THE PEQUOT HOTEL - Oak Bluffs

Our room was nicely furnished and neatly kept. Two things needed to be improved. One,the lighting in the room was very dim. Second, would have preferred HiFi Internet connection INSIDE our room.

Our stay was fantastic. I would stay there again. When I made the reservation I had no idea where the hotel was located. It was just smack dab in the middle of all the action. To the right down the street was the main drag of town, to the left down the street was the ocean. The place just made you feel warm and COZY! I recommend it.

My wife and I enjoyed the accommodations and would really recommend a Refrigerator next time in our rooms to keep drinks cool, especially for health reasons. I can never replace the experience of the Staff and residence in the facility. All were friendly and hospitable.

Hotel rooms were recently modernized and very clean. Unfortunately our room was quite small with an extremely loud air conditioner and marginally comfortable bed. No phones in room. We won't be booking any return trips here. Consider looking elsewhere!

we so enjoyed our visit with pequot...cookies, compliments, great porch to watch the folks walk by. we walked down to the beach very early in the morning for a quick dip in the ocean.

The location and staff were terrific.

The facilities were clean and well kept. I was delighted to be offered a room upgrade upon my arrival. Morning breakfast was a plus. Chocolate chip cookies were available in the aftenoon with ice tea as well. I would recommend other travelers to the area to stay at this hotel. Its location to the center of town was excellent.

the rooms were very small but the service was wonderful. they will give u chairs, towels and umbrellas for the beach. will even give towels and showers even after you check out. it had a very homey atmosphere and the other guests are very friendly.

Very accommodating. Allowed for early check in. Only allowed for luggage to be left in the lobby, which made me a little nervous. Otherwise, great experience.

Oak Bluffs is a fantastic area -- in and of itself - as well as its quick bus trips to Vineyard Haven or Edgartown. This gorgeous b& b provides a fantastic location, wonderful service, and the quintesential atmosphere expected on Martha's Vineyard.

When I travel it is all about a clean hotel and location, location, location. This hotel was old but clean, comfy beds, and the front desk very helpful with menus for local restaurants. It was a few blocks from the ferry, 2 blocks from ocean and 2 blocks from the main street in Oak Bluffs, The hotel was surrounded with many colorful, charming houses in a quaint neighborhood. The front porch is a great place to meet other guest, or read a book in on of the many rocking chairs. We'll be going back next year.

The Pequot Hotel in Oak Bluffs was a charming and cozy spot. Walking distance to everything. A nice little hideaway. I'll definitely go back.

My boyfriend and I went away for the weekend and this was very convenient! If your looking for a place to just sleep and not hang out in room, I'd highly recommend! Staff was very friendly as well!

Short walk from ferry landing. Room was clean and neat, but bed springs squeaked. Day manager very helpful, night manager not so much. Good neighborhood and only 2 blocks from shopping.

Although this is an older property, the exterior is very well maintained including a small court yard and fantastic front porch with rocking chairs. The atmosphere is completed by fresh chocolate chip cookies in the lobby. The private rooms are definately older and outdated, but everything was very clean. Older plumbing fixtures and cracked painted accompanied the otherwise quaint and friendly atmosphere. You are a 5minue walk to the beach and the heart of Oak Bluffs shopping and restaurants. Our one night stay was perfect, but I wouldn't want to stay more than that.

Location is fabulous.. for ocean and town restaurants and shops.... Hotel is a bit older and very used looking....our room was plenty big... but bathroom had rust on the baseboard...tub was old...air conditioners were falling apart....windows in second bedroom didn't open..and the glass on the windows was cloudy and dirty....The staff was fabulous and helpful.. Porch was fabulous... and breakfast was nice...Had a great time and felt very comfortable here... but was not impressed with overall appearance of rooms...room was cleaned every day and clean towels and bed made daily..that was nice...there were other B&B's in the neighborhood that looked a bit nicer and will probably try those next time...Bed was not comfortable either...overall just average to a little below average ..to what I am used to when travelling...

The hotel was conveniently located and very clean. The staff were also very pleasant. The bed was very comfortable. We had a queen room with private bath. Unfortunately, we stayed during a very bad Noreaster. The winds were 60 mph and the town lost power. We had to leave a day early and caught a ferry out of Vineyard Haven instead of Oak Bluffs. The seas were 12 feet. It was quite an experience.

Great intimate hotel in a charming little town close to everything, especially the beach. The Pequet was clean, nice and the hotel staff was very nice. If you are adventurous don't do the MV tour bus. Rent a moped or other rental and go explore.

Our stay at the Pequot Hotel was a very pleasant experience. The room was very clean and the bathroom was updated and spotless. Great front porch for relaxing in rocking chairs. Fresh baked cookies and tea at 2 in the afternoon. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to be in the heart of Oak Bluffs but on a quiet side road. Only about two blocks from the beach too.

Vi bodde på dette hotellet i tre netter og har vel sjelden vært på et hyggeligere sted. Hyggelig og hjelpsomt personale, og sjarmerende og store rom. Frokosten var veldig bra med hjemmelagede muffins til kaffen. Videre hadde hotellet en hyggelig veranda hvor man kunne sitte og nyte hjemmebakte kjeks og limonade på ettermiddagen. Nær en flott strand og kort vei inn til gågaten i Oak Bluffs - kanskje den hyggeligste byen på Martha's Vineyard. Kort gangvei til ferjestoppet til Cape Cod. Anbefaler alle å reise hit, og håper selv at jeg kommer tilbake engang.
