれません。 ディナー、朝食共にしていないので食事はコメントしません。 2Fでの朝食はとってもよかったと思います。 バーラウンジはクラシックな感じで良いですね。

場所はモンサンミッシェルのなかにあり便利。ただ料金のわりに部屋とサービスのクオリティーに少しがっかり。 あと、ホテル内のレストランで食事したがそれも内容のわりに高いと感じた。

La réputation est surfaite, l'omelette est TRES ordinaire. Nous avons vu bien mieux ailleur pour le menu le plus cher. Par contre, le personnel est TRES bien. MERCI A EUX

hotel desuet mais charmant...bien placé....au coeur du mont acceuil agreable

モンサンミッシェルのバス停に一番近いホテルなので、荷物を運ばないで済みます。チェックインは3時でしたが、荷物をフロントで預かってくれます。ただ、フロントの脇においておくだけなので、貴重品はもってゆくべきです。部屋は３階でしたが、リフトもなく狭い階段であがります。（高い値段をとる割には運んでもくれません）また、エアコンもありません。WiFiは無料ですが、フロントで１時間有効のパスワードをもらいます。フロントの対応は良好でした。フロント夜９時ごろ閉まります。ホテルにはオムレツで有名なレストランが併設していますが、割高です。それに、名物にうまいもの無しと言うように、おいしくありません。他のレストランをお勧めします。総合的には、場所が便利なだけ、割高なホテルという印象です。観光地の一等地なのでしかたがありません。

Génial de passer une nuit dans le Mont Saint Michel. Le matin et le soir, il y a moins de touristes et le soir on profite des illuminations. Nous étions un couple + un enfant et le lit d'enfant était dans une première chambre en enfilade : très bien. Par contre, le petit déjeuner me semble un peu cher car manquant de diversité.

Cet hôtel historique est un sur un emplacement de reve. Cependant pour ke niveau de gamme et le prix nous notons: une salle de bain sans charme et au style dépassé, un service au petit déjeuner inexistant, un personnel dans l'ensemble peu enjoué. L'hôtel reste cependant un lieu mythique et a découvrir.

ツインに一泊しました。パリよりも部屋は広めだと思いました。かわいいお部屋でしたよ。部屋自体に不足はありませんが、チェックインが３時半までできませんでした。かばん一つで行ったので、重いまま午前中からずっと歩き回ってグッタリでした。２時にはかばんの中身を減らして身軽になれると思ってたのに、ちょっとガッカリでした。 ３時半に部屋に入るとむっとして暑かった・・・。エアコンはないようだし、窓を開けようにも１階の外の通路に面していて人が通るので開けられない。朝ごはんもちょっと高いと思いました。近所のカフェが開くまで待った方がいいと思います。
