Blue Sky city beach hotel - העיירה רודוס

Very disappointing. Booked 7 nights and the room was filthy. The carpet was absolutely black with huge stains. This dirt i assume has built up over the summer months and not been attended to. The stairways between the floors were the same.My son in an adjoining room fared better with a laminated floor but his shower cubicle collapsed and water flooded through the ceiling from the A/C unit when it was switched on. Otherwise fairly spacious room,plenty of mirrors/wardrobes etc. In room bar prices very reasonable. Reception staff very helpful. Breakfast- very basic cheap food- including sub standard bacon/sausages/bread/orange juice etc. They must have been the cheapest around to buy. Didn't try the evening meals priced at 8 euros for a buffet, but it seemed repetitive.Overall, a thumbs down and really only a 2 star hotel.

IT WAS OK. The room was alright. Was told on arrival that we had been upgraded by the hotel to a sea view, but that was already arranged when we booked. The bathroom/toilet was very small and the shower cubicle was really tight. Breakfast was reasonable but not great. The carpet was dirty in the room. The TV was small and the channels were limited. Amenities were ok. Location for the beach was great approx 50 meters

The hotel def seen better days- refurbishment needed- carpets worn and place tired looking- sheets looked like been slept in- but staff very helpful and replacement within 10 minutes- cleaning staff very helpful and friendly. Wait staff helpful and service okay. The food was average quality and quantity.

The Hotel is good, all the staff are super but the food and the rooms could so easily be much better. - The food is good but could do with better presentation and service. Our room would have been much better had it had a more up to date TV and certainly needed a better laundry detergent.

the staff were extremely rude, total unhelpful. The room was disgusting, with filthy carpet and smelt revolting. Asked for a wakeup call and received it, half an hour late, almost causing us to miss our flight. I will never reccomend this hotel to anyone and will be telling people not to sky at blue sky Rhodes! The WORST hotel of my holiday!!!!!!!!!!

Pool and reception area is lovely. Room was okay, a little tired but clean enough. The only problem I had was the drinking glasses were dirty in the room which was easily sorted. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was good within walking distance of old town and right opposite the beach. Restaurant Tamam was in next street and would recommend a visit.

Fantastic location, very nice pool area. Great sea view from room, nice balcony. However, room itself was in a dire needed of renovations. Ugly, stained carpets and outdated amenities. But, for the low price, it is worth it. We didn't spend too much time in our room anyways...

The outside of the hotel, the pool area, restaurant, and lobby were very nice; easily a 4 or 5 star hotel. Unfortunately the hotel room wasn't even close, there were deep dark track marks in the carpet and in desperate need of renovation although it was spacious. The neighborhood directly outside of the hotel was fine: the beach, supermarkets, etc, but beyond that the adjacent street was mostly: bars, sex shop, strip club, and tatoo parlors. Although you can't exactly choose who moves into your neighborhood.

More expensive and less impressive than any of the other places we stayed in Greece or Italy during our 3 week trip. Even wanted 20 Euros extra for the use of our room safe. Keep us in limbo for a while while they tried to find a room for us even thought we had a confirmation number from Hotels.com. We left the door hanger requesting maid service. They opened the door and put the hanger on the dresser without cleaning or replacing towels. On the plus side, breakfast and the pool are both nice. If you want to sit in one of the chairs at the pool, however, make sure you are there as soon as the pool opens--they go fast.

Reception, Poolområde, Bar, Utomhusbar, Loungen... Ja, allt var i princip kanon. Rummen var dock lite halvdana. Liten toa och dusch och sängarna var ganska små och lite halvhårda. Utsikten från balkongen var dock magisk och man ska ju egentligen bara sova på rummet när man är iväg!

Bra hotell. Personal hade full koll.

I will write a better review on tripadvisor. Be sure to read that as well. The good: The hotel lobby was nice. The rooms were clean. The sunset was nice The bad: All rooms recently refurbished it says on their website. Translation: we've changed a couple of lamps and light switches, and we've smeared some silicone around the worst cracks in the bathroom. Everything else in the room was from the 70ies. And the first room we had was tiny, bordering on claustrophobic. The carpet was from the 70ies with lots of stains. The AC wouldn't work unless it was set at below 15 deg C. Then it didn't stop. (In our second room it only worked when set below 5 deg.) The beds were rock hard(and I don't mind a hard bed) we actually had red marks on our bodies after sleeping there. The bed spread was also from the seventies, washed out and with something looking like mold-spots. The breakfast was dismal. I tried mailing the hotel before arrival because I needed a late checkout. I didn't receive a reply, so I had to book an extra night with hotels.com instead. I would regard this hotel as a 2-3 star.

når man tænker på at det er et 4* hotel overrasker det meget at værelsets størrelse kontra badeværelsets størrelse, da vi synes brusenichen er meget lille i forhold til de andre hoteller vi har boet på og som kun har haft 3*

L'albergo è centrale, e a due passi da rodi città, ma per chi desidera una vacanza di solo mare, consiglio di andare sull'altra costa dell'isola, visto il vento sempre fortissimo è impossibile stare nella spiaggia di fronte all'albergo. Il personale è cordiale e sempre gentile, indispensabile però parlare un po' di inglese, non sanno una parola di italiano.

Voyage parfait, hotel très confortable, situation ideale si vous ne souhaitez pas louer de vehicule, la vieille ville est a 10 minutes a pied, la plage de galets est a 50 metres. Les buffets sont dans la norme, avec mezze possible tout les jours ou cuisine classique chaude correcte mais un peu simple parfois. Franchement pour le prix vous ne trouverez pas mieux mais surement moins agreable... Le personnel est tres attentif a vous satisfaire

Trevlig personal och fantastisk frukost och middagsbuffe´ . Rummen är rena, men har gamla mattor och det minsta badrum vi haft. OBS! Duschen kommer inte en något överviktig person in i. Rummen har typisk halvdan medelhavsstandard. Poolen var bra. Den renas varje natt på ett vackert sätt. Åk dit och se själv. Två svenska 67-åringar

bra läge nära till centrum i mina ögon slitet 4 stjärnor hotell med bra frukost och pool resten dåligt. Skall inte behöva betala för internet 2010 på 4 stars hotell.

Personnel très gentil mais l'hôtel n'est pas un 4 * mais plutôt un 2*. Les chambres donnant sur la rue très bruyante et ceci jusqu'à 5h du matin,ménage fait qu'une seule fois par semaine, et le dimanche aucun ménage ! Les moquettes sont donc sales.La nourriture est très moyenne digne d'un restaurant industriel, les serveurs sont dépassés par le nombre de clients, le petit déjeuner est catastrophique (chocolat chaud à l'eau)bref je déconseille cet hôtel ! j'ai payé bien trop cher deux chambres pour ce type d'hôtel ! Je suis très déçu !!! Il faut qu'une évaluation de cet hôtel soit refaite. Merci et bien cordialement.
