Value Place Myrtle Beach - מירטל ביץ'

Hotel was not as nice as I was led to believe but it was bearable. Stayed second night in another motel close to beach.

We traveled down from Michigan (13 hour drive to Myrtle Beach) all day Saturday. We didn't arrive in M.B until close to midnight and simply needed a cheap place to crash before beginning our vacation at an oceanfront resort. Service here is awful, I asked for a toothbrush and hairdryer and was hastily informed they weren't available. Really?! A hotel without complimentary toothbrushes? Overall, cheap place to lay your head before heading on to a nice hotel.

Well I had booked a room that should have been non smoking, I could tell that the room had been a room for smoking. It made me sick to my stomic. When we check in the desk person was not very friendly to me. The hallways smelled like mold was in the carpet in the hallways. I am not inpressed with value place and I will not return in the futrue. The beds where not confortable. I am sorry I am not trying to be rude.

the hotel stay was horrible! no pillows in the room, a broken toliet, & a broken heater! unfriendly staff! avoid at all cost!

Value Place is fine for a very short stay. The room was clean overall. The kitchenette offered a fridge, sink and two surface burners. Plates, coffee maker, cook ware etc. are available at an extra charge. We received limited linens however were offered more due to the holiday. The linens were dingy and the bed spread was burned. The bed was good for our short stay although it was simply a mattress on a platform. Room is not cleaned unless you clean it or pay extra for maid service. Overall Value Place is good for a short stay no more than a day or two.

For a last minute stay and the price, if you're on a budget, this hotel meets the criteria. The check in was quick and easy and the hotel staff who waited on us was very courteous, informative and attentive to our questions.

The room was clean and offered a small kitchenette area. However, I wouldn't compare this with a "hotel" as it is the type of place that people rent for weekly or monthly stays or are in-between places. The live-onsite attendant was very nice and helpful. If I had to sum it up... you get what you pay for at this place.
